Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / PSP sound crackling?

Nope, nothing like that for me here. But there was one thing I noticed and this could be due to me ripping or what. But i ripped an episode of ATHF and when I fast forwarded it, towards the end the sound got out of synch. But when i rewound it, it synched right back up. So either it was a fluke or something. I'll have to test further.

Thanks for hosting 'em! Thanks for taking them! The system looks great. I like that most of its screen. The gameboys are also clustered with unused space, nice to see sony noticing that and fixing it. 21 days folks!

So, do you happen to have a digicam? If so, can we get some shots of the unit with something for measurement purposes? And too just drool over. Sure - If you guys could walk me through how to get pics in here, I'll post whatever you want! You need an internet web host or a place to upload the pictures. Then its as simple as using the [ img]addres here[/ img] to show them. If you dont have a host I can put them up on my site and post them here.

How does it handle? I mean, does it feel comfortable in the hands after a few hours? Are the graphics and sound great? Will I regret preordering one? heh

Well since no one else wanted to take a stab at it here it goes. About an hour into disc 2(the first one is pretty short for some reason). I liked how they ditched the big eye anime look. Some people look really weird though, like jr and chaos, they dont look right for some reason.
The graphics are sleeker this time around too. KOS-MOS's hair has a reflective sleek look to it and all around they look a bit sharper for other characters. But the world itself stays about the same as the last game.
The sound and music so far have been great. I like the new battle music and the new music i've heard. There are new voice actors for some of the characters too. Some are much better than the previous game.
The battle system is a new one. I do like it better than the last. This time around the enemies have hit zones where they are weak. When you do a combo and its a weak spot the letters on the screen turn red. If both are red you found the weak combo. If you time it right you can boost another character and do a chain attack. This deals even greater damage. If you keep boosting you can deal massive damage before the enemy can even touch you. This technique is more affective for boss battles. Outside of the tutorial i havent had a chance use AWGS, so I cant comment.
I am really digging the story. There's a lot of flash backs that help tie things from the previous game together. I dont know why Pharoh was complaining about the story being like the first. That makes sense, its a contination. If you notice it says episode 2, so of course there will be cross overs. But this one does forward the story in quite some startling ways.

I loved XS1 and i'm pumped as hell for the next installment. The story and gameplan was top notch. I dont really see what the big deal about the movies was. They were excellent and absolutely vital to telling the story. I am a bit disappointed to hear XS2 wont have quite as much CG in it. The first 8 hours or so will have the most cinemas. But the story really heats up and you will want to keep playing.
I say go for it. I think playing XS1 will give you vital information you need for the next one. Plus its a superb RPG.
edit:you can also pause or stop the movies at anytime too.

Have you made another character? I found rotating helps. There are days when I log in, sit around for an hour doing nothing. I used to play every waking moment. Its a fun game, but I guess I cant just play it as much anymore.
Exploring is fun as well. Now that my main is 52 I can explore all those cool zones I used to fly over.
To be honest, I am really holding out for battlegrounds. I think pvp is quite fun, despite the balance issues. I enjoy pvp'ing with a goal in mind rather than just a big old cluster. Plus the fact that once you're dead in battlezones you stay dead until the spawn. Like was stated above, not every one likes the same game.

Maybe its random in the neighborhood. But you can cheat the system too. Just find 2 houses close by. Rob one and then the other. Go back into the first one the items should have respawned. Have fun

Yeah spray paint in your house you start at. Here's an easy way to find the thief van. Goto the gym you first goto(right by your house) turn around. See those apartments? Head there and the van spawns in one of those lots. Simply drive around do the missions and park it in your garage.

There is not any UT2003 stuff because theres a whole new game UT2004 out. The point that I was trying to make is it is impressive that Bioware is still even paying attention to the game. They have a lot of games coming up and they have released a big one since. Not many companies still support two-year old games, except maybe Blizzard. Dude, epic supports UT2k4 like no other. Where do you get your information?

I am having a blast with this so far. The missions at the start are kind of meh. But I am starting to get cool and fun missions now. I dont think the sound track is as awesome as VC's was, but its still pretty good. So far, so good. A little hint to people who may get lost, bring up your map screen and move over a place you want to go and hit the O key. This sets a waypoint. I found it out by accident, for those of us who dont read, hehe. It has been a life saver.

I think its awesome. Great story with some cool twists later on. It starts off a little slow, but towards the end of the first disc things pick up and get really interesting. I have put about 40 or so hours into the game and still have a ways to go. I just wish the team mates AI wasn't so dumb during combat. Otherwise I have no real complaints against it.

There are no late fees with gamefly. I just canceled my account for a few reasons. The most important there are just too many good games I am buying in the next 3 weeks. Also, it took about a week from the time i sent a game out to get one back. I think its gamerang or something thats opening a center in MN and is about a few bucks less. This works good if I ever decide to do something like this again.
