Like with Knack, and to a lesser degree Driveclub (which had very real launch problems) there does seem to be a tendency for reviewers to be out for blood when dealing with the Sony exclusives. Bloodborne next month will be interesting.
Inverted input sounds like a really weird way for a controller to break. I'd expect to see drift or dead input, I'm having a hard time imagining how a controller breaks in a fashion to cause inverted input.

I'm pretty sure it saves character status whenever you quit to main menu.

I think the issue is your low level. Outside of Seasons or Hardcore I think most people have hit 70 with many levels of Paragon at this point. I have every class at 70 and 340somethign Paragon.
Since that Sharp analysis showing the Patriot's fumble rate to be some crazy anomaly is bound to be posted at some point, just go read this instead and see why he's wrong (and possibly intentionally fudging the data)

Tyson did that calculation assuming absolute pressure (as the equation calls for) and not gauge pressure. There was a 15% drop (alleged, now it's alleged less) in gauge pressure, he did that calculation assuming a 15% drop in absolute pressure. 15% in the gauge pressures listed would equate to a 7% difference in absolute pressure. That also assumes that temperature was the only factor where the football being wet may have slightly altered the volume as well. So like I said, slipshod.

Serious answer, that's just more bad reporting. Half these stories have had misinformation, such as it was Jackson who noticed the difference in the ball, or how many can't tell the difference between pressure and weight.
Why wouldn't weather affect the Colt's balls the same way?
Who says it didn't? Were they checked and what was the drop in them, because unless they were inflated wet and at 50 they would have a PSI drop. It's possible that they were prepared under different conditions and we don't know what they started at, they could have started at 13.5 and suffered only a 1lb drop and still been regulation.
To act like weather doesn't have an effect on PSI is to deny science.
Just copy your saves and screenshots/video captures (if you care about them) to a USB thumbdrive and you're good to go. That process could be a little more streamlined though, would be nice to have a "copy all saves" option, you kind of have to go game by game.
The other thing is you'll need to redownload all your DCL/Games, also make sure to reset "this is my primary console" or whatever setting post HD swap.
Pretty sure Worshiper boss kills you if you don't get into the shrines when he does the ground thing at the health incremental. It's also somewhat not obvious as it seems like it's just going to be the pools on the ground, when in fact it's everywhere but the shrines.

You're the first person I've heard say that the story is good though. Every review says that's a major weak point for LotF.
The difficulty level is much more tolerable than Dark Souls. There are save crystals strategically placed throughout the world, and when you use one your health and health potions are restored. The twist is that each time you use the save slot, your experience point bonuses reset to zero. You gain these bonuses with each enemy you kill. For example, kill 5 enemies and the XP multiplier become 1.15. Kill 20 and it becomes 1.75. It makes leveling faster. Using a save slot resets it to zero, but that is only a minor impediment.
Combat is very similar. Forget about dodging with heavy amour. Two handed weapons have very slow arcs that can be interrupted by fast enemies, etc. Combat is nice and realistic. Getting your shield hit by a powerful blow can send you sprawling to the ground. Getting hit in the head can momentarily daze you, etc. The weapon assortment is MUCH greater than Dark Souls, and various gems you find can be crafted into the weapons to increase your poison damage, fire resistance, etc.
You can play a few different combat styles: sword and shield, two-handed, dual wield daggers, magic based, etc.
A few recommendations if you pick it up:
-Encumbrance is the most important aspect of combat. As with Dark Souls, low encumbrance might mean you can make 5 consecutive attacks before becoming fatigued, whereas high encumbrance may allow you only two strikes. -Sword and shield is best for newbies. -There is a magic spell that allows you to send a ghost version of yourself smashing into enemies. Max out this spell. -Always be watching for hidden rooms and secrets. There is free DLC in the XB1 and PS4 versions that allow you to wear a ring that chimes when you are near hidden treasures, but you still need to figure out HOW to get to them. You get the ring via a quest early in the game. -If a boss beats the sh!t out of you too quickly, you are underleveled. Unlike Dark Souls, there are not really any cheap bosses.
Finally, the story is good, but I should stress this is true only if if you read all of the scrolls and hidden parchments. There are very few cut scenes or NPC conversations.
This game was my hidden gem for 2014. I played it on a high end PC and the XB1.
I dunno about that one. The bosses have some one hit kills, some of which you don't know are one hit kills until you die to them, also the hit boxes are bit wonkier than in the Souls games, and you will at times get hit by something that visually clearly misses.
I wonder if it is trying to do some network call and with PSN being hosed was hanging and not giving a real error. Try disconnecting the PS4 from the network and see if it goes away. The problem with the outage from the DDoS is things are in a partial state and certain services aren't properly recognized as unavailable.
The soap opera effect has nothing to do with resolution, but is a result of motion smoothing to match the frame rate to the refresh rate, this is done by creating new frames by interpolating images between frames. It helps reduce judder on fast pans, though it seems most people dislike the effect overall.

Just had to vent, the ipad is a nice place to play while not at home, but would be so much better if the execs at these companies weren't such idiots. I get that they may make more now, but long term the latter is a lot better option. Charge $15 or $20 for a full fledged sim city game on ios without IAP shiit, your eyes will be open ea idiots.

This fight is over, the market expects mobile games to cost $5 and under and even $5 is considered the high end.
I'll check out the PS4 version of Loadout and grab Guilty Gear. GG is reasonably gamepad friendly with only 4 attack buttons, I'd still prefer an arcade stick but at least it's not like a Street Fighter where I'd be hitting shoulders for heavy attacks or something, I hate that.

now that the Alien is gone. It was more of a nuisance than anything and now the game is playing a little more like a stealth game.
Unfortunately I read a spoiler last night that the Alien (or Aliens) come back. I don't know how they come back story-wise, but oh well, there's a surprise down the drain.
I really like the environment design and the story, and Ripley is a great character. One of the few game characters whose actions and abilities make perfect sense based on how the character has been presented to us. The gameplay itself is what I'm still trying to work out if I like. As I mentioned, the Alien I just found to be annoying. I could crouch walk around without making a sound and then invariably have it drop through the ceiling and impale me while I'm working on a fuse box or whatever.
And yeah, still not finding the game scary at all. I don't think this is the game's fault, because lots of people say they find this game very scary. I guess it's just not the kind of stuff I find scary. Things that tend to get to me are creepy things like messed up monsters and creepy environments, and yes, jump scares. This game has robots and clean hallways and things that will grab you off the floor as you walk by, something that works exactly once until you know to look out for it. But Silent Hill and Outlast and stuff like that, I can't deal with.
Features stage changes, as well as special round finishers. Ryu performs one knocking Chun Li into a wall where a bowl of noodles falls on her head, and it is there on her head for the rest of the next round.
And also, writing off Ubi is like writing off Naughty Dog for the total abomination that Uncharted 3 was, yes it was a terrible game. U4 does look to be getting back on track though for that series, and we saw how ND bounced back with Last of Us.
This has been a bad year for Ubi but comparing them to Naughty Dog is misguided, the two make very different games. Naughty Dog games generally have been rather linear in the recent past as opposed to Ubi which has been producing mostly open world games. This is also part of their problem though as they have been applying the same formula to multiple games, AC, Watchdogs, Far Cry, The Crew.
Also part of the problem Ubi faced this year with AC, aside from the bugs, is that they got one upped by Shadow of Mordor, which while refining a lot of other games concepts did bring something new to the table with the Nemesis system, which I will wager you are going to see other companies start to clone. Also, it's not clear from your post but Ubisoft did not publish Mordor, that was a WB game.
