Hitman GO...a weird looking board game.  Seems like the use the Hitman license is just to get attention because it is nothing like the Hitman games in terms of gameplay.  Still it is getting very good reviews.  = 5  = 5

X-Men: Days of Future Past' Has a Clip After 'Amazing Spider-Man 2

We've confirmed with Sony Pictures that this X-Men: Days of Future Past coda will be attached to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in both the United States and the United Kingdom, but it's not clear if it will play in other international territories as well. The scene will be an action sequence following Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Havok (Lucas Till) and Toad (Evan Jonigkeit) taking on William Stryker (Josh Helman) and his military men. We're not sure why this is the scene chosen to hype the film, or why Fox and Sony have decided to team-up like this, but I guess it's cool?

If anything, maybe this is a sign of potential future collaboration that will allow Marvel's comic book characters to crossover into other studio's Marvel franchises eventually. After all, we know that Marvel and Sony tried to collaborate on an easter egg that would have seen the new Oscorp tower in the Manhattan skyline in The Avengers, but scheduling of when the visual effects needed to be done didn't work out. It would be cool if the new Stark Tower (or Avengers Tower now?) popped up in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but we don't know if that's even possible. Anyway, make sure you stay after the credits of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 when it hits theaters May 2nd if you want to see this X-Men: Days of Future Past teaser clip.

Third and final trailer  Looks great but it has a few spoilers so don't watch if you aren't prepared to have a lot of the plot spelled out.

Stephen Colbert To Replace David Letterman On Late Show

Colbert to succeed Letterman as host of "The Late Show"

I am torn.  He will reach more households but I am not sure his "stichik" will work as well on a non-cable network.

I work Time Warner and I am sending a team to cut off your dick as soon as you go to sleep.  Stock up on that coffee because we are watching...

Nah, seriously great for you.  I have been cableless for a few years and I have found that OTA broadcasts really cover the gaps ok.

so my facebook feed is lighting up with rumors that Ben Affleck has quit/fired as Batman and that Idris Elba has been tap as the replacement

I've googled, but everything seems to be rumor at the point.  Anyone has anything concrete?

LOL.  That would be just dumb.  Not that I don't like Idris but it would piss comic book fans off even more than Affleck.

Looks neat.  Nothing here for me since I have a PS3 and Wii U so my streaming needs are pretty covered.  And actually the PS3 does better because it can stream rippped content from my local PC.

KoToR isn't long enough?  icon_eek

I just looked at my purchased games - some great standouts

Star Horizon
The Room 1 & 2  - great puzzles.
Costume Quest - lighthearted RPG
Golden Trails 1 & 2 - nice HOGs without horror theme.  Sometimes it feels like all hidden object games are horror stories.  These are not and they are fun
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 - hey you wanted more than KoToR!
My Kingdom for the Princess 1, 2, or 3 - nice time management games
Galaxy on Fire 1 & 2 - great space games
Aralon: Swort and Shadow - as close to the Elder Scrolls as you can get on iOS
Crux - great crossword app.  Download a few months of crosswords and you will be set!

I don't.  I just sell as an individual.  I am not a huge seller - maybe 25 items a year.

Minecraft Creator Halts Plans For Oculus Version Following Facebook Acquisition

"Not one hour after the announcement of the the acquisition of Oculus Rift by Facebook yesterday, Markus 'Notch' Persson has announced that he has ceased all discussions about bringing it to Oculus Rift. 'I don't want to work with social, I want to work with games. ... Facebook is not a company of grass-roots tech enthusiasts. Facebook is not a game tech company. Facebook has a history of caring about building user numbers, and nothing but building user numbers. People have made games for Facebook platforms before, and while it worked great for a while, they were stuck in a very unfortunate position when Facebook eventually changed the platform to better fit the social experience they were trying to build.' Persson has stated that he made this decision despite initially investing $10,000 in Oculus' Kickstarter."

The HD graphics are absolutely gorgeous, although the characters still have that telltale stiff and awkward movement that comes with PS2 games.

The thing that struck me, and I admit it is petty, is that Tidus' necklace is part of the torso model.  I know it seems silly but to have it quite clearly attached made it look odd.  I guess I am spoiled.

Still loving the game though.

Oddly I just rewatched Ep 1 with my kids because I figured they were old enough now and it is pretty tame really...

Anyway I would say the 2 new Treks certainly had more ... weight but less grandeur.  I think of Star Wars as a grand epic and the two Treks didn't feel that way at all they felt very tiny really.  You see a few different races but it seems to only take 10-15 minutes to get from Earth to Kronos (I am sure a Trekkie will say I spelled it wrong) and you never get a sense of any Klingon culture.  They do feel like just action flicks.  Star Wars doesn't feel that way to me.  It always felt like there was something bigger about it.

But JJ Abrams vs. George Lucas

I think Alias was a great show but I found Star Trek: Into Darkness terrible and Star Trek no much better.
37  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: Star Wars Episode VII Director Revealed on: March 18, 2014, 07:26:09 PM
I have seen this posted on most entertainment news sites and I think it is neat but I am more surprised by how excited people are for any scrap of news.  Don't get me wrong, I am interested in the film but I remember watching the leaked trailer for Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and being so excited for it...then actually seeing it.  I think it scared me because I just can't believe this will be a great movie.  I hope to be wrong but I think I will just have to wait.

I sell almost everything via Amazon anymore.  Ebay was just not working well.  I had a few people cancel after winning the auction, etc.   I have been very happy with it so far.  It is easy and I seem to sell more.
