Are you going to have a ELOG sticky or some form of a game listing thread here?
1643  Non-Gaming / Trading Forum / Now I'm Confused on: May 04, 2004, 01:11:57 PM
Who knows...maybe once the feedback is automated over here everyone will like it so much they start using it at GG too.  I really would prefer maintaining one feedback number since I'll be doing trades in both forums.  Time will tell I guess.

1646  Non-Gaming / Steals and Deals / EBGames trade in deal this month - $10 extra per 3 games on: May 04, 2004, 01:03:19 PM
The "deal" runs May 2nd - 29th.  So it's basically an extra ten dollars credit for every three games traded in...but there are no restrictions on types of games.  These are always good times to clear out the ancient sports titles they never normally take and no one else wants.

"Games trade-in must be 3 different titles. Boxes and instructions are required. Cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Some customers may be responsible for sales tax. Not valid at EBGames.com Full games only; no demo discs accepted. Offer valid from May 2, 2004 through May 29, 2004. See slaes associates for complte details."
1647  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / what will sell the Xbox2? on: May 04, 2004, 12:57:15 PM
I don't know...one benefit of no HD and no backwards compatibility would be that it could be much smaller and quieter.  I think a major complaint in the beginning anyway was the size and weight of the box.

I don't see it being a viable media center though without a hard drive...how else can you have something like TiVo without a LOT of space available...much less general multimedia and downloading.  Flash memory is going to be too expensive compared to hard drives a year from now...I mean I can go out and buy 7200rpm 80GB drives for less than $80 now.  But I'm still paying $40 for an 128MB compact flash.
