My impression is that it works really well with the touch interface. Back in 1998 the interface was a bit clunky even with a mouse. The touch interface makes it a little less clunky imo.
That being said, it is Baldur's Gate. The game is the same (with a few extra joinable npcs.) Finally something with depth to play on an iPad.

It would be really difficult to get a good picture since it isn't all that noticeable. In fact I used it for a while afterwards without noticing.
The crack is mostly in the bottom corner and then goes along the short edge by the camera about 1/2 cm into the viewable area.
Perhaps a screen protector would be a good idea to kinda hold things together and keep the crack from spreading?

Gaming / Portable Gaming & Apps / IPad Repair?
|
on: February 12, 2012, 06:00:42 PM

My 8-year-old wasn't careful enough and now there is a crack along one side of my iPad. My heart is torn because she feels awful and is avoiding me. I forgive her. The hurt of the broken iPad along with the hurt she feels is making it a rough day. It still works, although I can feel the roughness along the cracks. I did some googling to figure out how much it would be to repair. Doesn't look good at this point. I see that many people were able to exchange them in the past at an Apple store, but they don't seem to do that anymore. Other places are claiming $400+ to repair. Anyone with experience in this? Is it likely that I could just live with it? Thanks.

Is the Walmart deal in-store only? Will Sam's Club also have this deal?
Looks like the sale starts today and is in store only. I don't know about Sam's Club.

I watched all 7 seasons in a row a year ago. Never had the time to watch it when it was originally on TV. I enjoyed it more than any other Star Trek by far.
Right now I'm watching Voyager from start to finish and am currently in season 6. Not as good, but it has been enjoyable.

A dropped object will continue to accelerate until it reaches terminal velocity. At terminal velocity the friction of the object with the air molecules (air resistance) is enough to stop the object from accelerating.

I did it a couple of years ago. If you can understand and follow the directions posted online, it is very doable. I used it quite a bit for a few years, but now a days I use a mythtv box.

It does make more sense, but then the stuff that makes it makes sense needs to be made sense of. The polar bear is explained later on, however.
Definitely stick it out. After the first couple of seasons, it really takes off.

I've only played it for about three hours so far, but I'm impressed. The feel is much more Icewind Dalish than any of the previous NWN campaigns. The overland map is really very cool, even though I didn't expect it to be.
Probably the most exciting thing for me is how I can be more 'strategic' in encounters. That's what really bugged me the most with both NWNs so far. The placement of your pcs is really important in a lot of the encounters I've had and the computer is much more challenging than in the past.

My dad has the vertical loops. Once you get down fifteen feet or so the temperature stays rather consistent. The only reason the wells are drilled that deep is to increase surface area.

It is in near mint shape, since I only played it a couple of times. Just not my cup of tea. I was a gold trader back in the GG era and a super spectacular trader at OO, although I don't remember my feedback total.
I'm mostly interested in Mario Kart for the Wii, but would be interested in other trade offers too. (I can paypal to make things even either way.)
I also have a Gainward 4200 AGP card for trade if anyone is interested.
