I'm fat enough that I'd have to buy two seats if I wanted to fly. I think it would be just as well to go first class. Then again with all the hassles of flying now a days I'll give you all a break and not fly at all. And I'm sorry gellar doesn't like me.

I just made a few calls, and all my relatives are still alive...does that mean we are family now? ;-)
I have a brother?

I was thinking in terms of before their military started going downhill, say 200AD. They had lost battles of course but not to the forest ambush slaughter they showed in the previews. Hadrian was their last good military emperor but the Empire was already slipping by then. And from the armor the Legionaries were wearing (in the preview) it would have been from around 100-200AD. After that they started with different armor and different tactics because of the diffusion of the army by the different races/peoples. The red headed woman leading the battles did remind me of Boadicea tho, and she ended up losing.

Actually I believe in reincarnation and during one of my regression sessions I found out I was a Viking. I may have slaughtered your relatives or I might have been one of them.

It was unusual to live with ones parents after leaving to go to collage or a job or the military when i was that age. Now a days tho I think it's pretty common. I would think it would be awkward to pick up a girl and take her to your folk's home tho. When my dad died I had been living by myself ever since I got out of the service (I was in my late 30s). My mother convinced to come back (from New Orleans up here to Arkansas) and live with her. It was probably good for her but it was hell for me. After about a year I moved into my own apartment. We got along great after that. Anyrate with your family's history I think it would probably be okay to go back to living with them but I think you'd be happier on your own.

Yeh, they call them Admiralties. So it helps to keep a lot of your conquests along the sea. I've got 4 in this game and actually have some exotic goods and some kingdom advantages. So much of the game isn't explained in the manual but in the Royal Library in the game. Go Norway!

Ah okay. Thanks! The way I play getting elected emperor is out of the question tho. I'm usually closer to the most hated. Haha! Yeah, me too. Did they ever fix the bug which allowed you to sue for a white peace immediately after someone declaring war on you? Kinda silly, that. DBT, do you do the tactical battle stuff? The new 1.05 eliminates that bug and takes away the drm so there's no need for the cd once it's installed. And no, I'm lousy at the real time combat so I just do the auto resolve. And I finally figured out how to import the exotic goods.

In the winter time the water temp is in the 50s (F) and you need a wetsuit. In the summer it's in the mid 70s. I'd say it starts getting a little too cold around Santa Barbara. By Frisco you have to be nuts to go in without a wetsuit.

As a former surfer of the 60s I have to disagree with you about California beaches. Plenty of warm water and good surf. Plenty of good looking girls in bikinis and warm days and nights. I grew up in Huntington Beach. East coast and Gulf beaches ain't worth a hoot tho and the northwest water is too damn cold.

Yeh, I just play until I've conquered all my goals and then some and then start off with a different country. If I could just have unlimited knights I would go for conquering all of the map.

I've been trying to play this game for years and couldn't quite grasp it. I'm finally starting to get a handle on things except for one thing.............what's my overall goal? I mean I can carve me out a pretty good niche but then what. Sit on it and try improving relations with everybody? Conquer just a little bit more? Usually when I stop my aggressive stance it's because I've come across some major player in my way and I don't want to go to war with him. How do you win the game?

Hogeye Arkansas. We're just non stop fun around here. Should have seen me running around to day being chased by my donkey who wanted to bite me on the ass. An ass to ass confrontation.
You never go ass to ass. I'd get rid of him if he wasn't house trained. Making the donkey door for him tho put a pretty big hole in the door.

I thought they were "I am sorry" to one's wife. In other news they modified the damage to my wife's teeth to something over $17,000. Cash out of my pocket. I feel your pain.

When I was looking for the answer today I picked up a nasty virus called Internet Security 2010. Spent most of the afternoon figuring out how to get rid of it. I think I got it at that site when it opened a video player window. Fortunately removal was pretty easy once I figured out what was going on. I have heard that the number one way to pick up a trojan or virus in not porn but music lyrics. Music lyrics? My Spy Sweeper has stopped many a one when I have gone to music lyric sites.
