Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi. My own counsel will I keep on who is to be trained. A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing

Don't fail me again, Admiral.

He will join us or die, my master.

and, of course:

Darth Vader: Luke, you do not yet realize your importance. You have only begun to discover your power. Join me, and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy.
Luke: I'll never join you!
Darth Vader: If you only knew the power of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.
Luke: He told me enough! He told me *you* killed him!
Spoiler for Hiden:
Darth Vader: No. *I* am your father.
Luke: No. No. That's not true. That's impossible!
Darth Vader: Search your feelings, you *know* it to be true!
Luke: [anguished] No! No!

I had a package shipped via Global Express Mail to an address in Switzerland. I regularly ship to Western Europe, and Switzerland i've shipped to many times.

The order was just over $640-US. I received a chargeback under the claims of fraud. I tracked the order -- it was delivered in INDONESIA! The USPS was equally curious how the package was destined for Switzerland but was "rerouted" to Indonesia.

She loves horror movies and monster movies.
She is well-adjusted and honor roll in school.

She understands the difference between fantasy and reality.

Doesn't mean she *needs* to see it, though. Just that she could if she expressed an interest in it.

Disturbing.

I'm sure my 8 yr old would have nightmares.
I know my 10yr old Daughter could handle it.
I believe my Autistic Sixteen Yd Old would have nightmares.

It's less about actual age and what your kids can handle.

I don't think I'd want to finish with those things staring at me.

You know, i had that exact same thought when they introduced his character.   icon_confused

You could almost blame Crisis on Infinite Earth.

But there were (was) (are) a Son.

1) The bike was cool and all, but the part where he drove it basically up the wall and did the insta-flip was a little over-the-top. It really seemed out of character for the tone the rest of the movie makes as far as gadgetry and what-not.

They also didn't really tie up the loose strings of that employee who had figured out that Bruce Wayne was Batman.  Unless they figured that after Wayne crashes his car the guy is so thankful he decides not to squeal.

I was impressed the guy went ahead after the "warning" Lucius gave him...

Seriously if one more reviewer says "it's too long" about any movie I'm going to go on a fucking rampage. That's as dumb as saying "they gave me an extra fifteen minutes of entertainment for my ten bucks... HOW DARE THEY!" I don't get it.

You got 7 doughnuts for the price of 6. Be happy already.

Often times that 7th donut is totally unnecessary and may cause you to vomit.

Or it's fifteen more minutes of Kevin Costner.

Which often produces the same effect.

It's "broccoli" in English, but it's pronounced differently than it is in Denmark.  In the UK they pronounce it "brah-COH-lee," whereas in America we say "BROCH-oh-lai."

occasionally I'll forget a word, but it's not always the same thing.  of course it'll drive me crazy until I figure out what it is.

as for brocolli, just bookmark this site.  (can't remember, audio may be NSFW but no audio at work)

My parents live on a Lake and the local Marina puts on the fireworks show every year (and funny, you can see at least 3 other shows in the distance around, metroparks etc).

I have loved sitting by the water watching the show for the last 20+ years.

If we're driving on the highway around the 4th and see one, we'll pull over and watch for awhile.
