I was part of an old bbs (Unix) in the local area (U of M) that had a history reaching back to the early 80s.

Twice the Classics got nuked and only those Items that had been archived by participants made it back.
Just something nostalgic about Late Night Ramblings and Flame Feuds from an era long-gone.

I assume many people felt the same way about GG (which I was never part of)
And currently about OO. (For instance I had 3 DnD games running -well walking really, as well as a 40+ game history of WW games)

Honestly I think it is less of the community and more the scraps of Pixels that people feel attached to. Since portions of the community have washed on up on various shores.

Well, we've decided to kill Remus first, cuz I never do that and here on a brand new board I can get away with it.
If he turns out to be 12 then I'll meet up with him at the bar later and put Austin on IM on my phone so we can discuss stuff.
If he dies, oh well.
Cc: Austin, Lassr

I put in back on, since when I have finished my tasty beverage I will end up with alternate uses for the bottle.

20 oz? I'm going to stuff minor scraps of skin peeled from my heels in it and if I find an ant I'll scoop him into the realm of Dead Skin. Good for hours of entertainment (I am Legend Ant Farm)

1 liter? Usually I turn a pair of these into water bottles for the nighttime parchquench.
Or extended roadtrip piss bottles.
Make sure to avoiding mixing those up (professional driver on closed course. Do Not Attempt)

2 liter? Perfect size for Koolaid or Crystal Light

Dang it, I do that all the time too, but I usually catch it.  I've come to rely too much on the cool spell checker.  When will they invent the "Insert Word You Meant" button???

LordMortis would break that program within the first week

Heroscape

Get Magic the Gathering Theme Decks (preconstructed)

Cooperative: Lord of the Rings http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/823

All of the above can expand into more than 2 players.

Hera and Zeus is a good one for just 2 players

Heh. Back when Urza's Saga came out, I was the assistant manager at a store where my buddy was the manager.

We would go in together on the sat/sun of PTQs and pre-releases to get the paperwork etc done so neither of us got stuck missing the tournament.

ah ya pansies.

Part of the massive greatitude awesomeville that is multi-WW activity is trying to maintain the sense of who you are in which game at the same time and responding into multiple-tab responses at the same time without losing control of who you are...

Well I figured it would be rude to just kill all your characters (across 3 games)

This way nobody figures out it was me.

383  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: GTville III: Attack of the Clones! (simple WW game SIGN UP) on: May 06, 2008, 01:03:49 PM
Ah the breath of freedom!

Concurrent WW games in the EBG, er, Off-Topic forum to gather attention!
Soon the Non-WW crowd will complain of the Massive Resource Drain that three WW games take by bumping to the top of the page repeatedly...

All is proceeding according to my plan, and soon you shall join your rebel friends on the moon of... what?

Oh, uh.

I'll try him again if this game doesn't get filled.

Actually if you want a game where taking a dump is indeed an important part of gameplay, there are many versions of the Sims out there.

Would I play a game where you can get handjobs and blowjobs (and tigers oh my) as part of gameplay? (assuming the health recovery is intact)

Sure.

Would I want to explain it to my wife?

No.

And that right there is enough to be embarrassed over.

390  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: OO off line for a short time on: April 30, 2008, 04:31:26 PM

And amazingly, it only took me three weeks to find them.

One site to rule them all
One site to find them them
One site to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

(though I do appreciate that my lecherous behavior toward another mans wife has preceded me)
