I was part of an old bbs (Unix) in the local area (U of M) that had a history reaching back to the early 80s.

Twice the Classics got nuked and only those Items that had been archived by participants made it back.
Just something nostalgic about Late Night Ramblings and Flame Feuds from an era long-gone.

I assume many people felt the same way about GG (which I was never part of)
And currently about OO. (For instance I had 3 DnD games running -well walking really, as well as a 40+ game history of WW games)

Honestly I think it is less of the community and more the scraps of Pixels that people feel attached to. Since portions of the community have washed on up on various shores.

Well, we've decided to kill Remus first, cuz I never do that and here on a brand new board I can get away with it.
If he turns out to be 12 then I'll meet up with him at the bar later and put Austin on IM on my phone so we can discuss stuff.

1 liter? Usually I turn a pair of these into water bottles for the nighttime parchquench.
Or extended roadtrip piss bottles.

Heh. Back when Urza's Saga came out, I was the assistant manager at a store where my buddy was the manager.

Actually if you want a game where taking a dump is indeed an important part of gameplay, there are many versions of the Sims out there.
