They are wrapping without showing us Uncharted 4?  The hell, Sony?

I thought the highlight reel was it....

Very little Morpheous stuff as well.

New gameplay of No Man's Sky

Showing Lots of stars in a massive galaxy.  Scanning after launching into a unknown star lights up a bunch of points of interest on your display.

Fully destructible environments, trading, fighting, exploring mentioned.

Gameplay

This just does not look fun to me

Agreed.  Too big an area so how can you get anywhere or find anyone?
167  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: E3 2015 on: June 16, 2015, 01:19:56 AM
Post Apocalyptic game looking good.  Sony showing lots of gameplay so far, nice.

Finally.  They have finally shown us The Last Guardian, and gameplay too instead of just a cinematic.

Looks a lot like Shadow of the Colossus in terms of motion and interaction between boy and the Griffin.

Out 2016
Gameplay trailer otw

Add in a bit of ICO too.

Good start with South Park and good finish with Ghost Recon but that was a messy middle.  You are up Sony!  Let's see some Morpheous action.

Totally agree. At least Aisha Tyler made it entertaining.

She did a good job of rolling with the punches when things got a bit off track.  I hope Ubi continues to bring her in to host these things but if she can't make it then Ms. Forget can step in and grace my screen anytime!

So, a marginally better presentation compared to EA. Ubi showed more actual gameplay but they still were heavy on the prerendered video. That's the way E3 is evolving now I guess.

Sony is up next. I have low expectations based on what I've see so far today.

I actually liked some of the MS stuff (BC with 360 stuff, Rare collection, pirate game etc.) but EA and Ubi didn't impress at all.  I still have hope that Sony can bring some heat to finish off the day, VR should make some sort of appearance I guess.  Will Sony rethink their BC streaming service and put it out for free after MS did what they did earlier?

No footage of tower climbing?  Disappointing AssCred.
176  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: E3 2015 on: June 15, 2015, 10:59:50 PM
Trackmania looked alright but I'd probably play Trials more than it. VR mode could be cool.

My god Ubi show gameplay at least once in awhile!

Lol, it's teetering on the edge of being entertaining and a flaming train wreck.

And what would another year be without another Just Dance game, with Jason Derulo cameo! SWOON!

I'm going train wreck at this point and the flames aren't far behind!

I guess Unravel looked like fun.  Not enough substantive footage of Mass Effect to feel any hype for it.  EA Sports zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz snirk wha? No interest in EA sports titles and nothing looked revolutionary.
184  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: E3 2015 on: June 15, 2015, 09:17:46 PM
I have to admit it... I don't like Star Wars anymore so whatever EA I didn't see much that would get my money.

The W10 XB1 cross abilities (i.e. making Fallout 4 mods on the computer that can be used in XB1 version) seem like it opens a lot of things up.

I love Cuphead's aesthetics. This is the kind of stuff I watch Microsoft's conferences for.

They showed this at last year's E3.  I was psyched about it then.  I hope the time has made for a super-polished game.

Man, I can't believe the BC stuff!  I'm sitting out the conferences this year.  Was there mention of pricing for this or anything?  Or is it just available for free if you already own the game?  Playstation Now was out of the gate really early, but their pricing model is ridiculous.  Any word on save games transferring forward?

Free

I'll get that new controller for sure.  Tomb Raider looked fine and Forza always trips my interest and they had weather this time.
190  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: E3 2015 on: June 15, 2015, 06:04:32 PM
Decent pressed from MS, Sea of Thieves look like something I'd like to play.  Forza looked fine, wonder how it would control with the new controller.

I do wish exploring resulted in more stuff like the hint text says it does.  So far I get a little exp and a few caps.  Waiting for babies to drop so I can build some other room, I need at least one more person to unlock the room.  Seems ok so far.
199  Gaming / Portable Gaming & Apps / Re: Fallout Shelter on: June 15, 2015, 07:16:33 AM
Have yet to try it out but the Bethesda press conference seemed to state it was not a FtP style game?  Surprised to see the timer thing mentioned.

Waiting for the app to show up in the store, looks fun from the press conference.
