Debating on getting Rebel Galaxy or waiting for the XB1 version.  I think at the moment I'll wait for the XB1 to arrive and remain grinding along in Destiny on the way to 300 light (at 282 now but don't actually think I'll get much higher before Halo 5 arrives, still having fun at the Taken King stuff even playing solo.)

Eh, apple charges $200 to go from a 128GB ssd to a 256GB model.

So, for an extra $100, you also get another 4 gig of ram.

Sounds like they are pretty much in line.

Apple also charges $100 for the pencil/wand/whatever it is that I think comes with the Surface.

The Surface Book looks cool but thankfully I don't need a new laptop/tablet at the moment.  I'm guessing you would want to get the i7 processor and those start at $2099.

....and my favorite new show of the season: QUANTICO!

It may not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it the most of all the new stuff I've tried so far.  It's an interesting mix of Grey's Anatomy, 24 and How to Get Away with Murder.  Most importantly, pretty much every one in the main cast is hot lol.  Throw in some sexy stuff, a bit of mystery/intrigue, play with the flash forward, add plot twists, betrayal, and you've got a pretty fun mix.

It is oh so close for me, I really like it but it has far too many tropes at the moment.  But yes the (female) lead is very hot (I have a weakness for long black hair) and I like the story possibilities.

Cowboys may win this game, but the sloppiness is just sad. So many stupid mistakes. And without Romo and Bryant who knows what will happen. Defense has been the only bright spot.

RGIII to the Cowboys?  Bummer about the injuries, I admit I've had fun teasing my co-worker about Romo and his ability to lose big games but I don't want him out of play.

Quantico will get a test run along with Supergirl, hope they are well done.  I also like sitcom stuff so I'll look at The Grinder with Rob Lowe and Fred Savage.  For returning shows I'm looking forward to Brooklyn 99, Fresh off the Boat and The Goldbergs, Big Bang Theory is on the fence but I'll probably watch.  Oh and how could I forget The Muppets, I really hope that one hits.

Just in time for football season my DirecTv receiver seems to have thrown in the towel.  I've been thinking about cutting the cord (or dish in this case) recently so maybe I'll take this as a sign and a gift not to have to watch the 49'ers season.  The wife may have other ideas though.

I cut the cord last November, it's been awesome.  Built my own HTPC.  Going to a friends place to watch the 49ers game due to it being on ESPN.  But that's only 1 game this whole season I can't watch

Damn it it appears cord cutting isn't happening today.  I pulled the power on the receiver and the magic cable SVM box for 10 minutes and now it all appears to work.

Back at this on the PC after a very long break, I think I played it last just after Reaper came out and didn't even finish the new Act back then.  I have been playing on the XB1 and like it quite a bit so decided to see what Adventure Mode was all about.  Pretty fun doing the quests and getting some unexpected drops (much more rare and legendary items than I saw playing XB1 campaign mode).  Started a Monk having never played on before and of course Blizzard has made him fun to play as I'm sure all of them are.  One night of adventure on hard got me up to lvl 32 and I'm happy with that, I guess I could join a pub game to increase the exp but didn't feel up to it tonight.

Did one rift to see what it was and had good fun with that too, sooooo many treasure goblins to kill.

Watched some PS4 beta gameplay and it just reinforces my outness for COD's moving forward.  I haven't seen any crazy movement like AW had but the pace of the game is just too fast for me these days.  Some of the movement reminded me of Destiny with added Titanfall wall running and that seemed fine but the extremely quick death time once you get shot at spoils any fun I think I might have.  The two maps I've seen look pretty good.

Except for GameSpot, which gave it a 7/10. However, their reviewer seemed to have a MAJOR gripe with the abundance of Batmobile sequences. The other really high reviews I read mentioned this, but didn't dock points for it.

ya and that guy who reviews is usually extreme in his reviews.  I know 7 isn't a extreme bad scores, but like YK mentioned his major gripe is the batmobile's overuse.  And that warrants a mediocre score....

When I saw that score in comparison with the other scores, my first thought was: "I bet it was reviewed by Kevin VanOrd." And wouldn't you know... He's very cynical about most games these days, and has a hard time liking them. His scores tend to be outliers.

Having said that, the constant mentions of too many tank sequences in the game from so many reviewers aren't surprising, but disappointing nonetheless. The Batmobile sequences never looked appealing, from the first time the game was revealed. That the game is littered with sequences where you have to use it is a shame, because it might seem like they tried to innovate needlessly here.

Didn't he give Witcher 3 a very rare 10?

Yes, he did.

To be honest I'd go 9.5 due to non game stopping bugs (for me).  Love the game but can't agree it is perfect.

Jon Snow and Stannis

Spoiler for Hiden:
What was the point of all the "real lineage" of jon snow stuff if he just bites it?  Also, what's with the Stannis death scene?  Why the cut away.  Is he or isn't he?  I thought he was dead and they showed what they needed to.  What about you guys?

Spoiler for Hiden:
if nothing else we may get hot Kingslayer on Kingslayer action if Jamie and Brieanna get together.  Stannis is dead, at least that is my opinion.  Jon? No clue.

Shenmue is a kick starter that Sony distanced themselves from during its introduction.  FF7 is a remake so what is the big deal with that?  Last Guardian seemed nice enough but what do we know about it beyond a bit of gameplay?  What Sony exclusives are landing in 2015?  What is Sony rolling out this year other than a few exclusive early beta access and maps that isn't on the PC or XB1?  Too be fair I can't remember what the XB1 has either but most of what I got from Sony was more see you next year stuff and nothing close to release.  In no way do I see it as any form of landslide.

Totally agree. At least Aisha Tyler made it entertaining.

She did a good job of rolling with the punches when things got a bit off track.  I hope Ubi continues to bring her in to host these things but if she can't make it then Ms. Forget can step in and grace my screen anytime!

So, a marginally better presentation compared to EA. Ubi showed more actual gameplay but they still were heavy on the prerendered video. That's the way E3 is evolving now I guess.

Sony is up next. I have low expectations based on what I've see so far today.

I actually liked some of the MS stuff (BC with 360 stuff, Rare collection, pirate game etc.) but EA and Ubi didn't impress at all.  I still have hope that Sony can bring some heat to finish off the day, VR should make some sort of appearance I guess.  Will Sony rethink their BC streaming service and put it out for free after MS did what they did earlier?
