Let's see. Change the name of the city, the name of the girlfriend (sorta), invent a (living) mother and sister, make a best friend out of what /may/ be his arch-nemesis (for now, that is)....oh, and drop the 'Green'. yeah, this looks like a /quality/ show.

What do you guys think are the chances that I'll be able to land the CE at best buy tomorrow?
Best Bet: Fry's tonight at Midnight. Or Wal-Mart, same time.

I am about to begin my re-read of the Wheel of Time to end with A Memory of Light (book 14, estimated to have an August 2012 release).
yeah, I have a feeling Wheel of Time will take up a lot of my reading time for 2012. I cannot think of anything else I'm really looking forward to, but I also have the Malazan series waiting to be read also. LOL, looked at Brian Sanderson's blog and found this. [edit] according to a post on Dragonmount, he was listening to this song while doing the final scene; potential spoiler material there (I'm not familiar with the game it's from so I don't know what happened when it played).

What it means is that no matter what you chose, Conrad Verner will think you pulled a gun on him in ME1 and the Asari Consort will be disgraced. So you want to edit the ME1 save file before importing to ME2.
Oddly enough, I didn't even find Conrad in ME2, and I got a letter from the Asari Consort thanking me. So I'm not sure if this is still an issue.

Question is, is it going to be about Pym, or the new 'Irredeemable' Ant Man (who is amusing as hell, really)?

I'm not replacingr anything right now. Well I need to talk to ASUS about replacing my motherboard....again....because the freaking USB ports keep cutting out.
Outside of that, I'm going to get a SSD when Windows 8 rolls out. My CPU is an Intel i5 (2500k) and my GPU is Geforce 460 GTX, so I'm fairly solid there.

You'll level 1-8 before you see the Skeleton King. Probably to 9, maybe 10 if you do the side quests and such. So yeah, first 10 levels are cake. I figure as long as you're moving forward you'll probably be doing fine for a while after that also. Figure level 30ish by the end of main game?

The achievements get you banner options which carry over to the main game, yes. I'll only have played Act 1 up to the Skeleton King, so it's not like I"m spoiling huge chunks of the game.

Yup. I'm gonna be on most of the weekend grinding. Here's what I've got left:
Raise Blacksmith to level 4: Very Easy Raise Monk to Level 13 (from 9): Easy Create Barbarian, Beat Game, Become Level 13: Somewhat Easy and time-consuming. Create Demon Hunter, Beat Game, Become Level 13: Somewhat Easy and time-consuming. Raise 5 classes from the dead: Easy but insanely time-consuming (finding someone to do it, after all).

If anyone is still in the closed beta, I need people for 2 things.
1) Jar of Souls: I can't find anyone that's doing part 3 publicly.
2) Rez people: Again, can't find people for this achievement.

Coop is fucking insane. WAVES of monsters, so there's a lot less tendency to 'run around and see what you find' and more 'holy shit stay close so we don't DIE'.

Is there a list somewhere of all of them in (world) chronological order?
this might be what you're looking for. it's got them by author, release date, series, title or chronological order in Realm years which also breaks it down into when a particular novel starts and ends (if it spans several years) and when short stories take place. Thanks. I'm almost done with the Netherim trilogy right now.
