I've been fine with Steam taking away my ability to sell my PC games because A) the service has worked so well for me, and B) there are so many good sales that I still feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Occasionally I do pay a full $50 or $60 for a Steam game, but that wouldn't be the case if it weren't for A & B.
If Sony can give me A & B, I might be on board.
I'd love Steam (and Sony/MS) to give me the ability to sell my digital licenses to someone else. There's even a way to do it so that the 'publisher' and developer get paid. Let's say I have Assassin's Creed 3. It's still $50+ online, so I want to sell my Steam license for $25. I sell it, which removes the game from my Steam library (removing the license) and the new person gets it. Take a percentage off the top (say 20-25%) with a portion going to Steam and a portion going to the publisher/developer. Sure, they gripe because they're not getting $60 per game 'sold', but that's ignoring the fact that people are generally cheap, and want things as cheaply as possible (one of the reasons for piracy, of course). I don't see this ever happening, but it would be a glorious day.

A digital only model will not work in the US at this point or anytime in the next 3 years. The reason is simple, there is a large percentage of the US population that don't have access to internet service that is fast enough to make the download option more appealing than the disc based option. Until high speed internet is widely available to most of the population this will not change.
Heck I still don't have a Netflix subscription because I have no way of streaming the service at a fast enough rate.
The one exception for me is Steam. I can put up with Downloading a 20 gig game at 120k per second when the game is 75% off.
Try the next 10-20 or more years. Until something happens to cause the major cable and phone companies to go nationwide with fiber, we're going to have 'below-average' broadband compared to much of the rest of the developed world. Hell, they're trying to talk people into usage-based billing, which is all kinds of backwards (considering Australia, the bastion of this, is slowly transitioning AWAY from it). The companies aren't willing to spend to develop their networks other than in dribs and drabs (DOCSIS 3.0 came out over six years ago, and still isn't available in a large percentage of the country). Wall Street (investors) applies enormous pressure to keep profit margins high and costs (investments in actually upgrading equipment and networks) low. It's a very short-sighted view, and they're certainly not interested in changing it. Nor, apparently, is the government. C'mon, Google. Scare the crap out of everyone to push us all forward!

I haven't watched the video (and can't right now, I'm at work), but here is my opinion (for what very little it's worth).
It's AO. This is bad simply because these games can't ... well, be bought anywhere other than J-List and a few sites like that (yeah, all hentai).
However, I have a personal disbelief in the ESRB in what considers 'M' and 'AO', given the amount of violence that's in our games. Not that I mind violence, mind you, but I do mind the double-standard in our society as regards sex vs. violence. A bare boob is horrible, but blowing holes in people, man that's just a-ok with us!
I say use your best judgement, Ron. Watch as much preview info as you can, and see if it's actually a worthwhile game...or if it's just a cheap grab at a sex-sim. If it's worthwhile, review it. If it's a cheap sex-sim thing..meh.
That said, I'd love if the industry (both sides, game making and game reviewing) could have an actual mature way of handling relationships and sex in games without degenerating to 'hurr hurr' behavior like they're thirteen year olds.

Okay, so I'm doing more research and I've come up with the following beds I'd like:
Simmons BeautyRest Warrenton Pillow Top: $1299 at Mattress Firm Sealy Posturepedic Irresistible EPT: Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe: $3249 at Mattress Firm Hampton Rhodes (Fuzzy Photo, 3 words), something 'Pillow Top
Where else should I look for beds? Id really love the Tempurpedic but there's no way I can float $3k.
Also, I want to get a bed frame, preferably one that goes to the floor. I found Ikea at about $200-250, any other ideas?

My backlog is so immense I'm self-imposing a $20 rule. I stay pretty close to it, usually. The last 2 games I spent more than this on are Guild Wars 2 and Borderlands 2 (both of which I'm playing right now). I may spend $25 for Dishonored on Friday but everything else will be $20 or less.

Anyone play this? I need tips on a few things involving Magic, including how to build a deck. I'm doing the newbie thing right now but any assistance is welcome. I haven't played in about fifteen years.

I'm looking at buying a queen-sized bed early next year. I need something relatively soft (a test at a Sleep Number store puts me at about a 40), but I don't want to spend a ton of money. I'm looking in the $800-1200 range.
Anyone have any good places for me to start?

Compared to last year?
No. No we're not.
Everyone on our schedule is very beatable with the stiffest challenges being the Packers (at home, very beatable), the Ravens (also at home and also very beatable since they only scored 6 against KC) and the Patriots (at NE, going to be very tough).

The problem with time travel is that most people try to view it as one timeline. The moment someone travels back in time, they create a new timeline (Marvel was always really good about that one). So you have the 'main timeline' which is in the present. Then you have Alternate Timeline A with and then Alternate Timeline A2 where Don't you love time travel?

Up next: New York Jets and Monday Night Football.
What, no Revis?
What, no Santonio Holmes?
What, you can't stop the run?
What, your offensive line has more holes than a block of swiss?
Oh, man, this could get FUN.
TEBOW!! TEBOW!! Should be fun this week in talk sports. Put 'em both in at the same time! Watt's a hungry, growing boy!

I love watching the Texans this year. I mean, I know we haven't /really/ had a tough game yet (and likely won't until....the Packers? the Jets were always tough on us, but now with Sanchez playing horribly and Revis gone for the season?).
It's almost like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. And not wanting to jinx it.
GO TEXANS.

That's my point. Both John Carter /and/ Starship Troopers would have been fine if they weren't based on the books.
Anyway, to those who like it, that's fine. I almost couldn't finish the movie, and the only reason I still have the BD is laziness.

My issue with the movie was that they combined things from the first three books pretty much at will, including things that made no sense to the original story.
Also, the entire thing at the very beginning involving the Army and his family....really felt forced.
I was really disgusted by the movie and regret buying the blu-ray of it. To me, it's as bad an adaptation as Starship Troopers was.
