but in LeafGreen there must be around 200 capturable Pokemon - still plenty of scope for choosing to concentrate on a different squad on your second run through the game

I'm playing Sapphire and I reached the diving section a few weeks ago. it got old fast so I put the game aside for a while - I expect I'll get back to it soon and burn through that section onto more goodness.

count me in - I've been playing gameboy Pokémon games since the late 90's - all while in my 30's  I believe Pikachu can only be evolved into Raichu through use of a ThunderStone - but that may have changed in the new version (I've not played LeafGreen or FireRed yet)

so what's the verdict on Sudeki a couple of months on?
I don't care much for RPG stories. all I want is fun exploration and decent combat - should I take a look at Sudeki?

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / R&P Decision

as a long-time GG lurker I never visited the R&P forum. I was pleased when it was segregated from other discussion and I don't think the existance of an R&P section had any negative impact on the rest of the site.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga may be great for non-colorblind players, but much of the game depends on responding to red and green prompts and it it becomes virtually unplayable if you can't distinguish between the two colors.

there was a limited edition "The Three Doctors" DVD that came with a vehicle (Bessie, the 3rd Doctor's car) - and my "Trial of a TimeLord" VHS set came in a vehicle (a TARDIS-shaped tin)

is there a level cap?
if I can level up in the "training room" I'm a little concerned about maxing out my characters before finishing the game.

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / [Poll] Do you Beta Test?
|
on: October 09, 2004, 11:03:20 PM

I have in the past, but it got to be too much of an obligation so I stopped signing up for them.
I've never enjoyed playing a game after being involved in its beta testing.
