Me what with this and factorio at the same time. This plays great, something relaxed, chilled and light to play. Nice progression and plenty to do and discover.

Is it buggy or not? I'm done with XCOM 2 and not going to replay until the DLCs are out so I'm interested in this game.

Stardew Valley

You've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home?

Anyone bought it?

If it is based on how many hours I play the game then Fallout 4 is the GOTY for me. I spent over 72 hours playing the game and I'm still haven't reached Diamond City. I love the settlement. I spent almost 48 hours game time restarting several times to build the first settlement.

Windows 10 Branches Explained
Windows 10 offers several different update “branches” with different frequencies of updates. Microsoft will be supporting each of them with security updates, and they’re all intended for different types of PCs.

Current Branch: The Current Branch is the standard version of Windows 10. Everyone on this branch will receive feature updates as soon as they’re released. All Windows 10 PCs are on this branch by default, and Windows 10 Home PCs can only be on this branch.

Current Branch for Business: The Current Branch for Business is similar to the Current Branch, but feature upgrades are delayed for several months to allow for more testing. Enabling the “Defer upgrades” option will put your PC on this branch. This option is available on Windows 10 Professional, Enterprise, and Education systems.

Long Term Servicing Branch: The Long Term Servicing Branch is designed for enterprises who need rock-solid, stable software without the latest features. Enable this option and you’ll just receive security updates — no feature upgrades. This option is designed for PCs that really don’t care about new features — Microsoft says it’s for “systems powering hospital emergency rooms, air traffic control towers, financial trading systems, [and] factory floors.” The long-term servicing branch will have a mainstream support period of five years and an extended support period of another five years, for a total of ten years of security updates. The Long Term Servicing Branch is available only on Enterprise and Education versions of Windows. Typical users can’t get these versions of Windows — they require a big volume-licensing contract.
In addition to these builds, users can opt-in to test preview builds of new features as “Windows Insiders,” just as people could test preview builds of Windows 10 before it was released.

So, should you enable Windows 10’s “Defer upgrades” option? That’s up to you. If you want to get the latest feature upgrades and Windows changes when all those Windows 10 Home users do, leave the option disabled. If you’d like to put off feature updates and changes until most testing is done — potentially to test those updates yourself if you’re part of an organization with mission-critical software — then enable the “Defer upgrades” option. Either way, you’ll only be spared the upgrade for a few months.

That's...a LOT of shortcuts.

Not really. Any regular PC user who has had his computer for a while will end up with amounts like that. Many applications add a bunch of shortcuts to your start menu, including additional tools, utilities, documentation, and the uninstaller. A single application can easily have more than a dozen shortcuts on its own.

I tend to go for minimalism. My desktop contains only the recycle bin, and my start menu tends to contain only the most important applications on my computer. The number of shortcuts I have is determined entirely by the things I have installed, not by how I use them.

Old games from also created a lot of shortcut in start menu. I had over 700 entries in Windows 8.1, I reduced that mainly by uninstalling most of my games from to get it under 512.

I played a little more but I suspect my time with the game is nearing its end.  There are too many lulls in the gameplay.  When things are happening it's fairly amusing but I keep running into spots where it stagnates.  I think perhaps the intention is that you take more risks with rushing things to get finished, so I might try that.  It seems there is little downside since generally it's just some fires get started.  Putting them out actually grants characters xp.  Of course I have no idea exactly what increased char levels really does for you.  Would have been nice if you got a point to add to SPECIAL for each level.

Minor amusement: I was semi-successful in getting my population up.  I basically had the same guy impregnate three different ladies in each of my crew quarters lol.  His happiness is pinned at 100%  Tongue

I think level give characters more health as for SPECIAL, you can raise them by training. I think I'll probably stop playing soon, the game is interesting but I don't have ios device with more than 512 MB RAM. With 512 MB RAM (ipad mini 1), the game crashes a lot and sometime it is impossible to play until I power off and turn the ipad mini back on to free up memory.

While it is interesting game, I'm not going to buy a new ipad mini just to play this game.

So far this game is very successful for Bethesda, it is now the No. 1 top grossing ios game.

Available to perorder on Steam but the price seem to be too high.

What is the price in US?

For Indonesia, normally the Steam price is using 9500 IDR = 1 USD rate which normally result with a nice discount because that is lower than the exchange rate.

Using that standard, Fallout 4 is over 80 USD so I guess they're using the actual exchange rate instead of 9500 IDR = 1 USD which come to about 60 USD.

I remember Mad Max to be a very boring movie with almost no action until near the end of the movie. Maybe I am wrong, it was a movie full of car chases and explosions and gunplay and whatnot.

Is anyone really surprised by this?

Age Of Ultron Is Getting An Extended Cut And Alternate Ending On Blu-Ray.

The news comes from Amazon UK, or rather, The Telegraph, who got it from a release issued to customers by Amazon UK. Given that director Joss Whedon’s original cut of the movie was like three and a half hours long — and has had an hour-plus of footage trimmed off — this really isn’t the most surprising of news. But it does feel weird to know that there’ll be a different ending coming later, before we’ve even see the first one.

Probably going to be a much better than the shorter version.

I think if you plan to get the DLC, then get it early. But that also depends on if you want to play with others that don't have the DLC.

25  Gaming / Portable Gaming & Apps / Re: [3DS] Fantasy Life on: October 31, 2014, 07:39:28 AM
About the DLC:

Things you get at the start:
Extra character customization
Friendship system (allows NPCs to become friends with you and fighting better)
Pet Birds and Dragons
2 new houses

Things unlocked after the main story:
A new area Origin Island with it's own story
New materials, equipment and recipes
God rank
New home and furniture
Lunares coins and the items you get from them
Level cap increased from 99 to 200
Level cap for the skills increased from 15 to 20
Stats cap increased from 50 to 100

If you get the DLC, you can't play online with people who don't get it. You also can't streetpass with people that don't get the DLC.

I love the ways they show how strong Cap is.  His powers if you don't read the comics mostly come across as "he is really fit" but this kind of shows he is a bit stronger than that.

In comics, can Hulk lift that hammer?

This game also come with a day 1 DLC for extra content (from Japanese expansion of base game) after the end of the base game which is not that bad compare to other day 1 dlc but there is this problem:

Please note:
Players who have purchased the Origin Island Expansion Pack cannot connect in multiplayer with players who have not purchased it. Multiplayer connection will only be possible with other owners of the Expansion Pack.

Depend on how multiplayer heavy this game is, that can be a problem because it split up the player base into two separate groups.

How does it work? So if your PC doesn't normally perform as well at 1440p it will perform well now? Or it literally just allows you to run at higher resolutions if your monitor doesn't support it?

Think of it as a bruteforce anti aliasing. Probably useful if you have a powerful GPU and you're playing older games that don't have good anti aliasing support.

For example if I want to ruin someone's reputation. I can create a forum account under that person's name and post some nasty racist stuffs. There is no way for that person to clean up his reputation?

I'm particularly noting that there are a number of items that you get with the Digital Deluxe edition, which we discussed above, that also come with the Season Pass. But mostly I'm more confused than ever, and that's just looking at the digital items. I mean, if I want the "iconic cap", I have to buy my copy in Europe, the Middle East, Asia or Australia  eek

Or just wait a year and we'll be able to get the complete edition with everything.

Still, as a Lego fan I really enjoyed it. I could have waited for a rental though.

I don't think it is the best kids movie ever but it is one of the best animation movies for adult.
