1  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Massive Thief 3 tweak and fix list on: October 26, 2004, 04:24:33 PM
Nice, thanks for culling that one.  I'll have to get back and finish this game some damn time.

Not voting this year.

And so Daehawk voids any chance of complaining in the R&P forum for four years.  Oh wait, there isn't one.

Carry on.

It's not that hard.

Max Payne: There was something disturbingly familiar about the note on the desk. The handwriting was all pretty curves.
Michelle Payne : [the note reads] You're in a graphic novel.
Max Payne : Suddenly it all made sense. The freeze-frame poses, the word bubbles hanging in the air, the inability to move. I was in a graphic novel. Funny as Hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of.

I thought this was pretty cool, fan redesigns of the Dalek race from Doctor Who.  Some are pretty wild and well done, they'd look great in a big budget Who movie hopefully not starring Will Smith:

Umma, you might want to upgrade to 1.0. That might fix it.

I actually did that after I posted the problem, and other than SuperDragandGo getting nuked as an unsupported extension, the problem persists under 1.0PR
9  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Mozilla Firefox recommendations on: October 14, 2004, 10:47:04 PM
On a related topic, for some reason after I install an extension into Firefox, when I try to start the program again it freezes, no menu items can be selected and nothing can be typed in the URL field.  It takes me a couple of restarts to get things going again.  I plan on alerting Mozilla about this, but I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if so, have they found a fix for it.  I'm using Firefox .09, BTW.

Thanks.

Go to Asian Legend.  It's the best Chinese food you'll ever have, even if you live to be 100 and move to Hong Kong.

I wouldn't mind at least applying, but I keep getting an error page when I try to submit my system specs.  Anyone else seeing this?

Er, nevermind.   Tongue
13  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / The Skinny on Rich (and Gonegold somewhat) SEE 1ST POST EDIT on: October 12, 2004, 10:55:35 AM
I gotta say, I fear for Rich's psychological health if his strategy for dealing with the albatross around his neck that GoneGold seems to have become to him is to shut it off with nary a word to us.

I could never begrudge Rich for the amazing amount of value I've derived from his creation over the years, it developed into one of those few internet places that made the other 90 percent of crap out there worth it just for its existence.  But I've gotta say that an ending like this seems to be a spit in the face of all that, both for the users and moderators alike.

That said, I hope for nothing but the best for Rich and his family, and thank him for the many good, make that great times he has facilitated for me via GoneGold.

Can we get a ColecoVision forum on here?
