Too bad the MP is getting bad reviews. I wasn't expecting there to be any MP, but when they announced it, I thought it might be fun.
Its not getting bad reviews, just that its nothing special. Basically, multiplayer plays like Uncharted.

I've never heard about that one. What's the basis? You're not as much at the ready?
Was wondering that as well and came to the same conclusion. Or perhaps it pooches out the pockets and makes them harder to iron? I believe there is a time for strict uniform regs, when one should be particular about every single detail. That time where you wear your Class A or dress uniform. I've learned over the years that uniformity, at least in the Corps, is a psychological subjugation ploy. The general idea for ridiculous rules like hands in pockets is conditioning subordinates to conform and accept commands even over the most trivial of matters. This isn't leadership. Only boots and incompetent amateurs would ever think that because someone wears the uniform to the letter, they will be effective in the art of killing other human beings. Tactical necessity trumps uniformity. Our so called leaders adherence to regulation and doctrine will be our undoing. When I was in the Marines, we were out in the field, freezing our butts off in January in Korea. The Battalion Commander drove by and saw Marines standing around with their hands in their pockets and their black beenies on. I was the Sq Ldr. Yes, I know it was training. But I made sure people didnt have t-shirts wrapped around their heads or anything stupid like that. I figured, "OK, we all have the same uniform, all my guys have their "watch caps". We all had those lame-ass 1990s green knit gloves that do nothing but make your hands colder. Guys started putting their hands in their pockets. Hell......so did I! I got pulled aside by the Battalion Sgt Major and told I was letting my Marines take advantage of me and that strict enforcement of standards in the field was a test of combat leadership. No mention of the fact that my guys were squared away, fighting positions text book, heavy guns in place with range cards done.

Breeding spiders!
While I am extremely, hopelessly bored and lack direction I have half of my week squared away. Isgrimnur is right, I have volunteered to be a van/bus driver for wounded active duty members. 2-3 times a week I'll be driving them to medical appointments, chow, or to go spider slaying. At least my class C license won't go to waste.

Nothing to do with Aliens:CM? BULLSHIT.
That said - part of it? Most definitely. All of it? I'm guessing there's something else going on.
Take a read over his previous reviews. Aliens was just the final straw. From what I read he phoned in most of those reviews.

Got to say I'm getting pretty amped for this.
Hell yeah man, I've already preordered. Can't wait and it's hard to believe that they could improve the multiplayer but it looks like they have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No special optics if that's what you mean, but other than that, smooth playback. Basically they see what you can see, probably a bit better. There's a big difference between the sub $100 dash cams and the ones I bought. Had a cheap one that cost $50 or so and the playback was unreliable and choppy as in 10-15 fps max.

They both mounted easily and painlessly. The quick start guides that come with them is all that is needed to set up. And both loop recording when the SD card is at full capacity.
Performance wise for these kind of items you get what you pay for, and both these models are very good.
