I'll give it a try. But must avoid eye contact.

Almost fight time, just a couple more weeks.  I'm getting spoiled from all the world class training smile

LOL.  So true.  In hindsight I'm not sure if I got attacked more by cliff racers in Morrowind or by those damn eagles in Far Cry.

Also, the harder zombies are attracted by loud noise.
Yes, and while they are seemingly more vulnerable to head shots, they also dodge like a ninja and jump up on all surfaces.

I progressed further along and went through the first night escape mission.  That was an incredibly tense and unsettling experience.  I was cut down before I made it to the first safehouse.  I made it past the 2nd closest safehouse on my 2nd attempt but botched a landing and ended up in a 1 on 1 fight against a viral.

My 3rd attempt was staying the hell away from them at all costs.  Now when mama Jade says it's time to go inside a safe house, I listen.

I'm about level 6 all around now.

The first night escape was indeed intense and scary. Pressing Y (on the XB1) while running enables you to look over your shoulder and time slows down a bit to plan your next move if the virals are danger close.  I just got a skill that lets me throw equipment (ninja stars, moltovs, flares, etc.) and turn on your UV light while looking back when running

I've noticed that as I gain more abilities, the zombies get stronger and faster too and not just at night.  Makes running around not as easy going as when you start.

Well that seems to defeat the whole point of getting stronger and faster, doesn't it?   retard

I'm not sure that is the case. Regular zombie is still a regular slow zombie. However as your progress through the story and go to different locations, different zombie types start to show up that are much harder to deal with.

Seems to me that as I am level 8 in each skill tree, even the regular zombies move faster and are more aggressive and numerous.  Previously they would just lumber around and maybe one would move at me quickly.  As for the specials, they do seem to show up more frequently too.

Okay you may be on to something here. Was just at the harbor and the plain vanilla zombies do in fact seem way more aggressive.  While they don't run, they move a bit faster and lunge more often.

Eh, with all the rushed games we've seen recently, this is a good thing.

100 percent agree.  IMHO CD Projekt has always been extremely consumer friendly with their DLC, DRM, and taking their time with their games.  Can't wait until May 2015!

He really wanted to keep fighting with a broken arm?  Or you just wanted to keep beating on him?  slywink

I told Hark this the day after, but I acted like a tool.  After the third kick he immediately went down on his knees and started to wave me off.  I taunted him a little, yelling for him to get the hell up and fight. I was hungry from weigh ins, angry that I was fighting almost last on the card, etc etc. In hindsight I should have acted with more humility and sportsmanship.

You da man Kato. Although you would think an opponent in a Muay Thai match might have expected you to kick him and somehow prepare for it.

So my opponents trainer/corner told us that his fighter broke his ulna.  Amateur scene is crazy. On paper, I have only 4 fights and my opponent had 3 (in ISKA Muay Thai) so every bring looks pretty even. But underneath you never know if you are fighting some crazy Russian dude that has 30 Sambo fights or has fought amateur overseas.  Unfortunately for my opponent I have a crazy fighting background that doesn't show up on the books.

Also, the other guy never fought without shinpads before and since I train old school Muay Thai way (no shin pads, kicking heavy bags full of sand, shit like that) I guess he was not conditioned for a simple hard kick.

Last but not least, I'm a big welterweight. The other guy was in decent shape but not as much muscle as me and definitely more body fat.

I'm a bit nervous for my next fight, I tried sparring with just 8oz MMA gloves today and I got rocked so many times. I can't believe MMA fighters go out there with 4oz gloves.

My next fight is in April 2015 in California for an MMA fight. My BJJ is okay, but my wrestling is weak so I better work on that.  I'm taking fights as much as I can these next few years because I promised my wife to stop when I turn 40.

As a fighter over 35, there a bunch of hoops to jump through to get approval from a fighting commission.  Since I'm military it was much easier to supply them with current blood tests, CT scan (anyone over 35 is mandatory), and I even had to send in a video of me and a sparring partner going a hundred percent for 3 rounds (breaks included).  The end result was a good one, however I feel a little disappointed that the actual fight was so short.

Initially to my relief, my opponent looked to be in decent shape and supposedly has 3 or 4 amateur wins no losses. My last few fights the promoters have been giving me subpar competition so I was quite happy.

The fight lasted 24 seconds.  Ref stoppage due to my opponent's left arm broke from my third kick.
