Forum effect is starting to get to me on this one...
Question: Does the game come with any kind of buddy code or trial you can give to someone? The reason I ask is, I might pick it up and if it has a code let the wife try it out along with me. I really wouldn't want to buy 2 copies at the outset until I know if she'd like it too.
At the moment, I don't think there is a trial/buddy code at this time.

I was planning on using this thread for us to communicate easier who needs what for what and who has what for whom.
I have cooking, alchemy and tailoring. With these I can make drinks that increase hp and mana regen, food that increases stats, potions that heal hp or mana and remove status effects. I can also make cloth and leather armor as well as hats and belts.
Items I use are Armor, Weapon and Accessory fluxes. I really only need the non-prefix ones on up. (they go minor/lessor/none/greater/major/expert) I especially need the ones that are 'Worthy' (green quality).
I also need high-grade gold ore, high-grade titanium ore, high-grade aether crystals for tailoring.
I need thick rawhide, fess fibers, raw pluma meat, omblic, umblia, wiki, elemental stones, lumesia.
I can also turn mana stones of a lower quality into those of a higher. only ones really worth it from a financial point are +attack and +physical crit, but I can do others if it's a stone you use.
I'll have a list of the potions, equip and food I can make soon. If you can get me the materials I can get you the stuff
Since most of us will be on Sunday for the headstart, I can offer a vent server (if there isn't one in place already) so we all can communicate with each other effectively. Let me know if anyone is interested

I must exclaim my extreme displeasure in your decision to create a thread stating that you are the worst fighting game player of all time, when that title clearly belongs to me. That you got 31,000 points in any challenge map in Arkham, undeniably proves that you are better at melee combat than myself. How dare you try to claim my title! I demand an apology, and full submission of the Fighting Belt of Suck to me at once.
Sincerely, Jeff (4900 pts high score in Sewer Bat)
You probably don't want to know what Kato and I scored in Sewer Bat Extreme, then.
Autistic Angel is a beast with those challenges as well. Using the batarang during the combat challenges is crucial (at least to me) to keep the combo count going.

Had this one pointed out to me via a thread on Quarter to Three.
As the title suggests the focus is all about space battles. There are 3 ship classes at the moment: Fighter, Frigate and, Cruiser. There are several scenarios to play with that limit the number of pilots and cost of fleet you can field. There are 3 difficulties as well and beating all the scenarios on a difficulty unlocks access to another race.
The game is in beta right now, but like stardock tends to do, you can buy and play now. There are plenty of balance issues and some sound crash issues (that seem to be getting resolved quickly). The only crash that I've had was fixed extremely quickly and had a workaround up even before that. The developer is very responsive and working hard to get various UI issues handled and is willing to adjust the game as people find problems.
I've already gotten a ton of enjoyment out of the game and can't wait for more modules/hulls/classes of ship to be added. From what various people have said it appears to be very moddable.
No online per se at the moment, but you can set up fleets and post them for people to download and try and beat. You can also send personal challenges to someone as well. As soon as Kato lets me know his name in the game I have a couple to send him.
At any rate just wanted to post this here as I don't remember seeing anything on the game on GT.

How long is the game clocking for most here? I really enjoyed the demo and was wondering how much more I could expect if I got the full game.
I've put in about 4 hours so far and I'm only 12 pecent through the game. of course, I'm going REALLY slow and savoring every moment. It's that darn good. i want to explore every nook and cranny, find all the easter eggs and back story. plus, the challenge rooms are freakin' great. i see them easily adding another 10 to 20 hours to my gametime (if not much more).
Spoiler for Hiden:
I had just finished the second fight in the sanitorium and thought to myself, "man, I'd love to come back here and stealth my way through this one" when lo and behold it unlocked about 10 minutes later as a challenge room with the stipulation that i take down the enemies with stealth. i love this game...and i'm gunning for USMC Kato's high score on 'silent knight'.
Ah so you're gunning for my high score eh? Now I must score higher! mua ha ha ha!
I've unlocked 4 challenge rooms (not including the pre-order bonus scarecrow one) and they are all damn fun. Going to see how long I can stay number one in the GT crowd

Game play is a blast. Their demo MP options... not so much. It's peer-to-peer, and no way to see if the host can actually handle a full game, no way to start your own server, etc. With the full version I expect it will be less of an issue since you can have dedicated PC servers for the 360. But right now seems just about impossible to find a lag free game.

The new Post 911 GI Bill will pay for a full four year degree in your home state so that's something you could take advantage of.
Just do like the say in Office Space, if you had a Million dollars what would you want to do?
Definately going to use that G.I. Bill during my job transition. Most likely i'll be staying in the military until I hit 20 years or more. The Marine Corps will not let me change jobs without losing rank so the plan is to transition into the ARMY. I make fun of the army all the time, but in all honesty they have better opportunities for myself and my family. I can be an XRAY tech, do financial paperwork, or be even be a firefighter in the Army. The important thing is that I would finally be home for good and actually be there for my family during the holidays.
