On a more positive note, played for about three hours last night with Hark, Kato and Jarrod. Three hours, one loss the entire time. biggrin

Played a lot of leader and soldier, Kato rolled soldier form, Hark played mostly scientist and Jarrod mostly scientist. It was total decimation of the opposing team.

Had my best game so far in TDM as well, went 21 - 1 playing as a leader class. Warcry is just ridiculously strong.

Aside from the connection issues, I feel like the game is done amazingly. I really wish it got some more attention. We hovered around 7,000 people online last night, around 1,000 in TDM.

I remember that your loss was the game I was on the other team  ninja

hey Jarrod, yeah I got the new 360 after the patch.
2123  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Transformers: War for Cybertron on: July 08, 2010, 08:34:20 PM
I've seen no indication during the game, or post game that scientists (or guys that pick up the healing gun) get points for healing teamates.

Have the connections issue been resolved?

Still not 100% fixed but much, much better.  Also I haven't had a hard-lock on my 360 since the patch.  Oh and that was a great GT team we had last night  thumbsup

Pre-ordered Crackdown 2 but decided to skip it this time around.  Puzzle Quest, Risk, 99 Nights and other games keeping me occupied until Starcraft 2 hits

Heh, I decided to skip out on going to the bar to catch this card because there was nothing other than the main event that I had any interest in.  Looks like I should've caught this one.

Lesnar is PERHAPS NOT AS ONE DIMENSIONAL AS I THOUGHT.

Good fight, Lesnar proved that he has a pretty decent chin.  I thought that Lesnar would have more trouble with Carwin especially being away from the cage for almost a year (over a year?)

+1 Rittchard

Saw the movie with the family unit and was entertained, I got the impression that the bad reviews are focusing on M. Night instead of the movie.  Great special effects and very cool fight scenes.

Packed up the old xbox and trading it all in for the new slim 'box.  Had to use USB storage to backup all of my game data, but I can't wait to test drive the new 360 tomorrow.

Would never pay for this. I "loved" past Modern Warfare/Call of Duty games, but I can definately live without them if Activision ever decided to do this.

I'm going to try to ignore everything about this game until i can play the beta/early access.  I'm too excited for a 40k MMO to be waiting for it.

Kato and I are playing on a pvp server and having a blast.  Game still has some issues that I thought would be resolved by now, but overall it's much better.  (you still can't stealth if anyone in your group is in combat even if you aren't near them, really rough on a pvp server as an assassin.  was one of my major complaints back at launch)

Right now we are running a Ranger and Assassin duo and it's doing well in open pvp.  Ranger can track targets and find out any other players are in the vicinity. The Assassin can pretty much burst down his first target while the Ranger roots.

+1 The first Dead Space was the best survival horror I've ever played.  The sound alone was worth the price

Almost any combo works great imo.  Kato and I had a grand time as a duo of HoX.

We also ran around creating havoc with our Assassin & Guardian combo.

I made these characters in the server "Set":

Kataro - ranger
Kanto - barbarian
2140  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Transformers: War for Cybertron on: June 10, 2010, 03:31:54 PM
Demo is actually well done. Two available classes are the scout and soldier. Can only level up to 3, but you get a taste of low level customization. Team Deathmatch and Conquest are the only modes for the demo, but seem very fun.  Gameplay was smooth and no lag  as far as I can tell.  Cant wait until the retail version ships!

LOL I have logged in over 80 hours playing this game so far....and I feel I still have a long way to go (It's so addictive).  Online lag has improved since launch day, but still has issues.  THQ has stated they are aware of the problems, but no ETA on title update.  Loving this game and I get to make Harkonis tapout on a regular basis, what more can you ask for?  icon_wink

I do,but on europe servers, so thats probably not helping much.

What class did you pick?

Created a Ranger and Herald of Xolti.  Since launch I had a LVL 70 Guardian, and a level 30 Ranger on a PVP server.  It seems I'll be solo a lot so I guess I'll re-roll on a PVE server instead.

Okay started this up again and got a new character up to level 10.  Game seems to have aged nicely and plays really well....at least inside tortage.  I'm tempted to go ahead and buy the expansion, however how many GT guys here are still actively playing?

Short list of actors they're considering as the new spidey

I don't really like any of them except for Jamie Bell.  He may be a little older than the rest but he's definitely a good actor.

+1 for Jamie Bell.  Seems like a great fit for the new spidey IMHO

He's doing fine. He re-enlisted for another 6 years so I think its safe to say he's a career Marine now.
