Playing my main games on the PC Black Ops 2 and Diablo 3.   Black Ops has really clicked for me, very much enjoying it.  I'm basically a pure CoD newbie, so I'm learning the ropes still.  Runs sweet on my PC, graphics and sound is pretty good.  Also still loving D3, I have all five classes at lvl 60+.  Fun!

I'll be playing Diablo 3 and Fallen Enchantress.  Still learning but very much enjoying Fallen.

Still enjoying Diablo 3 and I'm back into WoW.  Getting into dungeons or raids is so much easier and faster now with the function of server wide matching.  Way more enjoyable than a few years ago.
5  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: The Weekend Playlist -- 8/31/12 on: September 01, 2012, 12:25:00 PM
WoW...  it's been over a year, maybe closer to two years since I last played.  I was severely burned out on the game.  Now I have the itch again and it feels good.

Diablo 3

D3.  But not a ton of gaming this weekend.
8  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: The Weekend Playlist -- 6/1/12 on: June 04, 2012, 01:31:19 AM
Played nothing but D3.  I will stick with that until Civilization V expansion comes out.
9  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: The Weekend Playlist -- 5/25/2012 on: May 29, 2012, 01:36:36 AM
Had some extra gaming time this weekend and played D3 exclusively.  Got my DH up to level 38 in Nightmare act 1.
10  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Civilization 5: !#@#!@ Impressions Incoming! God & Kings! on: April 07, 2012, 03:33:54 PM
396 hours played and 90% of that came after the major patch last summer.  Civ V really clicked for me after that patch.   It is definitely a game that rewards you the more you play it... master it.   I can't wait for this new expansion.  Between this and Diablo 3, I will be set for the rest of the year.  In fact, I will probably be playing both games for the next couple of years to come.
11  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Star Wars Kinect on: April 02, 2012, 11:55:25 AM
I really hope that isn't real or it is just a hidden bonus game.  Else, that is just sad!
12  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: So I got a PS3 for Christmas... now what? on: January 04, 2012, 02:35:50 AM
Definitely Uncharted.  Start with the first one.
13  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: The Weekend Playlist -- 12/2/11 on: December 03, 2011, 02:54:38 PM
PC Fallout New Vegas just starting this for the first time.  Picked it up on the recent steam sale with all the DLCs.  Also a little bit of Uncharted.
14  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: It's Thanksgiving. What's Your GOTY? on: November 24, 2011, 02:24:41 AM
PC is Skyrim
PS3 is Dark Souls

Honorable mention is Rayman Origins for the PS3.  I freaking love the music in that game!
15  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: The Weekend Playlist -- 11/18/11 on: November 21, 2011, 06:33:25 PM
Most of my few hours went mostly to Skyrim.  I did get to start Uncharted 1 for the first time.  Wow! what an opening 20 minutes!

I guess I must be in a miniscule minority when I say that I am looking forward to buying the blu ray set. To me, the movies I grew up on went away when ep. 4, 5 and 6 became enhanced "special editions" in the late 90's. All these changes are needless and ridiculous for the most part, but underneath the CGI botox treatments, they ARE basically still Star Wars, and I can't just ignore that. Besides, my 7 year old daughter loves the Star Wars movies and she couldn't care less that they no longer resemble the movies I saw when I was her age. I can't allow personal nerd rage over all this to deny my kid the opportunity to create her own childhood memories of these movies.

Anyhow, I plan to buy the set and enjoy watching them with my kid. If anything, it'll be worth it for the superior video and audio quality on blu ray.

Agreed.  I am all excited for them.  I've got no real issues with the changes, honestly.

Yep, can't wait for these to be released.  Amazon pre-ordered.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Opeth's and Anthrax new ones.

I recently purchased both Black Country Communion records and I love them.  Each listen gets better and better.  One of the best new bands that has come out in a long time.  Highly recommend this group to any metal/rock fan.

For concerts, I'm wanting to the see the epitaph Judas Priest concert.  I think the setlists they have been playing on this tour are awesome.  Here is one from a recent show.

Nice three day weekend to look forward to.  With the recent patches out for Civ 5, I'm deep into that game right now.  I love the balance and added functionality.  Amazing how the little things make a game come together.  So much better than the original release.

Also playing Bioshock 2 on the PS3.

I really enjoyed TAKEN.  I recently watched it for a second time through and loved it even more than the first.  Great series.  And I will be watching this one too.

Will be playing God of War from the PS3 HD version, just got to the Oracle Temple.   Really enjoying it.

Also be playing FF13.  Just taking my sweet time on this gem.  Only on Chapter 2.
29  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Weekend Playlist - 3/12/10 on: March 12, 2010, 03:12:36 PM
Between watching a lot of college basketball, I will be playing God of War HD .  That version looks very very good for being a 5 year old PS2 game.  Also will be playing FF13.   All on the PS3.

This might be the strangest game I have ever read.  Somebody pull the trigger on this one and let us know.

Flips: Terror in Cubicle Four

There’s something strange going on with the loo in cubicle four of the girls’ toilet. It’s spewed green goo on Stacey’s shoes and almost had new boy James for lunch. Can he and his friends, Alexander and Lenny, flush out the cause of the trouble, or will the terrifying toilet plague the school with problems forever?

I'd probably be fine with a graphics update and anything else is gravy.

I absolutely agree with this statement.  Better graphics and please don't F-around with the gameplay too much.
35  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Bioshock 2 - Sea of Dreams on: February 10, 2010, 02:33:52 PM
Being a huge fan of the first Bioshock, I was worried about this sequel living up to the high standards.  Also, I was worried that this game would not feel fresh enough to really want to play through Rapture again.  After the first hour, I can 100% say that it does feel refresh and it does keep to the high standards of the first... and possibly higher.  I read a comment either on this board or on OO that the intro in this game wasn't as good as the original.  I disagree!  The intro to this game is awesome, shocking, sad, and nasty gruesome!  Loved it and so far I love the game.
36  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Whatever happened to ... on: February 09, 2010, 03:31:29 AM
Yeah, I agree with Dungeon Keeper.  A good successful developer really needs to pick this up and turn it into a AAA title.
37  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: What are you buying this week? (2/8) on: February 09, 2010, 03:25:01 AM
Bioshock 2 PS3.  The first Bioshock is one of the best shooters ever in my book, gameplay and story.  I hope this second game keeps the 'shock' scenes just as shocking as the first game.  Seeing a big daddy for the first time was very memorable.

Shiren wii.  I loved the DS Shiren.  It is probably my favorite game on the DS.  I put well over 50 hours on it and I beat the game.  Took a long time because of the death penalty and tough monsters, but I loved that and would not have changed it.  The randomness of the dungeons, items, and monsters made each trip interesting.  Hearing that the wii game might be easier has me disappointed.  The online rescues were awesome and unique from the DS version.  Loved going out and rescuing someone or having someone rescue me.  Very original.  So that is another strike against the wii version if that is not an option.  Why would a developer yank out a key (FUN!) component like that?!!!  Really upsets me.
38  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Weekend Playlist - 1/22/10 on: January 22, 2010, 09:56:41 PM
Deadspace (PS3) - About halfway through Chapter 7.  I love using the Ripper.

Super Mario Bros. Wii - Love playing this game with my kids.  Very fun.

Possibly a little Dragon Age (PC) - I'm trying to kill the swamp witch lady, but I'm only level 8.  So, I probably have to back out and try another quest path because I can only get her down to 50% heal before dying.  Very good game, but I have a couple of problems with it.   The characters are too stiff and the story doesn't flow smoothly.

On christmas eve/boxing day, the wife and I were over at a friends house and we played through the first seven worlds of New Super Mario Bros Wii. What a fantastic game.

Yeah, I've been through the first four worlds and this game is a blast.  A real surprise to me of how good it is.  Especially with friends.  There are a lot of secrets in the game.

I'm in the middle of a sweet two week vacation, so I have some good playing time.

Bioshock (PS3) - I actually like this better on the PS3 than the PC.  I'm about 75% through on the PS3 and it is definitely one of my favorite shooter/action games ever.
King's Bounty The Legend (PC) - I got it for $12.50 from Gamer'sGate.  I'm a huge fan of the Heroes of Might and Magic series and I'm really enjoying this game.  Very addictive and colorful!
Out of the Park Baseball 10 (PC) - I picked this up a week ago on their sale.  I haven't played since the 2007 version.
