Ok, question.
There's another PSP game...I think it's portable ops. From a story perspective, should one play it first? (I'm not going to, but just curious about story stuff).
I know KG is the resident MGS guy around these parts, but I agree. Also, save yourself some frustration (struggled with the controls the entire game) and go with cutscenes off YouTube. They are BEAUTIFUL; I think those that skipped PO are going to be impressed with the hand-drawn stuff that will be featured in Peacewalker.

9.5 review at IGN, very great words about the game. However, it has end battle spoilers... so read if you want to be spoiled: http://psp.ign.com/articles/109/1095291p1.htmlAlso - Peace Walker was called MGS5 during its development... then they decided to drop the 5. For all intensive purposes, it IS MGS5. Intensive purposes? From The Word Detective: "For all intensive purposes" is a classic "eggcorn," a re-shaping of a word or phrase that, far from being a simple error, has flourished and persisted because it actually makes a certain amount of sense.

Very psyched for the tourney.
I've got the Netherlands going all the way.
USA v England match will be huge. If there was a day for us to beat the brits, it would be this one.

This one will be special. Had to force myself through Portable Ops, to be completely honest. After some time with the demo, just the change of controls really made me more excited.
In terms of marketing exposure, yeah, that's tough. Are we going to see a Kevin Butler ad for it?

Also mentioned: the feedback about MP from the community was all taken into account. Considering the number one complaint we saw was lack of a party system, hopefully that (AND MATCHMAKING!) made it into Killzone 3.

I'll buy this one when it hits $20. Too many other games right now to make time for this. Plus, hopefully a patch will help the loading times because I couldn't stand them in the beta. I do look forward to eventually creating some awesome tracks though!
I look forward to racing on them! Got some more time in with this today and I'm digging it. I'm not at the difficulty spike in the single-player yet, although I may steer clear of that all-together because of the massive amount of things to do online. Whether it's the daily hot lap, rolling into a public online game of 12 players, or a quick match on some the highest-ranked maps, I enjoyed myself quite a bit tonight.

I have a feeling we're going to see pretty much EVERYTHING ripped off. Not that there's anything wrong with that (but I want JUST ONE awesome Rainbow Road).

Just unloaded the few pieces of DLC that come with the PS3 "special edition" (AKA preordered regular edition) from Gamestop on eBay for $40. Holy cow. When you do something like that, do you put up a minimum bid, or just see what it goes up to? Saw two sold before mine, one at $20 one at $40. Put a minimum bid up there for $20 and a buy it now at $40 for those impatient types. Only took ten minutes. I love preorder bonuses <3

Completely off topic, but disarm, you wouldn't happen to know where those stats for UT2k4 are at, do you? I thought it was something like zaxxon is a geek or sommmmmmmmmething. Zaxxon had all the stats on his personal UT server. i have the link, but it doesn't look like it's up and running anymore. i wouldn't be surprised if Zax still has the data around somewhere though. it would be a shame to think that all that stuff is lost...especially considering that the results of our last 1v1 LMS tournament were still there. do you remember who won that one? i'm having a hard time remembering who it was that kicked everyone else's ass Ahahaha! Yes, you took home the hardware

Overall, it was interesting. I'm no film critic, but I was prepared for something much less polished. Good work.
Ditto, big props, PR_GMR. Takes a massive amount of dedication to put together as polished a short film, I'm sure.
