So....who here played C&C: Sole Survivor?
I've still got my beta tester pin. Those were the days....
<get off my lawn>
I still have my disk. I was rated 7th at one point. Then I quit playing. I think that was probably out of all 15 players in the world though so....

Hell even Alien:Resurrection isn't all THAT bad if you edit out the last 25 minutes or so.
I mean, how can you not like some of Johnner's dialog:
"Where the fuck are all the army guys!?"
"You're the mechanic. I mostly just hurt people."
----------
However, back to the issue of AvP:Requiem... I'm dissapointed that it's again going to take place on present day Earth and while I'd rather have it in the future on a colony with lots of Colonial Marines mixing it up with our two favorite alien species I'll just have to live with what they give me.
It does piss me off that they've basically said, "fuck canon. If we give 'em enough acid blood and explosions they'll be happy."

At first I thought you were kidding (as this problem is generally found in infants, and rolling them helps correct it). there's no point in rolling infants, they tend to wobble and not go in a straight line... That's why we use a centrifuge.

Strong Enough for a Man, Made for Tk-421.
Jeez, I just can't win.
Men Can't Help Acting On Tk-421.
And the gay slogan parade continues:
It Takes A Tough Man To Make A Tender Tk-421.
------------------------------------------------------
Well, at least the movie generator is treating me better.
With great power comes great TK-421.
Show me the TK-421!
You don't understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been TK-421.
Oh, no, it wasn't the airplanes. It was TK-421 killed the beast. --- Fuck yeah.
Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say 'TK-421' at will to old ladies.
The power of TK-421 compels you.
LOL ---- And the all time Cham Peeeen.....
TK-421, why aren't you at your post?

I was at the mall the other day eating at the food court. I noticed an old man watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. The old man kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find the old man staring every time. When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, "What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?"
The old man did not bat an eye in his response, "Got drunk once and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if you were my son."

Technically four as the premier was broadcast as two successive episodes. So, two the first night, one the following Monday, then another last Monday. They'll play two more episodes sometime this summer and then that's it. I doubt one of the Fox baby networks would even bother picking it up. (which Fox will apparently do with the 9 remaining episodes of Drive.) Do they have all nine remaining episodes filmed? My understanding was they only had two more episodes "in the can." Would this one even be worth a DVD? The episodic nature of Firefly lent itself to DVD format even though it was an incomplete series but since Drive will never be given the chance to even reach some cobbled together resolution to the race why even bother?

My understanding is that extrasolar planets are too small and far away to be seen directly. They know they're there (and some of their properties) by the "wobble" they induce in their suns as they orbit. The Hubble wouldn't see anything, is my understanding.
Our local newscaster informed the viewing audience that "of course, the planet is too dim to see by the naked eye. For that you'll need a telescope."

This is a game I have heard about for years and have never even tried. I would love to I think but there is NOOOOO way my wife would sit still for all that racket in the house.
My wife refuses to even try the game but she definitely likes to watch it being played. I guess she just wants to play "Groupie Hero." She even flashed her tits at me when I finally 5 Starred Freebird.

Not married here (no plans), but in a domestic partnership. If she fell off the face of the earth, I'd certainly be amenable to another serious relationship, but it'd be real difficult to find someone who could both be as awesome as I am AND be able to handle my level of awesomeness.
gellar
Oh I don't know. A little cloning mixed with some chromosome manipuluation and voila; a Gellarette all your own. Of course, it would be creepy at first making out with your affront-to-God-and-nature girlclone but I think you're just awesome enough to pull it off.

I laugh at how you have all missed the glaringly obvious. Starbuck flew down into the eye of the storm/eye of Jupiter and her viper exploded.(although from the way they were describing the atmospheric pressure below the "hard deck" it should have imploded instead of exploded due to the crushing pressure, but I can overlook that for now) Now, regardless of her ejecting or not ejecting, the crushing pressure of the planetary atmosphere will kill her in an instant. This frees her consciousnous to return to a heretofore unknown special resurrection ship on the edge of the galaxy from which the Final Five excersize their machinations upon both the cylons and the humans. Starbuck is reborn not into the body we've come to know as the hot-shot female Viper jockey but into her one true form. The form of: BUM BUM BAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Dirk Benedict!

I hate the way you act, and i hate the way you smell. I hate the way you look girl, cause you just look like hell You make me sick - Way Oh, Way Oh, Way Oh, You make me sick, you really stink girl
You make me sick - Way Oh, Way Oh, Way Oh, You make me sick, but I love you.
I hate your polyester pant-suits, and your greasy hair. And that stuff between your braces, and your hairy derierre.
You make me sick - Way Oh, Way Oh, Way Oh, You make me sick, you really stink girl You make me sick - Way Oh, Way Oh, Way Oh, You make me sick, but I love you.
When I got you in my backseat, and I tried to make my move. I had to roll down all the windows to keep my face from turning blue.
You make me sick - Way Oh, Way Oh, Way Oh, You make me sick, you really stink girl You make me sick - Way Oh, Way Oh, Way Oh, You make me sick, but I love you.
