Some nice additions...I wish they would bring back the "organize my music for me" option...if I just drop a tagged mp3 in my music folder...in v1 of the software, it would create a directory structure for it and move it for me...which was nice...don't see a way to do that now.

I'm finding myself in need of a wireless adapter for my xbox 360 now...rather than spend the $100 for that, I'm wondering if there's a way that I can buy another wireless router...tell it to act as a repeater of my existing wireless router, and be able to plug my xbox 360 into that through the wired interface...is there some router/access point device I can buy that will accomplish that?

Gators? The only gators around here are in the zoo. It's not like Dallas is built on top of wetlands. The only wildlife I've seen near my house are squirrels and cotton tails. Personally, I'd like to live somewhere else considering my sinuses blow up every spring and fall like they're doing right now.
Also, the pollution killed off all the gators back in '01. "Actually, they say the pollution is why we have such beautiful sunsets." I like Dennis Farina's re-telling of that quote much better

What are the chances I just got off the phone with a R-Tard bitch and this is the first post I see. Not saying your either of the two negative extremities used Teggy, we all have moments.. This lady bought a 4GB flashdrive to back up her Computer..COMPUTER.. she plugs the flashdrive in the computer, per her accounts, waited for the light to stop flashing then took it out and proceeded to take her computer to the store to have the OS reinstalled... She comes home put the flashdrive back in waits for the light to stop flashing and tries to find all the files and programs before she reloaded the OS... WTF now she wants to file a lawsuit for us producing faulty products..WTF... I just needed to vent for the incompetence of some people.. once again Teggy, nothing to do with you. I still try to jump 2 foot walls with my character.
pffft...even I know after the light stops flashing you have to say, "computer, copy files." You can't just say it, dummy. You have to hold up your mouse and talk into the bottom. Hello, computer...

I just got mine on Wednesday, have it at home finally now. Installing NWN2 at the moment. Already installed Oblivion...it looked quite sexy. Nice change from my old rig. So many games I can try out now...I'm so far behind on the PC gaming scene.

Hrm, I hadn't thought of that. The part of me that still thinks I'm a skinny teenager really wants to find a place that teaches capoiera, but when I was in rehab for my knee there was a guy there who was in college (young kid, not old fat guy) who had screwed up his knee doing that, so probably not the best idea for me.

I like KD's list of "how I'm going to do this"...inspiring. Mine has just been cutting back on what I eat, and cutting out soda (just water, nonfat milk (not too much), and Fresca (hooray for 0-cal sodas that don't taste like death!).
I need to start some form of exercise...what sort of Martial arts training would be good for someone with a surgically replaced ACL?

-4.5 lbs this week (yay!). I don't think I'll be able to keep up that pace. No real change in exercise (ie, I'm not doing any), but I have eaten less and haven't had any soda in a week.
I'm going to try and add some basic charting/graphing to my tracking app this week, stay tuned...

If you find that option, let me know...I noticed that my library got very confused when I upgraded the software.

Pete, that's a good idea. I'm in Gilbert...so I may be taking a few trips up your way for some band goodness. Where in Gilbert? We're at Warner and McQueen (which is Mesa Drive north of Baseline). And are you planning to buy Rock Band? If so, then you open up an opportunity for some drum-off sessions, as we'll be the only ones buying Rock Band in our circle of friends. Small world I'm at Val Vista/Elliot. Yes, I have Rock Band reserved, I'll be picking it up on release day. I have no space at my place for any sort of Rock Banding though, my 360 is in a very small room in my house.

My post over at OO, quoted here: Career mode on hard == beaten. Took me 2 tries to get past Satan (I wish they'd make the game more about, you know, the music and stuff, not all the imagery :/ Although I liked all the cut-scenes up until that one, rather than just a bus going back and forth). I really, really dislike that boss battle thing. I honestly can't see any normal human ever beating this game on expert. Zaxxon; I signed up for the tour thing, my nick is JXPrime (same as my gamer tag). I also tried linking it online and got that invalid slot token error. There's definitely less songs I liked in this one that any previous game, including the 80s version. I can think of maybe 5-7 songs I'd really like to play again...the rest are meh. I haven't tried any of the unlockable songs yet either. More to come as I trudge through expert. Additionally, I got the game at about 12:15 this morning, and it's 11:51pm now. I need help. Edit: Looks like you can view the leaderboards by career difficulty...I'm 147th overall for hard. Smile And also 3014th for "Campaign" which I'm guessing is any song, cumulative? Maybe?

SpicyJ,
What did that set cost ya?
Been thinking about getting a electric set forever.
Regards, Pig
The set is $995 at Guitar Center, where I picked it up. They're doing a deal for 1 year interest free financing if you sign up for their store credit card, which I did. You'll also need a throne and a bass pedal. Your mileage may very, but I'm still not 100% sure if I'm keeping it or not. I haven't been totally thrilled with the sound quality, especially on the cymbals. I know I could run it through a sampler on my PC using the midi ports, but that's a bit more work than I'm wanting to do. Definitely test drive the crap out of one at the store if you do pick one up. The "brain" on this unit is also pretty limited, some of the more expensive kits have really impressive functionality (mixing the different triggers separately, built-in loops, etc).

Does anyone know how to get into DIY park? I can see an arrow inside there but can't figure out how to get to it.

Is the P-Rod one the one where you have to do a specific kickflip? A Nollie 360 or something like that? I've looked at the trick book, but I can't seem to mimic the right stick movements needed to land that one.

That would be fine if there was a rail on this book. It seems to be all manual/kickflipping...and I can't even do some of the advanced kickflips.

I have a Schecter Stiletto Deluxe-4 bass. Fairly happy with it, it was a definite upgrade over my Squier cheapo that I had previously. For amplification I've got a Behringer BX1200. I also have a 12-string acoustic guitar made by Samick, but I have no idea which of those models it is. At some point in the future I'm wanting to invest in a drum kit, probably electric so I can play w/o disturbing the family and neighborhood.

I've been having a blast with this.
I just got to the point where I can do the little events to pick a first sponsor...I've done all but 3 of them I think. There's a couple that I just can't figure out how to do for the life of me. In one of them, you have to get 500 points in a single trick (I think) while on this book thingie. Anyone been able to do that?

Anyone know of a site that has a listing of audio logs by section? I'd like to make sure I haven't missed any before moving on...
Playing 360 version on Easy...explored everywhere in medical before looking for the crazy surgeon guy w/ the key I need. Was playing in my office, very engrossed, when my oldest son (who had entered the room without my hearing) said, "Hey Dad!".
I had to peel myself off the the ceiling after that.
