Played for about an hour and a half  and I love it.   Love , LOVE VATS.   Blowing someone head off in slow motion never getsold and I wait til I get my bloody mess perk.  I searched the first floor of the school and I love the atmosphere.  Very nice survival horror feel trying to search that place

Kathode very nice job on this game.  Please give my kudos to the FO3 team

okay, played some more last night and I'm back in love again.   Seems I needed to search a little deeper than what I did to find the game. Finally got married last night and had a son named Ben, BUT I lost my virginity to my wife & the BITCH gave me a STD.  Not sure what effects it had on me, but my log sheets shows that I have been burnt

So, I went to gypsy town near the Bowerstone Lake and ran into HArk who gifted me with 10800 gold  thumbsup and proceeded to tell me he is a evil bastard (in game) and he was in the midst of pillaging the gypsy town  icon_eek LOL.  That's my Hark.  we really need to roll some destruction toons in warhammer, so you can get your evil on

Since I am a good guy I decided to head to the Temple of Shadow to wipe it from the planet, BUT I was prompted that killing a innocent is a crime.  So I stoped.  Seems like the law protects a evil temple  crybaby

Anyway, loving the game again

Anyone care to compare Fable 2 to the original?
I liked the original, I guess, but the combat got too hard for me.

Maybe, the shiny is starting to wear off on me, but last night I had a hard time trying to play.  While I like the openess I'm not finding alot of side quest to do.   I completed the first quest for the Abbot, but only a few quest opened up and most of them was Evil leaning...

Think I am missing somthing

I've found a ton of things to do and found myself finally 'forcing' myself to get back on the main quest.  Not sure what game you're playing.

Hark, I'm sure you are pillaging the country side, but I'm playing a goody two shoes...I'll get back to it tonight

Love the game, but I haven't run into many side quest yet in Bowerstone. Only issue I have is that while they did open up the game I still feel like I am on rails.  Wanted to avoid the main quest for awhile, but I couldn't find any quest, so I am making my way to the first quest out of Bowerstone.

Ravens got fucked, because of a phantom roughing the passer call

Even as a titan's fan I thought that was a pretty lame call. He did barely tap the side of the QB's helmet, but it should have been considered incidental contact and not a "blow to the head". I think the ref that made the call was on the back side of it so I can see where it might have looked more severe than it did from the other side. It probably did not help that the refs were being extra aggressive with personal foul calls due to the high emotions previously as well as helmets coming off left and right. That being said, the ravens still had a chance to stop them for the rest of drive which they had shown they were more than capable up until then, so its not like the call won them then game on its own.
You're correct and the refs had good reason to be aggressive with the calls.  The emotions was running high on both sides of the ball and the penalty flag was flying.  Props to Jeff Fischer and the Titans as they are a great team.

I am still sad that the Ravens and Titans are no longer in the same division.  Our rivalry in the late 90's was building to be something epic

Download this last night from GamersGate but no time to play yet. Something new was that I was forced to sign up for 'Verified by Visa' in order to complete the purchase. I've purchased three other games from them in the past and this wasn't a requirement before. And to top it all off, all of the links back to the VbV site that explain the how and the why of it were broken.  mad

woah - be very sure it was legitimate, before you sign anything with your card then.. I've had a small trojan operate in my machine, whenever I used legitimate sites, it would make a pop-up window, that required re-typing all the codes on my code... I just clicked close on it, and the payment still worked...

I got that exact same option, but I just clicked "no thanks"    If you order from Newegg that offer the exact same credit protection from Visa.   It should be optional at least it was for me

PvP in WoW (at least BGs) always felt like a chore you had to go through to get baseline Arena gear or a headstart on PvE gear once you hit 70.  It was fun for a bit but then it just became a massive grind (especially AV where the ideal strategy is to completely ignore the other team for the most part).  I'm enjoying it a lot more in Warhammer, but that may change at level 40 when everyone is just grinding it for Renown.

Yeah, I've tested T4 RvR.  You won't see anyone passing each other to grind Renown as the best way to get points is actually fighting other players.  What you will see is focused gank groups, but this can't be helped

I am planning on joining the Wanderers Order and Destruction guild (separate servers) and then tool around until I find which class i would make my main. I am leaning toward the tanks so either Chosen or Swordmaster. DoK and Shadow Warrior look very cool too.

Some questions I have for you closed beta testers:

Are there two handed hammers and maces available to Chosen?
Black Orc seems the more offense damage over the Chosen, do Chosen stand a chance vs healers?
Rumor are there are quite a few armor sets available at higher level, is this true?
Coming from DAOC, during sieges, tanks pretty much manned siege or took out stragglers, is this pretty much the same in WAR until the doors crash down?

Are there two handed hammers and maces available to Chosen?

I haven't seen any.  At the moment Chosen have a choice between Two handed swords and axes.  Only class that get access to two handed hammers is Warrior Priest, but rumored that Ironbreakers willget the option as well

Black Orc seems the more offense damage over the Chosen, do Chosen stand a chance vs healers?

All tanks have a chance against Healers, but WAR healers are a beast to solo for any class.  Example:  I had a lvl 12 Warrior Priest who just left Kumar Gap (Dwarf vs Greenskin PQ) forgot I was flagged andI was jumped by lvl 15 BO.  While the BO could DPS me he had no way of stopping me from Healing.  So I beat him and the Witch elf that join end at the tail of the fight.  Healers in WAR aren't the targetsthey used to be

Rumor are there are quite a few armor sets available at higher level, is this true?

Yes, Renown Gear, PQ rewards , Quest rewards and Random drops

Coming from DAOC, during sieges, tanks pretty much manned siege or took out stragglers, is this pretty much the same in WAR until the doors crash down?

Yes.  (nda still in effect  or I would add more)  edit to add - Once the doors come down the seige changes...dramatically.  collision detection is freaking awesome
