Played some more last night, still loving it.  l haven't quite got the combat system down yet, as the highest I can seem to get is a x6 multiplier.  I need to get better at smoothly moving from mob to mob, since I think it only gives you a second or two before you lose your multiplier.  The challenges sound like a good place to get some practice in.

Spoiler for Hiden:
I took down Bane after quite a few deaths, but it was a pretty thrilling fight.  When Joker sends in his thugs I would get them all grouped together trying to fight me, then jump out of the way right as Bane barreled through them.  Same thing with the huge chunks of stone he throws, stand in front of a thug and then jump out at the last second.  I swear I think he killed more of them than I did.

The scarecrow sequence was intense.  Slowing walking down the hall and I see a dead body, only to find out it's Jim Gordon!  Then I end up in a morgue with body bags up on slabs.  I unzip the first two in it's Bruce's dead parents, and each eerily turns and speaks about how they died because of him.  That was just flat out awesome, reminded me of the bathtub scene from Eternal Darkness.

Anyone else notice that the "quips" Joker says aren't always the same?  I've noticed, after dieing and having to redo and area, that he'll sometimes say something completely different.  Definitely game of the year material for me, and without a doubt the best super-hero themed game I've ever played.

Agreed!

Spoiler for Hiden:
There is another that happens as you exit a elevator.  You hear something spray and Batman coughs.  I'm thinking WTF just happened then you exit the elevator.

Great game!!

Need help with a Riddler Puzzle. In the Mental Wing

Spoiler for Hiden:
Near the Croc's cage there is a room with a breakable roof.  You jump down there is part of the Riddler's questions mark above the door.  One the floor outside is the period to complete it.  When I try o scan it in detective mode I get clues not aligned correctly.   What am I missing. No matter how I try to  scan the clue to complete the question mark I get this error.  Has anyone figured this one out

Great freaking game.  Another candidate for game of the year

Stuck...I'm in the Medical Facility trying to rescue Dr.Kellerman, but..

Spoiler for Hiden:
I have to turn off three fans.  I was able to get the first one, but I'm not certain how to get the second as the switch is hidden in a alcove that I can't seem to batarang.  I cut the poor guy down, but he is now passed out on the floor.   Help

Nevermind figured out.  Forgot Batman can glide

I've read the first two books in this series, but I gave up on the third.  I like the premise, but Week's executions of the story left a lot to be desired

I need to play with the sliders for certain.  I'm playing franchise with the Ravens (Pro Haven' played in a while) but I'm dominating the game.  Currently setting at 8-0.  Only rough game was against the Pats (damn Brady) which went into OT with me kicking a 47yd FG to win it.   The rough part of my schedule is coming up. two games against the Steelers (currently second in the AFC North 6-2) & Colts (first in the South). If it's true to real life NFL the Steelers game should be a true test for me.

Yes. Yes I would. Rather than pretty much having invulnerability by ratcheting onto the gargoyles... Perhaps when they actually se eyou jump up to the gargolyes they shoot at you. That would be a good middle ground...I guess.
I've actually been shot at while up on the gargoyles, so they can detect you doing that.

Hey I need some help on "The Pitt". I completed the major quest "Free Labor". Now how the heck do I get back to the Wasteland? I went out the main door and got immediately gunned down. I figure there's got to be a better way, right?

gunned down?...was it by the two raiders, that are still loitering about there?...as far as i can remember that WAS the way back, and back over the bridge

i just finished Mothership Zeta,it was fun..but i think its about 4th place in the 5 of the DLC,i was starting to get tired of exploring the ship after 3-4 hrs(it took me 5 hrs to finish..and the ship is BIIIIIGGG!!)...the recordings were hard to find, after i had finished the DLC i had to reload an old save to go get the ones i missed, but they were fun to listen to

if you ever heard about that Vault 76 worker who got abducted(i think it was in Vault tech building on a computer where i read it)..well you find out what happened to him

but it seems i missed a few other things as well,a new perk called Xenotech..and 'apparently' one of the best weapons in the game..the Destabilzer..so that means i am gonna go back and pick them up

bit pissed off that there were no Alien Blasters up there,a bit of ammo for it,but not much...they had other Alien Weapons that were okay but not as good as the Alien Blaster or Firelance(which i still haven't found back on earth)

oh and i enjoyed the little nods/references to Aliens and Star Wars

i am still hoping Bethesda are gonna surprise me and say they will be releasing more DLC...because if they keep bringing it out,i will keep on buying it

Damn no Alien Blaster replacements frown   Loving this DLC so far.  I wasn't very impressed with Point Lookout

Now I just need to read through the rest of this thread to figure out where to get the free books from and how to get PDFs on here.  This could actually be highly useful for keeping board game aids/supplements/rules with me.

For PDFs you can do it a couple of ways:

- Email it to your kindle.  Amazon will convert PDFs, Word Docs, HTML files, etc for a .15 charge and send it to the Kindle.  They do the conversion very fast (ie less than 10 minutes).  However results may vary on how the formatting comes out, especially if you are using something with a lot of tables like a source book.

- Use one of a million free conversion tools online.  I'm quite fond of Calibre myself but I haven't tried it with PDFs.  Then just hook the Kindle to your PC and drop it into the documents folder.

Actually, Amazon offers a free conversion as well.  You will just need to load it onto the Kindle

I also think it is a bad choice to leave out issues with the last generation at Hogsworth.... James, Lilly, and Severus especially, but Serious and Remus as well.  It seems to me that missing those sections really puts a damper on motivations and characterizations.
