President Clinton race baiting in SC has soured alot of bag name Dems against Hilary.  I think we will see less of Bill.  I think he took his favorable african american support for granted and he got burned.

I think most of their comments were widely publicized out of context, but that's just the typical "liberal media" at work.  It worked out well for the Obama campaign, of course, but thats one of several tactics they've taken which I think helps his candidacy at the expense of the Democratic party (and the progressive movement as a whole).

Not that I think a president Hillary is even close to the perfect progressive candidate, but at least she isn't praising Ronald Reagan and worshipping at the altar of bipartisanship.  I've said before how I have serious issues with my senator's claims of what "opposing the war" means, seeing as how he's never actually opposed anything.

So as far as Obama is concerned, I simply don't get the feeling that he's bringing anything different to the table, aside from being a new face at the same old table in the same old room, talking about the same old things in the same old way while they eat the same old food.  And since both he and Hillary are drinking deeply from the well of defense industry money, I don't really know how "The Candidate of hope" means to actually change anything.  Maybe he's just going to hope things change?  Or hope that when he sits around the big table with the insurance industry and pharmaceutical industry, he's going to hope that everything works out how he wants?

I'm just hoping he has the good sense to get a VP who wants to kick some asses, rather than sit around the big bipartisan table and eat granola and sing kumbaya.  If he sticks with his bipartisan bullshit, there's going to be a whole lot of disappointed people, who thought they were voting for a Democrat.

I haven't made up my mind on whom to support, but I was lining up for Hilary cause at least know her record.  The thing is that if Hilary is nominated than she is the one canidate that the majority of republicans will line up against.

I do think Bill's comments was taken out of context, but you have to admit Hilary;s camp has been trying to get Obama's camp into a race debate.

Well, I think Edwards is hoping to get enough votes to sway the election one way or the other, which will give him a bit of influence.  Definitely a good thing, IMO, so I'll still be voting for him.

But it seems like the Democratic establishment is lining up behind Obama.  The Kennedy's have come out on his side, as have many other big players.

President Clinton race baiting in SC has soured alot of bag name Dems against Hilary.  I think we will see less of Bill.  I think he took his favorable african american support for granted and he got burned.

With the Kennedy's support of Obama things aren't looking so good for Clinton.'

Btw, I think Edwards is positioning himself for a VP bid

Oh and what the hell is with the "go around and collect flags for the informer" missions?? I mean, what the hell were they thinking??

Yeah I dont know.  Does not really fit at all with anything.

I want to know why the game set in the 21st century instead of the 12th?  Has there been an explanation for that?  Do you think whoever dreamt the game up thought 'How about a game where you play a 12th century assassin in the middle east...but you arent *really* an assassin, its your ancestor's MEMORIES you are living out?'.  That seems...unlikely.  It seems more likely the game started as being set in the 12th century but the animus/21st century aspects were added on later, and I want to know why.  I am not done with the game but, half way though, the animus shit adds nothing to the game IMO, I feel like it takes away from the game.

I think there will be a part 2 that will take place in the 21st century.

So, I didn't exactly focus on this week's episode while attempting to get some work done, so I'm completely confused.

Spoiler for Hiden:
What the hell was the deal with the trompe l'oeil door painted on the wall that instigated the girl's suicide?  Was this some thread that's going to be resolved in a future episode?  Did I miss something obvious while I looked down at the laptop?

I got caught on the 3 episodes I have TiVo (love it  thumbsup ) anyway, I think it will be a story arc while he's in school.  I'm seeing john Connor and Terminator be Buffy and Scooby gangish with Sarah Connor doing the stopping the whole Skynet part.  Which doesn't make sense to me.  They have a fully functional (experimental at that Terminator) who they can send to wipe out any potential human who might be connected to Skynet.

Anyway, this series will only get a few more episodes with me before I end my season pass on TiVo.  So much potential and it was wasted

I'll tivo the first few episodes and then will watch a few.  I'm not happy with them going for a Female Terminator, but I guess they felt that needed to go with some hotness to get the young male demographic

The demo only allows to play as the Dark Eldar.  It gives you a skirmish against Space Marines and a Dark Eldar Mission from the game.    I like what I see of the Dark Eldar...they seem to build up quite differently than I am used too.  I made the mistake of trying to go toe to toe with the Space Marines and I think the Dark Eldar are built as a HIT and Run force.  Will need to play around with it more, but I like what I see so far

Color us all shocked you love a bad game.

Who said this is a bad game Rage, uh Calvin?  It's averaging 75% for the PC and 88% for the 360 on Gamerankings and it has not even come out yet for the 360!  Besides, I couldn't care less about reviews anyway.  Like I said a billion times before I buy and play what is fun to me.

Ok, lets get over something here. "Accidentally" calling me by a forum handle I haven't used in two years is not funny and it does nothing to prove your point. You are infatuated with a fictional video game character from possibly the worst 360 game released last year. this game, while averaging 75% on the PC, is from all evidence, a complete simplification and dumbing down of the experience on the 360 (perhaps you should read the impressions above). My guessing that this will turn out to be a bad game are grounded in the previews I have read and the evidence I have seen. Your predeliction of finding the best from mediocrity does nothing to change the fact that most discerning gamers will indeed think that this game is bad.

Actually, I kinda like it too  paranoid banned

Honestly, while I wish Sony much success I can't justify owning two consoles.   Currently, I have a PC, 360 and a PSP(which I love btw) for my gaming needs.  I was waiting for a clear winner of the format war before I invested any money into them.  I have a HDTV now I just need a cheap and reliable player.  If it blu-ray so be it, but I'm not spending 400+ on a Blu-ray player

While I'm sadden to hear of her death my main concern is who has thier finger on the button in Pakistan.  I don't think anyone wants a radical Islamic group being in control of over 70 nuclear missles.

Pakistan and India can barely stand each other now.  Who knows what will happen if a trigger happy Jihadist government comes to power in that region.

No worries, now Musharraf can just declare martial law.  The Bush family prefers dealing with dictators anyway.

You didn't honestly think they wanted Pakistan to be a democracy, did you?

Honestly, I don't know.  I'm not a fan of our current President , but I think his main concern is about stability in that region.  Just off the top of my head of the Nuclear powered nations are

Pakistan
India
China
Turkey
Russia
Israel

Now while he should be promoting Democracy he also has to look towards stability in the region.  If you have any type of Nuclear exchange in that region how long would it be til a heavy weight like China or Russia or heaven forbid Israel getting involved.

So yeah, while I dislike Bush propping up a Dictator like Musharaff (sp) he is probably much better than any other alternative in that region
