I'll be getting the game this weekend from Gamefly.   Wanted to ask about a class to play...

I like a challenge, but not too hard.   I wanna play a class that kicks ass and doesn't die too often.   There a particular class to play that would fit that bill?

My Dwarf Noble was a DW/Massive Armor  Mage eating meat grinder.  I specced him Templar/Champion

I would say play a warrior.  Mages are pretty kick ass as well, but don't get really awesome till they have some of the late tier spells
3803  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: [movie] New Moon! OMFG! on: November 24, 2009, 05:00:36 PM
Saw this friday under the gun.  More of the same, imo.  Bella all angsty and Edward all wimpy...

After talking to my sister about this movie she explained the author for this series is a Mormon...

Then it all made sense

I picked up Arcane Warrior on my main and I mostly use it so I can equip armor to actually get a good defense rating (and put on items like one that gives me +25 Stamina that turns into Mana with AW). It's only when I'm out of mana and absolutely have to get into the fight itself that I even turn on the line's buff (as it costs nothing short of a large fatigue penalty to turn on).

How is that working for you?  I might just try this
3805  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Dragon Age Tips and Tricks on: November 24, 2009, 01:53:03 PM
Tried playing a Arcane Warrior on my second play through and I must be speccing him wrong, cause he sucks.  He doesn't have the Con to be a front line fighter, can only use auto attack and has to use sustained spells.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong
3806  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Well crap...(RRoD) on: November 20, 2009, 01:54:00 PM
360 number two just RROD while playing Assassins Creed 2 from the HD.  Power Supply is showing green..time to call MS Support for the coffin

Sigh..  If PS3 MP was more robust amongst my friends I would make the jump

I agree with all of it.

It's a good game, but not for everyone. They should never expect it to sell all that much. I bought the Renegade Edition (for the fact that I wanted a place to keep the thing and a table to use it on), but they probably should have sold that for $120 and the regular edition for $60 if they wanted people to buy it and get it into houses.

Agreed.  great game and I love it, but if you aren't into the DJ Culture you won't get it

Rittch I don't think it's GOTY, Dragon Age gets my vote, but MW1 is a much easier game to follow.

MP is a different animal altogether I some people play daily and know the in and out of the Maps.  I don't play pick up games and only play MP with people on the friends list.
3814  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Dragon Age Countdown on: November 16, 2009, 06:09:34 PM
I just finished this yesterday and I can see myself playing again.  I enjoyed my Dwarf noble, but I'm thinking of playing as a Elf Mage /Arcane Warrior
3815  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Modern Warfare 2 Impressions [And official GT Review] on: November 16, 2009, 05:38:53 PM
Maybe that's my issue.  I tend to move around and my reaction time is a little slow, so maybe I'll camp more.  Camping always seem chessy
3816  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Modern Warfare 2 Impressions [And official GT Review] on: November 16, 2009, 02:26:32 PM
Here's what I learned about MP.  I still suck.  I have fun with I'm playing with friends, but against my enjoyment level drop tremendously.  Anyway, I'm still in for MP
3817  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: What are you buying this week? (11/16) on: November 16, 2009, 02:09:17 PM
Assassins Creed 2

Want Left 4 Dead 2, but I barely played the first one co-op, so I think I'm out this time
3818  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Assassin's Creed 2 interest? on: November 13, 2009, 04:57:11 PM
Day one purchase.  I have a 10.00 credit with Amazon that applied and with their sale I got the game for 51.00 shipped

well I didn't get to MP last night as I'm assuming all spots was filled.  Going to be anothe late night at work and another night of falling behind.  Oh well.  Hopefully, I can get in some MP during Pete's Geezer Gone Wild Event

I don't recall you sending any msgs to us.  Your best bet to get in is to keep checking the friends list and look for the 'Join in Progress' option.  we often have 8-10 people in a lobby at a time and generally have at least one spot open up at the end of each map.

True, but honestly I thought you guys was filled.  Kind of hard to determine when you don't need to be in a party.   I had twenty people showing last night playing MW2.  I'll send a message tonight

I still love Will Ferrell stuff , but I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Comedians try to branch out and expand.  Some are successful others die a painful death

How do you have the tactics set.  They work in set priorites from top to bottom.   So if you have Wynne healing before rezzing she will heal first before rezzing.  With Shale do you have that tactic set first?
3834  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / Re: Dragon Age is looking good! on: November 09, 2009, 07:27:04 PM
Yeah, consequences re: Mage Tower

Spoiler for Hiden:
Initially, when I started the Mage Tower quest I was going to purge the tower of all mages, so I get to Wynne and we dialog and I inform her that I wouldn
t make up my mind what I'll do til I get in there.  She didn't like it and attacked me.  So, my team killed her and Morrigan commented on her being a relic/fossil
