It is the 41st millennium.  For the more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth.  he is the master of mankind by will of the gods, and master of million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies.   He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology.  He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand Souls are sacrificed every day, so the he may never truly die.

Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, thier way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's Will. Greatest amongst His soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super warriors.  Their comrade in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever-vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few.  But for all their multitudes , they are barely enough to hold off the ever present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse. - Open paragraphs from Warhammer novels

It is during this time while one of His ship's is making travel through the Warp that the taint of chaos has been detected.  On board is a Inquistion Deathwatch Team.  The taint has nearly been destroyed save for only 2-3 more.  The remaining suspects have been sealed away,  so they can catch the few remaining heretics.

Bad guys:

Chaos Sorcerer : Can ask the true role of any player once per night
Chaos Champion: if lynched will bbezerk and take a player of his choosing with him.  Has the ability to convert one player to the way of chaos.   (if a special is turned that player will lose his powers)
Cultist: Turned from the Emperor's Light by the Chaos Champion.

Good guys:

Inquistor:  A powerful psyker that can ask the true role of any player once per night
Inquistion Witch Hunter:  Has the ability to protect any player for being killed or turned.  Can not protect the same player twice in a row.  If he protects a Chaos player the Witch Hunter will not die.  The Chaos player will still make their kill or conversion.  He a one time ability to shoot someone during the day

2 Inquistion Med-Tech:   As long as one is alive the true role of the lynched person or the person shoot by the Witch Hunter role will be revealed.  This will occur in my write up prior to the turn flipping

7 Crew;  Hapless victims caught up in a chaos plot.  No special role

Order of turn:

Inquistor: Scan
Chaos Sorcerer Scan
Witch Hunter protects
Chaos kills/convert

Additional Rules:

No Post editing
If the Inquistor scans and the person is converted after then they will show innocent
No time limit on voting
Night time talking allowed

If you want to play a simple IN will suffice

Well, I just adopted a kitten from the SPCA. Went to get a dog, but came away with a cat...go figure... icon_eek   Anyway, Cappy, short for Capt. Hook, is 9 wks old male and loves to cuddle at 2:30- 3:30 in the morning.  It's driving me crazy for this cat to wake me up in the middle of the night looking for affection.  Will he grow out of it?  Next, He's found a spot in my living room that he likes to eliminate. Which is a problem since I don't want a litter box in my living room.  I placed the boz initially in my bathroom, but he refuses to use it there.  So I am looking for advice on this as well.   Sorry for hi-jacking your thread with my kitten issues.

I'm ready for something to happen too. Can Usul shoot someone tomorrow so we can get this game going again? I know Im not one to talk because I haven't participated much but I am playing the game.

Again, I say shoot Soulchilde.

Shooting me would be a waste of the shot.  I'm a citizen...no special powers.  I'm not a cylon either.

Dude, seriously.  Do I have to mention this EVERY SINGLE TIME you mention this?  I claimed the role of a WW in my first game too, and I was a regular villager.  Add that to your train of thought, and there's a 50/50 chance that you're right.  Your odds aren't that good anymore, are they?  And if the cylons did attack me last night, aren't the chances that I am Starbuck and protected myself just as likely???

Remus - how many other games has rickfc played this time around where he has "faked" a role? What bout when Raven 7 popped in and said he was a werewolf? Or what bout when Purge says he's a wolf? I think this is his third game right?

Also you are forgetting rational choice. We dont know who the Wolves picked to kill. They could have said lets kill x because he is a threat due to his kick ass play this game...only to get their kill denied due the two reasons.

I am not denying they could have thought it, but if I were a wolf, I could think of a couple other people I would have taken out instead of Rickfc, in fact I would have ignored all the "i'm helo" crap. I would tend to think that he would have learned to not wear a role on his sleeve like that.

It seems like the GT thing to do is to say you are X role here, even when you aren't. I think the lynch wagon is taking that bit out of proportion. If he was just kidding....then your argument falls flat out. I know we dont have a lot to go on, but he has reached 7 now, so I bet at least one person there is a wolf.

And that's also why i think this whole lynching of rickfc is folly. but meh, that's just me.

Day 1 is a crap shoot and the experienced players already know this.  Unless ,  a cylon makes a blunder of epic proportion then more than likely we are going to lynch a innocent.  They issue we have it hitting a special.  Rickfc got 7 votes  and didn't cry innocent or good guy special , so I am leaning that he is a cylon.  My votes stays where it's at for the moment.

Also, I'm a frakin citizen, so if you need a sacrifiical lamb then I'll quietly go to my death.  You will have the knowledge that I have no special role

Played about five more hours yesterday, bringing my total game time to about thirty hours and close to 40% complete. I'm starting to get blurry about which missions I just played, they are starting to melt together. I did complete all the car retrievals for Brucie and also ran my first race in Algonquin. I finally hit the wall on the mission where you try to retrieve the truck from down at the docks. I must have tried it about five times and each time I screwed up a new way. I think I need to take a break.

Oh, and after screwing up and mission my date with Carmen I finally got another internet date. She hated where I took her, the bitch mad. Now I'm back on the schedule with Carmen. Man, I'm starting to miss Michelle... she was easy  icon_smile

for that docks mission (if it's the one i'm thinking), you don't have to climb down to the ground like Packie tells you...stay up high and pick off guys from better cover before going down.  take out as many as you can before approaching the truck and you should be fine.

don't feel too bad about Carmen...bitch totally dumped me after our first date.  she flat-out said she didn't want to see me again and didn't give me her phone number.  i'm not sure yet if that situation is salvageable in any way...

Reading the dating profiles.  Carmen is a "Hood Rat" Bling impresses her.  Fancy cars and nice clothes.  So when I picked her up I had a Persuses Suit and and I jacked a Hummer.  She does have a nice perk once she likes you.  I actually had to take her out twice before she gave up the goods  icon_twisted  I guess the Cat Williams comedy show impressed her
