this entire scene with Flemeth and Morrigan is AWESOME
since I'm the last one to post I'll just edit this post. Completed the game last night on Normal and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Stay through the credits
Spoiler for Hiden:
Solas being the Dread Wolf is awesome and makes a great deal of sense once you think about his conversations you had with him. I guess the Elves of Old are now starting to wake and points to the where Bioware is taking Dragon Age.
This game has redeemed some of the disappointment I had with Bioware. Its shows they can make a good if not a great RPG if they take their time

Best part of the Hinterlands is revisiting with a level 15 party and wiping the floor with everything that was kicking your ass at the start of the game.
So Blackwall just...left. No idea why, as I hadn't received any messages that he "greatly disapproved" with anything I'd done. There was an indicator to go talk with him last time I got back to Skyhold, which I did. Told him I was glad he was part of the Inquisition, and he agreed. Went back to the throne room and started equipping my characters with some new gear, and he was simply gone. Jumped to a new area, and there's a big X through his card and he's not a selectable character anymore. He wasn't a huge loss party-wise, as I didn't use him very often. However, it sure would have been nice to have at least some gorram indication that was going to happen.
Thankfully, I picked up someone that more than made up for it...
Spoiler for Hiden:
I swear, I'd pay good money simply to hear Claudia Black read the phone book.
I also had the bug where the dialog wheel stops showing up, which required two PS4 reboots. I've found that anytime my subtitles disappear, it's a pretty good indicator that the game is going to either crash back to the dashboard or bug out with the dialog wheel pretty soon.
you didn't check the stable where he liked to stay? there's a clue there

I believe Rebels is canon and there is an episode with the academy for training stormtroopers.

Within the new regime, the clone troopers—now known as stormtroopers—were placed under the guidance of Imperial officers and governors instead. As the clones' accelerated aging process began causing their skills to deteriorate, they were replaced by non-clone volunteers and conscripts.

Spoiler for Hiden:
The Redcliffe time travel plotline with the Tevinter mages was simply fantastic, so epic it felt like it should be the finale and not just a bump in the beginning of the game!
There are minor nits I have with the interface, and minor things such as not being able to romance Cullen (boooooo), plus I'm getting some stuttering hiccups now and my fans are going wild trying to run the gorgeous graphics, but all in all its worth it.
You get some justice when you make it to Skyhold
Spoiler for Hiden:
I made him Tranquil which pissed Dorian off
Thanks, Turtle. I figured as much.. I'll just reboot the game more often
Btw, having to quest for the advanced classes suck and I suggest as soon as the opportunity opens up do the War Table quest to open it up. Sadly, the advance class I chose appears to be over-powered with people posting vids of soloing dragaon as an Knight Enchanter

also ran into a Rift with a very high level demon at least for the area I'm in
Is that the rift around the horse area? If so, my party died several times to the point of frustration. That's when I figured I must have wandered too far, although the horse quest is one of the first two you get. I guess the feeling this is more like an elder scrolls would be accurate.

Gratch likes a game? TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF THAT POST!
When the game gets into story mode, I really like it. Bioware has never steered me wrong in that department.
I'm not nearly as fond of the "get a new quest every 3 steps" dynamic that the open world brings though. It's the main reason why open world games don't generally click with me...jury is still out on this one.
I agree about the amount of quest you can pick up, but what I'm finding is that most of them are quickly completed at least in the Hinterlands. Btw, ran into my first Dragon and it didn't go well, so I will just avoid that area and come back later and I also ran into a Rift with a very high level demon at least for the area I'm in
Played a bit this morning and I think I should have went PC instead of XB1.. Noticeable stutters at times, but my main issue is controls. I probably would have preferred PC instead, but I loathe to install Origin.
Anyway, pretty good so far I missed a conversation with Solas as we were traveling he asked me about living as a Dalish and my conversation tree appeared and it was greyed out and I couldn't select an answer. Eventually he remarked something like "Well, be silent then" Has anyone run into this? "
I've been contemplating on buying a Nexus 9 but every time I get close to pulling the trigger I can't find one good reason I'll use it above my phone or my current 4 year old Win 7 laptop which is my primary couch machine.
Jump on N4G and throw some comments in there? It helps us expand our audience by pushing our review up the ranks. It also, obviously, has our review in it. 4000 words, a video review, a side-by-side comparison, and 90 minutes of multiplayer isn't easy to cobble together on a deadline.
Ron I told you I was a bit envious when I saw you playing this on the XB1... oh gosh,.. I guess I need to pre-order this now
