Still undecided if I'm going console or pc on this.   Strongly considering console just so I can play from my couch on my TV instead of my pc monitor.   Heck, I never finished Witcher 2 so I might just hold off on this one till a price drop
7  Gaming / Multiplayer Madness (MMO or otherwise) / Re: World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor on: April 22, 2015, 06:35:30 PM
I would still be playing if I could find a steady horde group for PvE.  It appears The Wanderers moved servers and finding a new guild of liked minded people was a chore.   I guess I could move from Whisperwind, but I don't think I know anyone on the server that the guild moved too.

Anyway, the expansion was great  for the time i played it

Quick question. Do you create your entire party of characters?  Or do you create just one and then find the other characters like Baldur's Gate? I would really like to create my entire party from scratch.

You create your initial PC.  If you want to create your own party you will need to go an inn and recruit and that's 250 cp each, so yes it can be done.  You also meet NPC (8 total) you can add for free I think.  I've only met 4 so far

Nada - Wish XB1 had a credible baseball game like MLB 15.  Anyway, nothing for me on the horizon.  I think the next big release for me will be Halo 5 in Oct.

Really liking this game.  Reminds me a lot of Balders Gate.

I got stuck at the bells though.  Anyone have the key to ring the bells?

Use stealth mode when exploring dungeons. There are plenty of secrets in this game, and you'll only find them in stealth mode. I believe this includes clues you need to solve that particular puzzle. Apart from that, the below is what I think was the solution, based on memory alone:

Spoiler for Hiden:
Right, middle, left, right

That was it, thank you!

Spoiler for Hiden:
I had picked up the parchment that talked about the middle bell being second but didn't see anything else.  I guess I'll go stealth mode the rest of the way.

Spoiler for Hiden:
there's also a vision that gives a clue too.  its recorded in the journal

It really is kind of mean the way GT keeps OO refugees from creating new threads on different topics. Instead we're forced to cram all topics into this one OO designated thread.

Really?   When was that ever stated?   I thought most of the refugee just posted to this thread cause this is where the OO server status is usually posted.

Section 7, paragraph 3, part II of the Terms and Conditions for using the GT forums.

"No forum member who predominantly uses Octopus Overlords (henceforth known as OO) shall create a new thread in the GamingTrend (henceforth known as GT) forum. All topics from OO users must be held within the "OO off line for a short time" thread. Violation of this rule is terms for banishment from GT."

Pretty neat tool and I could potentially cut my bill down to 60 bucks using Amazon, Netflix, HBO Go and Hulu Plus.  Only thing I would miss would be CBS services which I really don't care about. Cutting Tool

That's pretty awesome as I'm currently pays close to 180 a month cause I go caught in a two year contract with Comcast

34  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / DC pulled a Batgirl cover variant on: March 17, 2015, 11:42:26 PM
Spoiler for Hiden:

DC Comics decided to pull a variant cover art for Batgirl #41 after the artist started receiving some flak over the art that has nothing to do with the current Batgirl story line. The artist asked for the piece to be pulled as rethinking the meaning of the piece.  The variant piece pays homage to the 25 yr old graphic novel The Killing Joke where Joker breaks her back and take photos of her naked to hurt Commissioner Gordon

I don't understand the hate over this piece, I know some people are tired of seeing women used as plot devices to advance a story, but The Killing Joke was a great novel and it Batman canon
