In regards to Google+, I love it. I have a full science circle where I get a good stream of interesting articles. And in general I go to that more than Facebook or Twitter.

I'm assuming with the pinky proudly at full mast as well. ...err....yes...the...ummm....pinky Why did you have to go and make it weird? The fact that you don't wear pants during breakfast doesn't necessarily make it a societal norm. Or you just have REALLY good cereal. Shovel. Need to get those Lucky Charms deep inside me and quick.

Doing well, seem to be shooting up the career stuff at work. Getting fun and interesting projects. Deadlines are tight and the work is challenging but slowly making things work. Also started the amazing process of finding a house. Amazing in that all the people that I know that have been looking for houses around here has been an act of frustration.

In general, I love the consolidated gaming forum, because it is what I am used to. If you want to see a good organization, IE categories and so forth then I would have to argue to look at how Something Awful does it. Basically there is a little banner/tag which is kind of being done now here but it is select-able at thread creation. Whether the game is PC/360/PS3/Whatever. I mean ultimately you should theoretically be able to filter based on that. Then that goes into the child forums which was done to this forum which is amazingly better. You would have something by genre and so forth. Like MMO games and all that. Something Awful usually creates a a new sub forum if a lot of threads are created for a new game. Like when D3 was coming out there was a D3 forum which over time would just be merged back into the main game forum.
At the end of the day I would say people don't like change but I feel this is a good step forward in fostering more discussion, and since so many games are now cross platform it doesn't really matter. Would the general information for a game like Batman Arkham City be any different between PC/PS3/360? As for not enough talk about your chosen platform, the only thing I can really say is that to just create threads if you feel there aren't any. Ultimately the forum will show what is more popular to everyone. That is the only downside but if SA is any indication PC only threads and games are just as popular as there console counterparts. I would say there is a larger pool of people over there.
I'm happy the main page is doing well, I loved the E3 coverage I didn't really go to any other site during that time and the articles and reviews I find are some of the best here. I also like how the PA Report is doing things now even though I generally disagree with Ben Kuchera or whoever it is that writes things. I know that type of reporting is a lot more difficult to write and definitely more difficult to be able to get the story. Since PA kind of started off with their name to able to get those interviews. But I hvae no doubts that GT can get to that point.
It's definately going in the right direction.

Basically to me it's still shit, shinier shit. But still shit. Would I of been this disappointed if these were the original endings? No, probably not. It still doesn't deal with: Is it better than what was originally there> Yeah. Are they still crummy endings? Yeah, they are just more of a "meh" instead of nerd rage.

I went and looked at the new Retina MBP at the Apple Store and man it's purty.
I saw the ifixit tear down and holy shit has apple basically destroyed any and all upgrade-ability. Soldering the RAM onto the logic board, you can't just get the lowest ram and buy 16 gigs off of newegg for 100 dollars. More proprietary SSDs. It would be incredibly hard for me to want to dump that much money on a laptop that has no chance of me extending its life a bit.

MacRumors has a breakdown on what will work where with iOS 6: Some of this totally baffles me, why can't the iPhone 4 do turn by turn? My ancient android phone could do turn by turn without any issue, hell the multitude of apps on the store that do turn by turn supported my iPhone 3G.

it'd be nice if they gave some sort of hint about the next iPhone, because the Samsung Galaxy S3 is looking sexier than Kathode in a teddy.
If by hint you mean what the OS will be then you'll be ok, otherwise I wouldn't expect to hear anything until Sept. Here's a preview though, it'll be better than anything else on the market. Sure.

It's really hard for me to see how people can be so tied to sports and competition in general when it is literally destroying there bodies. I have a friend at work who has had his shoulder dislocate. He finally got around to doing surgery, then went back to football and dislocated it again. He's finally stopped playing football, but he still climbs and rides his mountain bike hard. It seems there there is a point where he is willing to nuke his whole shoulder than stop competing in things. I understand that it is part of things that you love to do but I guess I feel there has to be a line so that you don't end up in a wheel chair or the total loss of use of one of your limbs.
