Not sure if this one was mentioned earlier, but another strong Diablo clone, Dungeon Hunter. Reviews look good so far and the gameplay footage seems solid. Why don't some developers make some more clones for the PC or other consoles? This is like the 3rd (or more?) Diablo clone on the iPhone/Touch. http://ifones.com/dungeon-hunter-finally-returns-to-the-app-store/I'm really enjoying it. The gameplay is straight forward hack-n-slash and looting, but the graphics look fantastic and overall it's really well done. I didn't like the virtual stick to control my character though, fortunately you can turn it off and just touch to move. Other than that, it's an addicting little Diablo clone and worth checking out (and if the price drops then definitely grab it).

Everything is always months early when it comes to what stores have in stock. Like bikinis and swimwear showing up in January. Seems like it's been that way forever now.

I kind of liked it. It wasn't that funny but I think the characters could grow on me, and it has the potential to be a lot better than Family Guy at this point.

Yeah Kratz, I watched Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired as well not too long ago. It really was an excellent documentary detailing all the crazy stuff that happened with the case. I hope they can sort all this out quickly so it's finally done and over with, especially for the victim who has forgiven him, wants to move on, but can't because it keeps getting attention.

Fun demo. I wasn't all that interested in it but now I think I'll pick it up on release day. The menu is brilliantly done, I dig the sense of humour, and the fighting and driving were fun. I enjoyed KISS Psycho Circus, so stands to reason I'd like this too.

Yeah, I knew I was right but I thought the rule was to wait for confirmation.
Someone else mind grabbing my turn today?

I spent one level trying myriad ways to get my guy up the side of a cliff. The grappling hook wasn't long enough. The magic carpet would have worked, but I'd already used it. Same with the ladders and the trampoline. Eventually I just went with a helicopter.
The next level had a similar cliff. I was a bit annoyed at first, but then it dawned on me, and I typed in elevator. Rode up in style.
Don't have the game myself but Ive heard others say one of the best ways to ascend is by summoning a Jetpack has been my favourite way of getting up and around.

RE: Juggernaut From a former WoW guild member. So yea, you know that deal with the Pre-order Juggernaut for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2? Turns out if you just put in a bullshit receipt # (00000/00-00 is the format) they just give you the DLC code for free. Supposedly they don't give a fuck about checking the number at all with other pre-order crap like this too. I pre-ordered it through Gamestop but cancelled to get in on a Best Buy deal. I still got the Juggernaut code e-mailed to me though.

Controls are definitely a bit wonky, but it's an extremely fun game so far. I really like how it encourages you to go back and try different items and combinations. My seven-year old almost bust his gut laughing when we used "zombie" and it started changing the other characters into zombies too. If you haven't already, try using "teleporter". Interesting result.

I mean, this game...has got that something. I think you understand. When I...say that something...I want to hold its hand. I want to hold its haaaaaand. I want to hold its hand.
And when I touch it I feel happy. Inside. It's just a feeling that my love...I can't hide.
A couple of our local morning DJs did a Beatles Rock Band song like that, it's the first one linked here. It came out pretty cool I thought.

My local Gamestop is doing the midnight launch. Apparently they didn't get a ton of preorders but did have enough to go ahead and open the doors tonight. They don't have anything else going on though, just pick up the game and that's it.

I had a quick question about the two new $100 guitars. Are they made out of better materials for that price or are improved in any way over the RB2 ones?

I played it for a while yesterday and I quite like it. It's still no Rock Band, but compared to World Tour it is so much better and easier to navigate. I like what they did with the menus, graphics, and having your Avatar on stage is a nice touch. I'm playing on Hard and from what I remember it feels easier than previous GH games. The HO/PO's seem a bit easier too, but that could be from playing the lower tier songs at this point. I really like that they added a Beginner level where you strum only, great for my seven-year old who always wants to play. The guitar still feels like a toy, no surprise I'll be sticking with the RB2 one.
GH5 certainly won't replace RB2 or even Beatles, it just can't seem to capture the experience that is RB. It's got some nice features though and definitely blows away all previous GH versions.
