I say be grateful for what you have. I wish I could get TW or UVerse. My only option is verizon 3/1 and I pay way more than I should for it. In other words be grateful for an open market.

Looks like this may be back in existence as a Nintendo NX exclusive.

It's a similar deal to what happened with Bayonetta 2, apparently.

It's working title is Beyond Good and Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers.

If true that might get me to buy a NX. I skipped the WiiU so if they add in backwards compatibility with the WiiU then I would definitely be in.

This month's selection is easily the worst since they went to the monthly format. This is coming from someone who hasn't complained about the game selection in the past. There literally isn't one game on the list that I feel like Downloading.

Here's the full list:
Broforce (PS4)
Galak-Z (PS4)
Super Stardust HD (PS3) - Doesn't everyone already have this game if they want it?
The Last Guy (PS3) - This game is literally 8 years old.
Flame Over (PS Vita) - Never heard of it.
Reality Fighters (PS Vita) - Never heard of it.

Well, Galak-Z is pretty decent and well reviewed.

Broforce is awesome and one of the better free PS+ games.

If Broforce was crossplay on the Vita then I would play it. But there is zero chance that I will play it on my big screen.

Very awkward scene where Michonne and Rick were making googly eyes at one another during the RV drive.

Not liking that relationship. The attraction between them seemed to come out of nowhere. I suppose I could buy it as meaningless random sex but that's out of place for this show.

The herd needs thinning and there are plenty of relics from old story arcs who would not be missed. Among the A Team, they're foreshadowing death for Maggie, maybe Michonne, and probably Abraham. How many seasons has this show had now? It must be getting near the end and some cast members must be ready to move on.

This is season 6 and the show still gets huge ratings. So my guess is there will be at least 3 more seasons. If I'm an actor on this show I don't leave voluntarily right now. But I agree the heard has needed thinned the entire season. My guess is we will see more than one long term character death before season 7.

I can't believe my two choices are going to be clinton and trump. I am mortified.

The republicans are getting what they deserve. The party has been hijacked by radicals who see compromise and unity as a weakness. There is no room for a moderate republican in today's party. Thus the lunatic fringe is rising to the top. As someone who really doesn't like Hillary Clinton I wish this wasn't the case. I would take a Ford of GHWB over any of the current candidates on either side. But if they ran today they wouldn't have even made it past Iowa.

As a Libertarian leaning person I would actually be more likely to vote Republican in the next election if they do get a new Judge confirmed this year. The reasoning is simple. It would tip the court to a 5-4 liberal balance (something we haven't had in a VERY long time). The next president will then more than likely get to pick 1 or 2 more new judges. If we get a Dem president the Supreme Court could very likely go 6-3 liberal by 2020. This is something  I do not want. On the other hand if they confirm somebody and then a republican wins the election then the court is more likely to stay relatively balanced 5-4 one way or the other. Balance is better, especially when there are truly middle of the road judges who can put the law above politics (Think the opposite of Thomas).

As it stands though if the Republicans block just for the sake of blocking then I will most definitely not be voting republican in the presidential election.
ActuallyI think the older Supreme Court justices are mainly on the Liberal side so even if a Democratic president were elected the balance would probably not shift much (unless Obummer keeps assassinating judges).

The cooks on Infowars.com are pushing the assassination angle hard. The entertainment value one can get from that website is awesome.

I'm really liking this season, BUT I don't like the fact that the Flash is constantly getting his ass kicked by Zoom. It's like they aren't even in the same league. My hope is that the writers somehow fix this by letting Barry become faster naturally, rather than using some silly tech or Speed Potion trick. Traditionally the comic book Flash can run as fast as the speed of light, the TV Barry isn't even close to that. Heck he barely gets around Mach 2.
IIRC, the Flash wasn't that fast in the comics in the beginning either. It's something he worked up to.

yeah I get that but 1500 mph isn't fast at all when we are talking about the Flash. I want him to get faster.

Your car analogy is so far removed from this scenario that it's like comparing a distracted driver to a mother who doesn't care. More on point where is the line that you would like to draw between personal responsibility and the nanny state? I mean the movie is called Deadpool, in order to even buy the tickets she would have to say please give me tickets for DEADPOOL. The name itself implies that this isn't your average Marvel movie, if that doesn't tell you that you should look at the rating then I don't know what does.

Great movie but WTH parents why are there kids like 7 years old at the movie?  Congrats to the Mom and her 4 kids all young that now know what exactly a strip club is like inside and what goes on in there.

As a joke, it took me like 5 seconds to Google up 'Why is Deadpool rated R?' and find out exactly why so thanks to IMDB.

...why can't parents do so?

Because it doesn't occur to them that they have to do that.

The kids want to see the movie.  All the parents see is a poster for Marvel and what looks like a regular superhero on it.  They've been to Marvel movies before, and it has never been a problem.  Why would they even think to check if this one is an outlier?

The studio has done what they could with the previews and such, but if the parents haven't seen that, there's not much to do.

The only time to be sure the message is getting to the parents is at the point of sale.  I feel like the onus should be on the theater to point out when they are buying or picking up the tickets that the movie is rated R.  I get it, they don't want to give a refund, but the backlash could be really bad.

Umm maybe because it has a rating that people should use as a guideline...

Seriously?

there should still be a societal obligation to point out to a parent that this movie is an outlier from every other Marvel movie that has come before.  Again.

Seriously? There is a societal obligation in place, it's called the Rating System. It's there for movies like this. If a parent can't take the 2 seconds it takes to look at the rating of a movie (Which is on the Movie poster, the board that lists the show times, the ticket, and prominently displayed before the movie actually starts, among other places) then they have terrible parenting skills and the their kids seeing an R rated film is the least of their issues.

I watched the show and it does have potential but the ability to time travel at will makes the plot hole analyst in me shine.

Spoiler for Hiden:
For instance the whole plot in the first episode was about finding Vandal Savage so they could kill him. Well the Professor/Son guy gives them pictures of Savage with very identifiable locations and dates. I.E. hop in the damn time machine, go to that place and kill him. Show over.

The same goes for the future. They know exactly where he will be and when. So just go there and kill him. Once again show over

Also, the biggest problem this show may have in the long run is having way too many characters. There are too many people to focus on.

I'm not sure how much of the other two shows you watch(ed), and/or if you saw the 2-part crossover?  From that perspective, it didn't feel like too many people for me, since the majority of the characters were introduced slowly over time and had all their backstories told.  But I can definitely see that if you are coming in cold it could be confusing.

As far as plot hole analysis, you'll have a tough time since they have both time travel AND magic/mysticism, which pretty much gives them carte blanche to do whatever they want.

Spoiler for Hiden:
If you saw the crossover, they already "killed" him, but it didn't stick lol.

I have watched the other shows from the beginning. One example I can give about my concern from episode one was when they had to show scenes of each of the characters deciding to leave. This literally took about 15 minutes and it was essentially the same damn scene each time, but with different characters. It could be a running problem, but my guess is that they will just lump the characters together for most scenes. My fear is that this will become another Walking Dead where there are just way too many characters and we can't wait for the underused ones to die off.

Well I went back and started replaying Unity because it's one of the only PS4 games I have that I haven't finished. Surprisingly after all of the patching and some time away from the game I am actually enjoying it this time. Currently I'm on sequence 10 of 12 so I know I will finish it this time and maybe even finish up some of the side content. If you can find the game for $10 bucks and you like Assassin's Creed games then I would say it's finally time to pick this one up. It's still no where near as enjoyable as ACIV was, but it's also not the complete mess that it was around launch. The removal of all the app requirements was a big bonus and the game's frame rate is solid now. I also haven't run into any game breaking bugs.

If you skip the side quests and don't succumb to the Ubisoft school of collection and just play the main story missions then this game is actually pretty decent.

But the hype with the new movie got to them and they finally got around to watching Episodes IV and V. At this point my daughter is convinced that Leah should pick Luke over Han Solo. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she watches Jedi. So believe it or not there are kids out there who still don't know all of the spoilers.

They said that going episodic was really the only way to get the job done properly, so it was this or nothing. They're going way beyond I think what most people were expecting from a remake; changing the combat and altering the gameplay in general, adding new content, using a new graphics engine, etc.

In my opinion, this is how "remasters" should be done. Rebuild it from the ground up, don't just increase the resolution and update the UI. It's great to see FF7 and Resident Evil 2 going this route.

I'm fine with it being episodic, provided that the episodes are not several months or more apart. Anything more than 3 months would be a deal killer for me, and I'd probably wait until 2022, when they would release the full game on disc-- as a VR remastered ultra remastered edition.

I'm still waiting for Half Life 2 Episode 3.

I finished this up last Friday. Playing on the default difficulty level I had a finish time of just over 16 hours and I ended up with 84 deaths. I would bet somewhere around 30 of those deaths came in level 10. The game definitely got harder as it went along, but level 10 was just cheap. Still I enjoyed the game and recommend it to anyone who loves RE4.

I picked this up when it was on sale on the PSN. I just finished up chapter 6 and so far I'm liking it. It definitely has a RE4 feel to it, which is awesome since that was my favorite game from the PS2 era. Like others have said the game's first couple of levels aren't great, but levels 3 through 6 have been good.

I'm also not finding it as difficult as some people say it is. Through Chapter 6 I would guess that I have died some where around 15 times (With several of the deaths coming when my AI partner died). So does the game get harder as it goes?

This game probably wouldn't have happened without Microsoft, same as Street Fighter V and Sony, so the fact it'll come to Playstation at all is pretty cool.

I'm sorry to barge into this thread again, but I just wanted to clarify this bit. I have to admit I can't find any sources now since the original announcement news have more or less drowned in the more recent news (including reviews), but as mentioned earlier in this thread, the game was well into development before Microsoft stepped in. It would have been made anyway, and for both consoles simultaneously. I've more or less gotten over the majority of my annoyance with this, but I'm still super pissed that Microsoft paid to have the developers keep their mouths shut about the deal they made. As a result, Microsoft gets to tell the whole story as they want it to be portrayed, which results in the "it wouldn't have been made without us" silliness. If it hadn't been for Internet pressure, we probably wouldn't even have known about next year's PS4 release yet.

I'm glad that the game appears to be awesome though, despite all the negativity I pour on it. Looking forward to playing it next year.

Ditto. I want to play it, but I can wait.

I played the first two single player levels this morning. So far it's nothing to write home about. I think the old level design with limited pathways is really played out at this point. Mission two actually tries to make a point about how there are multiple routes to take to reach your objective, but in the end it boils down to going low, going high or going down the middle.
