They look like good dogs. I live in Ohio though and according to your profile your location is in your pants. So I'm not sure how practical it would to actually pick up and meet the dogs.

JK, Georgia is still far. But good luck, they deserve a good home.

Hate to say it, but anti-aliasing isn't even there for them to enable. I'm with you on wishing Nintendo had included it.

Are you sure? I mean we have had AA technology going back to the freaking Geforce 256 (or whatever it was called) and the Voodoo 3. If ATI didn't even include it at all on their chip I would be surprised.

Everybody in my section of work hasn't seen A Christmas Story. How the hell has anyone missed that movie? THe one guy had never even heard of it?  eek

..."Ragile... it must be Italian", " I think that says Fragile"...

I am really considering going to the museum this year around Christmas time.

http://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com/

I was just there on Saturday. My Wife is really in to the movie and she loved it. You can take a tour of the house, there is a separate museum and a separate gift shop. The whole thing took about an hour to tour. I wouldn't recommend going to Cleveland just to see the house, but if you are in the area any way then it's a fun little stop. The odd part is that it is literally in the middle of a neighborhood. So it is surrounded by residential houses. And there is a bar/restaurant within 100 feet of the house. It's weird.

I have an old HP laptop. It's a 900 Mhz Celeron with 256 Megs. It has a 20 Gig HD, a DVD/RW drive. I run XP on it. The biggest problem with it is that the battery runs out in about an hour of unplugged time, once plugged in it is good though. Let me know if you're interested.

OK - I'm pretty much back in full-swing with LOTRO.  Of course, now I have the exact same problem I always have in MMO's.  I love the class I am playing until I group with another class and watch them do their stuff.  Which causes me to want to play their class.  Until I see another class do something awesome, which makes me want to play their class.  It's a never ending circle of "the grass is always greener" that I suffer from in no other aspect of my life other than choosing MMO character classes.  Seriously, just go ahead and add onto the pile of "You are a total nerd" tokens I am accumulating by my computer desk.

Also, now that I've had more time to spend with the Warden (currently lvl.18), I have come to the following conclusions:
1.  One of the most fun solo classes I've ever played in an MMO.
2.  Other than 'semi-tanking' and above average dps - he doesn't exactly offer the group anything special.  He is a "selfish" class in terms of group play.
3.  His gambit system offers more flexibility to the way he plays as he levels higher and gets more options.  In other words, he just gets more fun to play as time goes on.  He can "change" his role in a fight literally during the fight.  Pretty damn neat.
4.  He plays "fast".  I don't know how to explain this except to contrast it with something like the Loremaster.  The Warden wades in and just goes to work.  Bam-Bam-Bam-Gambit!  Bam-Bam-Gambit!  Bam-Bam-Bam-Gambit!  Great fun.

My Ward is up to lvl 23 and at lvl 22 you get a really kick ass DPS attack, it uses sword ,shield, sword, then i's a three hit combo attack for about 50 each hit. I can down most lvl 22s with a knock down spear, then a crit strike, then follow up with the 3 hit gambit. By that time they are mostly dead.

depth and variety of PvE content and places to adventure in, along with a generally helpful and relatively mature community. So for me, it's the place to be.

I agree with that statement about LoTR 100%. I would also add in that it has a better storyline and quests associated with the storyline, than any other MMO I have ever played. This is thanks in large part to the Book system. I love the fact that they still have a TON of more content they can add to the game. Rohan, Gondor, Mordor, all of that needs to be added and will probably take several expansions to do so.

Sounds good to me. I am wondering if Javelins are a woodworking skill or a weaponsmithing skill? If they are woodworking, I can make you javelins.  Well, if you were on Elemendril anyway.  tear

Fishing is just a hobby and AFIK the fish aren't really worth keeping. I think there was some player talk of making them at least modest food buff items (maybe equivalent of basic rations) so the hobby would have a little utilitarian value.

Can you see if you can make me a javelin for my 15 warden?

The Warden can use just about every single handed melee weapon right away. In theory it's supposed to be best with Spears (javelin has its own separate slot for tossing), but I've not to Level 6 seen any spear-specific melee skills.

There is a Gambit I think is unlocked at 6 or 7 that looks like it is designed for a spear. But im not sure if it requires it. You have to hit the shield then attack combo, then the gambit activates.

What's your Warden's name? I will look you up tonight. I should be on a good bit after work.

Does anyone have a socket 939 Motherboard with a PCI Express slot laying around? I could trade you a PS3, PSP, DS, or Wii game for it. I found an Acer online for $38.00 but I would rather trade for one if someone out there has one they want to get rid of.

I'm not a huge country fan but I do listen to Outlaw Country quite a bit. They have some good DJs like Hillbilly Jim (yes the wrestler) and some Imus guy with a chick who whistles when she talks (think John McCain whistle times 10). They also have a show with Johny Knoxville on Saturdays sometimes. If you like Jerry Reid, Willy Nelson, Hank Williams Jr., etc.. then you should like Outlaw Country.

Hey guys I thought I would let you  know that Yellowking and I are going to be playing Mines of Moria with the game's developers tonight. Is there anything you guys want us to ask while we are playing? I think what they are going to do is give us pre-rolled high lvl toons and take us on a tour of all the new content. I would be happy to ask any questions that you guys have. It starts in a couple of hours so there's not a lot of time to think about it.
