Man I am glad you guys are okay!  That is simply craziness!

Do most bullets typically penetrate houses from a distance (long or short) so easily or does it take certain types of bullets to do that?  I have heard about near misses, injuries, and deaths from this sort of thing but I don't really know much about guns.

Just really relieved to hear you guys are okay.

If the guy was hunting deer, then he was probably using buck shot, which is basically a very big slug of metal designed to kill a deer instantly. It could easily go through several walls of a home, if it didn't hit any of the framing. I would assume it hit the siding first, then a couple of layers of insulation, then drywall. None of that stuff is very thick or hard. Then it kept going through other soft materials. A buck shot could easily do this.

I wonder if gay rednecks would get along with gay orientals? I think they both need to go in the house just to find out.  icon_lol

I can answer some of these:

You can actually buy the stones from various venders. I know the hardstones can be bought from a vendor at the very beginning of the Dwarf level, you don't even have to kill anything to get to him.

As far as gear, most of it comes from drops or as items laying around in the game.

As far as magic goes, I find that I use the status heal magics a lot depending on the level, for instance you will need the poison repair spell for level 2-2.

Nice, U2K with a Dreamcast in the house, but no games to play on it. Watch him go nuts.

No, he'd just get onto the computer and program all his games for the Dreamcast right then and there.

This could turn Ceekay and U2K into enemies, since Ceekay will be hogging the computer. I see a fight.

So I was thinking about all of the unique characters we have here at GT and going back to OO and even the GG days, and I thought that some of them would make a really good Big Brother reality type show. Stick them all in a house together in the middle of nowhere, with just one TV and one computer and a ton of booze. Then sit back let the cameras roll and laugh. So here's my question, who must be on the cast? Here's my thinking in no particular order:

Drazzil - obvious choice
Peterock- let the fabulousness shine
MsDuncan- Hopefully we get outraged Duncan
Ceekay- Someone has to hog the computer and post 23555 times a day
DBT- you must have an old fart, it's reality TV show law

We would need some chicks too, but I'm not sure who to name there.

I have a brand new sealed copy of Prototype 360 FT. I'm looking for the following stuff:

Dragon Age (PC)
Ratchet & Clank Crack in Time
Prototype (PS3)
Infamous
Borderlands (PC or PS3)
Risen

Or make an offer I'm interested in PS3 and PC games.

This game has been high on my radar for some time. Does anyone know what RE games it covers this time? I've read RE2 and Code Veronica, but the last chronicles covered the timeline for 3 RE games?

It covers 2, Veronica and it has an all new storyline in South America that allegedly sets up RE 4.

South America? I thought the events in 4 took place in Spain?

Yeah 4 does take place in Spain. Not sure how it's all going to tie together, but this new story features Krouser.

In the latest addition to stuff we already knew, a dating site for beautiful people concluded that Britons are among the ugliest in the world with only 1 in 8 men being accepted to the site and only 3 in 20 women!  Granted, Canadians didn't fare much better with only 23 and 24 percent respectively.  Apparently Norwegian women are pretty hot though.
Do any of our 'so ugly their mommas put a paper bag over their faces before kissing them' British members have any response? biggrin

I tried getting on that beautiful people web site to see who was getting accepted, but they blocked public access to it. I have the feeling that it is the type of thing that most people would be excluded from.

The Glade girl?  Really?  The Progressive one I can see, as she bears a faint resemblance to Lauren Graham.  But Glade?  Nuh uh.

The problem, I think, is the word "girl." The Glade lady looks to be 40ish in that pic (never seen her on the TV so I don't know), whereas the Progressive girl -- whose name is clearly Flo -- is probably 25-30 (based again on the pic provided). Not really a fair contest. I would buy products from either of them, though. Or both of them at the same time.

I know Glade is air spray, but what's Progressive?

According to her IMDB progressive girl is almost 40.

I watched both this and the free UFC event. After watching both the one thing that really sticks out at me is that the Strikeforce announcer is really annoying. Not Frank Shamrock, the other one that puts on the entirely fake voice and over inflects everything. Good lord is he bad. Also the first Strikeforce fight was pretty lame, and the wrestling style entrances are corny. Other than that I enjoyed the Strikeforce event just as much as the UFC one.

Funny how the libertards are chastising brett for doing exactly what they did when Bush was in office.

And they'll know we are Christian by our love....

Never cared for that song.

Also, wash your finger before you point at my spots. At least I'm aware of my own hypocrisy unlike the the pillars of left-wing thought on this board.

Edit: Sorry to call you on it, btw.

When most of the left criticized Bush it was for things like: outing CIA agents, getting the nation in to an unnecessary war (and lying in the process), no bid contracts, having closed door secret energy meetings, squandering good will after 9/11, lowering taxes and raising spending, crushing the 4th, 5th, and 8th amendments, Guantanamo, torture, pandering to the religious right, etc. Not for skipping a memorial event in Germany.

I think my favorite part is that the vampires are actually pretty bad ass and could kill a normal human without much of a problem. Also we get a lot of TnA.

Is Skirmishing something a character can do at an early level, or is it for high level characters only?

The very little I have read makes it sound like a super idea.

From what I understand it is something that can be done by almost every lvl, the skirmish instances will scale to player lvl and number of players.
