first 5 minutes had zero talking. Just them going to a house and clearing it out and looking for food. Too many walkers around so they left that house and kept travelling. Rick and Daryl go hunting and they see the prison. They travel to the prison and voila. You also see Michionne kicking ass and it turns out that Andrea is sick so she has been taking care of her - for how long it is not known. I believe the tension could be due to them all being dog tired and hungry. They spent the Winter moving around trying to get somewhere that is safe and comfortable for all of them - but mostly for the whore . In the Talking Dead after the show I think they talked about the fact that she is adding stress to the rest of the team because they all know that the baby is close and that a crying baby will be hard to keep quiet = give their position away etc. Also I believe that Rick is not happy with whore wife due to her reaction at the end of the last season when he admitted to killing Shane and then Carl shooting him in the head.

Beat the game on Friday. Never found a legendary either despite extra magic find Got tons of unique items most of which were not of any use to my Engineer. Really liked the game and feel that I more than got my monies worth. I think I ended somewhere around lvl 51. Not sure if I will dive into NG+ right now.

My feelings from the pilot episode are: I am solidly in the 'meh' camp thus far. There is something that smacks of cheap production value for me thus far - I can't quite put my finger on it just yet though. For instance - 15 years later and Miles has not aged? Come on - don't we have makeup artists???? The premise is cool but I certainly wasn't blown away the way I was hoping for based on advanced critic rave reviews. No character jumps out at me either. I can't help but think Hunger Games when I see the female lead - the leather jacket and tights is what leads me here. The ending part was just so 'Lost-ish' for me. I was duped by Prometheus already this Summer - fool me once.... As for Ep2: Still not very impressed. I am still in the meh camp. I could care less about any of the characters at this point - the re-intro of the mom was the only thing that sort of piqued my interest.......but just barely. How could no-one know about the 'rebels' who live in the show's world? I mean come on!! Sure there is no email but there are people who travel from place to place and I would assume talk about what they had seen and heard from other areas. So by my count we have 4 groups: - Militia - who want the power back on to have access to military tech
- Rebels - who want to restore the US back to what it was - assume with electricity?
- Normal people - who are trying to live day to day
- Randall (who I will label as 'the others'
) - my guess is that they/he want to remain without power for everyone?
I think I will give this show one or two more views before I take it off the DVR schedule.

I think that it is way too early to paint this announcement about an announcement of upcoming notes supporting a future patch as being detrimental to the game. That being said - they don't have a really strong leg to stand on either. I would just like to see some uber powerful weapon drops to be honest. I am tired of seeing lvl 63 and below items that are laughable at best being dropped for me.

What many are also missing is that while Bane's strength makes him a formidable adversary and a match for Batman's training and abilities, his intellect also made him a truly challenging foe. He wasn't only scary strong, but he was scary smart, and I think that, when combined with his overwhelming strength and absolute ruthlessness, made him that much more fearsome.
That is certainly the comic lore but it was not very well laid out in the film. The spots where I think we are supposed to see genius in Bane never really cut it for me. Perhaps I need to have it more clearly laid out. Probably you were trying too hard to understand what Bane was saying, to understand his genius. I know that was the case with me. OH I understood Bane MOST of the movie but anyone who says there weren't at least one or two moments where you had to cup an ear, point it at the screen and yet still all you heard was something like "Esht tahm fuh Kosham to havsht hish wekonin." WHAT? I know there was at least ONE point where that's what I heard. Heck, I gotta take my mom to see it just so I can figure out the Bane lines I missed. Another voice thing that struck me in the process of The Dark Knight Trilogy event last Thursday was that Bale's voice as Batman was so much closer to being clear in Batman Begins. I mean, you could tell it was Christian Bale. Not Christian Bale emulating Clint Eastwood at age 73 (as in TDK). In other words, in BB, you didn't feel the need to yell at the screen, "HEY BATMAN! TAKE A THROAT LOZENGE!" I don't understand. Seriously maybe Chris Nolan needs a better voice director/coach or whatever. I think he's getting bad advice. Thank god I took my son because I totally missed the line from Fox & screw: because I was still scratching my head as to how one of the ending scenes could have happened.

geez - I remember a post earlier mentioning that they even went back to 'enhance' Bane's dialogue due to poor reception. I hope I don't have challenges. Heck - I could not even understand from the 1st trailer when he says that he's Gotham's reckoning.

now that I think back to the Lindelof interview I get a little more peeved.
Lost was frustrating yet entertaining - but ultimately I feel that the writers wanted to stroke their own manhood over and over. This hubris came through with flying colours in Prometheus - I can still see Lindelof beating off in a corner like a maniac happy in his content that he stoked the cerebral fires again for those of us who aren't as 'smart' as he is.
Lindelof confirms in the article that the original screenplay author is 'OK' with the re-write - I call BS. I bet that guy is seething now that his potential Xenomorph Summer blockbuster has been relegated to something that needs a sequel to explain what ultimately should have been handled in 2hrs and a $13 movie ticket.
Listen - I am a smart man - but I don't need to weave a web to prove that I am a smart man. Fucking guy is so full of himself.
Quote of the year for me: This is a film I wanted to love and I hate it all the more because of it.
- Thanks for that one WorkingMike.

you know whats funny?..... I saw this last week and liked it for what it was. Left the theater and thought that I could see it again later with my wife etc. But now after reading this thread over the past week I am getting angry - no wait that is too harsh. I am 'irked' now that I have been drawing parallels between what I saw and what is being posted here. Boy oh boy did he ever flub it - I think that it may have all started with the re-write and adding that Lost screenwriter to the mix http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/05/11/damon-lindelof-prometheus-life-after-lost/ That new screenwriter (Damon L.) stated in an early post link (above) that he told Ridley that there was too much Alien material (chest bursters/face huggers / aliens) in the original screenplay and suggested that the movie could be made without making the direct links that the fans want and need. What a douche! If I want artsy fartsy make me think I will head back to university and enroll in philosophy and sociology classes. If they expect to make a sequel and make people happy they had better be prepared to answer all the questions and spoon feed the audience with explanations and details. Wrap it all up with nice paper and bows and ribbons. Now I'm mad!

brutal - just brutal. I just clicked the above link and along with the image of shoes above all I can think about is how Hark must look like the guy from Silence of the Lambs when we play online together..... ugh. someone hasn't been paying attention to forum spam lately The silence of the lambs reference was probably the funniest thing ever No Punctuation needed "would you play with me? I'd play with me."

question.
Something that has been bothering me. In the 2nd to last episode we see Stannis mounthing the battlements and being 'over taken' by the castle defenders. Then in the last episode he is back home with the red hair lady.
If what I perceived as being taken prisoner actually happened why did they let him go? Would they not have killed him?

Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: Lance Armstrong to be charged with doping by USADA

This article: http://www.thestar.com/sports/article/1211018--lance-armstrong-facing-new-doping-charges?bn=1 has some details around the latest accusations. I find Lance's response to be a curious one: Armstrong, who has been in France training for a triathlon, maintained his innocence, saying in a statement: “I have never doped, and, unlike many of my accusers, I have competed as an endurance athlete for 25 years with no spike in performance, passed more than 500 drug tests and never failed one.”You'll notice that he denies any doping (steroids) but does not refute the blood workups that he is also accused of. His comments around 'spike in performance' lead me to believe that he is resting on the facts that he won 7 straight years and was also a 'consistent' performer for many of the 25yrs of his career. A very careful and planned response IMHO. I vote guilty. But then again I could also care less.
