Gran Turismo IV is going to use 1080i, and from what I've read it looks amazing.

I have my doubts as to whether or not that's actually true.  IGN is the only place reporting that, which flies in the face of every other previous preview that said that they weren't even able to get 480p working well.

This review confirms it as well.

I got screwed by a Best Buy rebate a couple of years ago for 60 bucks.. That still pisses me off.

Has anyone tried the new "easy" Staples rebates? It looks like nothing needs to be mailed - just type in the UPC code online and a few other things. I hope more stores convert to this type of rebate plan, though I doubt they will since they plan on people not getting in the correct forms.

I finished it yesterday. Is easily my favorite game so far for the GBA (though I've only played about 5). I didn't find all the secrets, though (I didn't realize I was in the last dungeon until it was too late).

It is most definitely 3D...here are the scans from Play Magazine.  The only 2D Castlevania games you'll be seeing will be on handhelds till the end of the world I would guess.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is an absolute classic.  Love that game.  Though, a friend somewhat "spoiled" me in showing me how to win

Any idea whether this program will automatically detect and configure wireless devices used for console gaming? Getting my X-Box to work online everytime I want to play is a hassle I could do without.

Sure, we may find more out about the Toy Plane.  But in the end, its still just a stupid toy plane.  There is never anything juicey and real in these shows.  Its just some sentimental Toy plane, or a Letter, or a fathers empty coffin.  Its kinda getting me annoyed.  

Why can't someone actually be bad?  They were so close to painting Kate in an interesting and different light and then they made her kill 3 people over a toy plane?  Weak.

I agree that the Doc is getting boring.  I don't look forward to seeing him anymore either.  My favorite characters now are Hurley and Sawyer.

Last, if the Shannon hooks up with Sayeed I am goign to puke.

Kate did not kill people over a toy plane.  kate killed people becuse they went against the plan; they where never supposed to hurt anyone.   As for the doc i gotta agree, im really starting to hate him.  


A friend of mine is one of those people that reads spoilers all the time.  He informs me that in 3 or 4 weeks we will finaly get Hurley's story, and i cant wait for that.   He was right about tonight being Kate #2 so he might be right about that too.

And it is possible that what was in the envelope during the bank robbery is not the same thing that was in the envelope on the island (since they never did show Kate open the envelope in the flashback).

Has anyone found a work around for this problem? I just got the game (the DVD Limited Edition version) today through a trade, and I keep having problems installing the game. I get a message halfway through installation telling me the the file proga~1.cab is corrupt. I read on one of the message boards that this might be due to certain DVD-drives rather than an actual corrupted disk. My drive is a Lite-on, also.

When we got an HDTV, we did notice that the analog channel didn't look as good as they had. I think it was just because the tv had more lines of resolution and so we could see the flaws in the picture better. After a couple of days, however, I got used to it and never really notice it anymore. To be honest, I didn't think it was that drastic a change in picture quality. That said, the beauty of HD is definitely worth the picture degradation of the other the lower channels.

Could it be that the picture was stretched out to fit your tv? Did your wife try viewing a HD channel to see how the picture looked?

Easily PIT. Just look at the Bal/NYG game for an example of how bad Eli can be (3 tournovers by himself). Add to that the fact that Barber has regained his fumblitis and the Giants O-line is awful, and it seems that PIT should be a good start.

I thought the game was pretty fun. I have an ATI card (9500 Pro) and didn't notice any problems. Didn't try the multiplayer, though.

Actually, I had a similar situation a couple of years ago. In general, we had the cat and dog sleep in the same area. After a bit of hesitation, our cat got used to the dog and they would even sleep curled up together.

Laner's IGN link seems to indicate that with normal use the battery life would be around 4 hours. While not the longest amount of time, it's nothing close to the 90 minutes mentioned in the Gamespot article.

I would be interesting in KoToR 2. I have a couple of older games that I would be willing to trade (maybe 2 or 3 for one?). Here's what I have:

One thing that I've noticed when watching FOX sunday football on HD vs. the regular fullscreen broadcast is that there's a time delay of about 5 seconds. The regular broadcast is normal and the same game broadcast in HD is 5 seconds behind.

Maybe this is just an issue I have with Adelphia, maybe not? Anybody else have this issue with their local cable provider?

Another thing I've noticed is that one of my local TV channels audio is delayed about 2-3 seconds behind their normal broadcast. When watching the HD broadcast on the specific channel the lips aren't synched with the audio. It only happens when watching their nightly 5-6 o'clock news. It's a CBS affiliate.

HD Monday Night football is usually a couple of seconds behind the normal feed. I think the HD delay fairly common when watching live sports.

P.S. I'm on Time Warner Cable, so I don't think it's due to your provider.
