I'm not a big Ang Lee fan; but since I knew he was directing I had set my expectations at just the right level to enjoy the movie. I loved the smashing etc, but I also LOVED the visual presentations (remembering the scene where banner was in the lab with the generals daughter and the bootlick).

I was able to forgive the slow start... I mean, Ang needed to build the plausability, right? smile

I say her extra dude-lung means that he can stare into her dreamy blue man-eyes longer while kissing her. Then she shows him all the other spare "dude-parts" she installed and he ends up waking up in excruciating pain with a size 7 poop chute.

And then Fires his ass. (for the second time, I suppose).

I still say Hulk for $3.99 is $3.99 more than it's worth.

I disagree. The Hulk was a fantastic remake. It at least included the conflicts in banners life.

Bana can't act, but we don't shit on Berry's head for her pathetic "storm". Oh wait, we do! biggrin

In all seriousness, I enjoyed the Hulk way more than I did X3 or Punisher. I imagine I'll still prefer it more than Ghost Rider.
15767  Gaming / Console / PC Gaming / How many consoles (same kind) have you been through? on: August 02, 2006, 12:59:36 PM
I'm on my 3rd xbox360; only because I COULD trade them in.

My first one was loud, my second one seems to hang / overheat when playing DW5.

So I got a new one yesterday (my buddy manages an EBGames, so no big deal for me).

I will have a fourth one next year at this time, right at the end of my EB warranty.

She had an eye transplant with a dude. You're fawning over dude-eyes. That is so not cool.

What if she bought the discarded remains of a science donor? What other parts has she swapped out? I wonder if her extra dude-lung helps her hold her breath longer....

Ascendant, awesome job hijacking someone elses birthday party. I bet they'd share the pic of the big fat porn lady with cake with you. biggrin

Happy birthday guys Cool ... I hope the birthday ninja brings you your arch-nemisis's "peaches" wrapped in a lovely bow.

make sure you're not swinging at the time, or you can't change equipment.

As to the items, there is no paper-doll that I know of. The weapon models DO change though.

Can't beat the demo.  I don't know what it is.  The first time I died because I was stupid early on.  The second time I died what I imagine is late in the demo past the landslide because those silvery-armoured goblins who can block ganged up and kicked my ass.  The game is going to need exhaustive checkpoints because I already don't feel like starting over again.  And yeah, your army filled up at the lead paint buffet before they came out to fight.  Stupid is as stupid does, and they don't do shit.

It's ok I guess.  I'm just running around hammering buttons.

K. Imagine if someone walked into Oblivion hammering buttons.

Read the controls and the combos. I died twice in the demo; and then I looked through the combos and the item equip stuff.

I load up the soldiers and then move forward, keeping them in defence (down on d pad). You need to kill guys to get red orbs, you need to use red orbs to get blue ones so you can use your big powerup attacks. Also, explore all the areas to get your good stuff.

I found that when fighting the harder guys, you actually need to block (which is pretty reasonable). Also the X,Y,Y,Y,Y combo is awesome (it's like Chun Li's hyper kick).

I'll drop some full impressions when I have time.

you all suck.

And I'd like to point out, it's rarely images that kill threads for me.

Generally discussing which condiments you eat placenta with stops a thread dead in it's tracks.

I prefer syrup.

I've never believed in 'fad' type diets, like Atkins, sorry Knightshade smile.  The only real way to lose weight is to exercise and eat less.

Atkins was a fad; high protein, fibre and raised fat diets have been around for a LONG time.

The thing is that a low carb diet is also known as another name : Hypoglycemic control diet. It prevents elevated blood-sugar, thusly reducing insulin levels and reducing ones chances of getting type 2 diabetes (IIRC).

Also, I used to weigh 365lbs (at 5'9"!) and I'm down to 247lbs. Exercise has had a part in it, but if you talk to any specialists in the dietary field, they will all tell you that your food intake has the biggest impact on weight loss.

I am a testament to that. I doubt I could get below 180lbs at my current frame (I've been in the gym 3-5 days a week for 1.25hrs with anaerobic training). I'm moving into having a separate cardio workout, but that's slow going. at my height, I'm a pretty thick. I'm bigger than my old pic put up way back when.

I "fell off" my high-protein diet about 1.5 years ago when I went to a dietician who recommended a "moderate" diet as you've suggested. To be fair I've tried to stick to the guidelines; but carbs do NOT fill you up. I am going back to the high-protein next week. I want to get down to ~220 by the end of the year. (and I'd like to be able to break my 315 bench-press ceiling).

Xbox 360 party genre game from Hudson arrives in the U.S. this holiday

Microsoft announced today that “Fuzion Frenzy 2” will make its way to store shelves in the United States this holiday. Published by Microsoft and developed by Hudson, “Fuzion Frenzy 2” is a party game for Xbox 360 set in space that combines futuristic arcade action, superior mini-games, tournament modes, and custom tailored games with online features such as multiplayer and customizable tournaments.

Players are able to create their own unique tournaments that can be shared on Xbox Live while building achievement points. Radical themes and characters utilize the visual HD technology of the Xbox 360. Gamers can also use tournament cards that are either won or given out to defeat their opponents in rank, select the next mini-game to be played, or choose their next destination planet.

“Fuzion Frenzy 2” offers a variety of 40 mini games that a wide audience can play. Players battle new tournaments on seven different planets by competing in games such as the Collision Collusion, Turbine Jumper, and Super Slam Dunk which is a advanced slam dunk shootout played in low gravity where players try to steal the ball from their challengers to score a slam dunk.

If they make this a $40 game, I'm in.
