Not sure if you've tried this, but discharging your Pc can fix a lot of these problems. Unplug PC power, hit power button, plug power back in and turn in. This is different from restarting the PC or even unplugging and plugging back in. hitting the power button forces the power to be discharged. If you have the case open, you can sometimes see the fan kick in for a bit.

Such an odd experience for me watching FTWD where not only do I not care about the majority of the characters, in most cases I am hoping they will die. Definitely makes for a much less stressful experience.
I wouldn't say I don't care about the characters, but I definitely haven't grown attached to them, so I agree about the stress part.

I'm still a little confused/leery on just exactly what the escalation was between just regular zombie activity and suddenly everything blowing up and on fire. I was really hoping for a more gradual development, but I suppose having a sudden collapse is more exciting to watch. I just don't see zombies setting things on fire and blowing shit up. I realize some of it was military sanctioned, but certainly not all the small fires that seemed to spawn all over the place.
It is almost like they just assumed more fire= cooler... I don't recall anything at the end of last season to explain the fires near the house especially.

@chandlerriggs if it makes you feel any better i still don't know who got killed and it's been like 6 months since i read the script
No Carl... It doesn't make me feel any better..
I'd say Carl and Rick are the only 2 that would be considered super safe so he should be fine. I wonder how that is going to work for the rest though.. do they show up for work one day and get told "Oh, you didn't get the memo?" at this point in the comics we know who gets it, but comics wise there is a lot of canon fodder available as there are multiple people that are gone from the comics by now (or not even in them) IIRC in the comics, this scene only had 4-5 people in it.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!?!??!?!?
Spoiler for Hiden:
Ummm can you say biggest copout ever????? It was like the best porn build up ever with no release lol. I guess the good news is no one is actually dead yet. The bad news is we have to wait an eternity and the impact will be gone. Bad decision for the show, IMHO.
Yes. My wife was cursing up a storm over that..(I convinced her to watch even though she didn't want to ruin her birthday) This is going to be a horrible 7 months...

Don't kid yourself, the suits don't give a shit how these movies do here. They're dumbing these things down on purpose. Less dialogue=less to get lost in translation.
I don't think that was the problem with this movie. It wasn't dumbed down so much as bloated up. As Punisher said it was more like they tried to mesh 3 movies into one. Introduction to Justice League. Death of Superman. Batman vs. Superman. Any one of these would have made a strong movie on its own, but they clearly wanted to jumpstart the franchise to compete with Marvel. Should be interesting to see if the strategy pays off for them over the long haul. Personally I'm enjoying the DC TV series universe(s) more than these endlessly "dark" movies.
This^^ The problem is they jumped right to Captain America Civil War and are working their way backwards. which doesn't make sense. Civil War will have an impact because we saw how they all grew together. Even the Dark Knight series was well after they had worked together. Too much, too soon and a horrible Lex Luthor... They could have just had a doomsday movie and still found a reason for batman and wonder woman to be in it... or even a small confrontation in the beginning with bats and supes.
My wife's birthday is on Sunday and she has stated that she will not watch Sunday's episode until Monday so that her birthday isn't ruined. She already knows that I know something is coming up, but I couldn't honestly say to who.. There is enough divergence from the comic to make it anybodies guess... Daryl isn't in the comic, Carol has been gone from the comic for a while now, as mentioned, Glenn gets it in the comic, etc... I am thinking it has to be Glenn, Daryl, Carol, or Abraham.. by the end of the episode they are at a point in the comic where all 4 are already gone...
My wife and I saw it over the weekend and overall enjoyed it... I agree with a lot of people who felt Lex was mis-cast. I like Jesse, but this wasn't a role for him. I don't blame him though, because on top of this, I don't think that the role was written too well. It did come across as Luthorjokery... Luthor is supposed to be intelligent and cunning, not a nut job... I also felt like they crammed too many different movies into one and it wasn't needed. Bats and Supes did not need to start off as adversaries.. they could have worked to that over a few different movies. I thought that Affleck did fine as Bats and Wayne. My wife wasn't a fan, but for some reason she's not a fan of him in general except partially in Dogma.
$1,500 on my first day of playing 3 card poker in Atlantic City.. Had to have the dealer help me the whole time since I had no clue what I was doing. In fact, when I one I thought I had won $100 and was happy...
I won a mini motorcycle at a paintball shooting contest
I won a complete set of graphical discs from 3D World. I think it was about $400 worth of discs.
and then just various little lottery winnings. $50 is probably the most at one time.

Is Division at all like, Metro:Last Light?
Any screens I've seen, remind me of Metro's look...
It's got the following which is similar:
- City is in a bad way - Environment is very detailed and lived in feel - You fight other gangs which each have their own distinct feel to them - You get glimpses of how difficult life is from the few NPCs you see wandering around or huddling about
But a the big differences: - It's a covered based shooter (ala Gears of War) - No supernatural elements - RPG elements (leveling up / crafting / multiplayer co-op/pvp)
I wouldn't immediately make a connection between the two after have playing both. But I would say UbiSoft has created as detailed a world as 4A Games. You'll find yourself going through apartments and given the details of what went in to making those apartments you can put together of what might have happened there - e.g. it didn't end well, or the people living there made a good go at it. There's some nice moments in The Division you come across.
Yeah, I expected the usual cookie cutter apartments and while there is some repetition in layouts, the extra stuff does change in some instances.. In some, you'll see stock piles of food (which you can't grab), in others you'll see clothes thrown around like they left in a hurry, in others you get the sense they were victims of a home invasion, etc..
Yeah, I've been playing on and off. mostly weekends though. I saw Engine online the other day and it was weird. He showed up on radar but I couldn't see him when I got close. Guess it's supposed to be that way? Had a cool weather affect last night though. First time in a Blizzard with really low visibility... Looked cool. I also have not gone dark yet and I'm only level 10 right now.

So I've read mixed things about this.. I suck at multiplayer.. Being a dad, 4 kids, gaming time is limited and I just can't compete! So is this a decent single player experience or is it primarily multiplayer? Figured you all would know as a google search has conflicting info.
Based on the beta it seems like there might be plenty there for a single player experience. Sort of like an MMO where there are other people around but you're mostly doing your own quests.
I didn't even bother to try out the PvP competitive Dark Zone stuff in beta, so I'm hoping that there is plenty of other content outside of that for us that prefer more single player focused stuff.
I feel the same although I did try the dark zone for about an hour... The pop stuff wasn't too bad and I didn't get jumped at all. Everyone seemed to get along and when someone tried killing an agent, the game mechanics led to multiple people hunting them down..
I've pretty much given up trying to guess which main person is gonna get it. There is enough divergence with the comics that they aren't always a good indicator of what's gonna happen. There are people on the show that are either dead or don't exist in the comics that I always think their time is up... Daryl comes to mind at times and while I would not like it, a part of me wants to see what happens if they do that... I mean in this day and age, it should be easy to find the writers home addresses... (Although that might also mean he can start on boondocks saints 3)

Rittchard, you probably want to spoiler some of that...
Whaaa? I thought all my comments were just pure conjecture...
Anyway, last night's episode kept me on the seat of my pants, I don't think I took a breath for about half an hour. I don't remember this playing out in the comic like this, but wow, just wow.
Spoiler for Hiden:
I'm thinking Daryl might be the sacrifice in place of Glenn. No other character would be more devastating to the fan base. Or they might just stick with Glenn, which leads Maggie to cut her hair. I don't remember what sparks that in the comic, unless she loses her baby or something like that. All we know so far is that the script made people feel ill/sick just reading it, so it's gotta be pretty bad. The only ones I think they wouldn't kill of are Rick and Carl and probably Michonne. Rick and Carl are pretty much the heartbeat of the whole show/comic, and Michonne is kind of irreplaceable because of the samurai sword. There's just too much goodness having that, even if it's just visually (both for the show and comic).
Some of this is kind of spoliery I would think for the comics and show. In the comics:
Spoiler for Hiden:
Glenn gets killed by Negan
so your talks on that character are right on the money.
