It's over!  I guess that the show got cancelled so that was the series finale.

In spite of all the things that went wrong, there were just about enough good elements that I'm glad I watched it.

Sadly a missed opportunity overall, it seems like they didn't learn enough from the mistakes they made the first go-around.   And made really poor decisions such as with Zachary Levi's character.  I don't know who vetted it, but even the description on paper sounded problematic to me.

Still have to watch the last 2 episodes, but I don't believe it was canceled..more like it was written/expected to only be one season.

At least now we know someone on the list who isn't in the grave...

Spoiler for Hiden:
I like the way that was presented.  I had pretty much convinced myself it wasn't going to be Felicity, in part because she's so much the heart of the show, and also in part after she already got shot up at the mid-season finale.  But it was nice to have that confirmed, and also see the change in her demeanor.  Of course now it begs the question of who IS in the grave.  My original guess was Speedy but that would seem to have less impact on Felicity herself, who seems to have gone into "kill-em" reversal in the future.  The way it was shot I would have guessed it was her mom, but I've also read that it was supposed to be a main character from season 1, which pretty much leaves Diggle or police chief guy.  Given that there's 4 months to go, I'm guessing maybe he ends up marrying her mom, and then gets killed making it more personally devastating for her.  Just a guess.

The other thing I'm wondering about is whether the killer in question is also a twist.  It appears to be Dark but given we've already had months of kind of the same thing, Team Arrow unsuccessfully going after him, the implication is it's going to be ANOTHER FOUR MONTHS of the same?  Hard to believe.  Maybe the killer will be Malcolm, or even Speedy gone psycho, which would make for a pretty cool plotline.

Spoiler for Hiden:
I believe they say kill "him" a few times, so unless Speedy also has a sex change...

I can't justify a nearly $700 price tag (including tax and shipping) for this thing, that's too high a price to be a beta tester.

Like the Xbox One Elite Controller I just can't justify the cost.  I was in potentially at 299.99 but I can't do 599 price point
Same thing here.. Was thing $300, with "maybe" a push to $350, so I'm out for now. Will just wait until some stores have demo units and play with them there.

My biggest fear not seeing it opening weekend is that avoiding spoilers is going to be nearly impossible, especially when I get back to work on Monday. We have one huge Star Wars fan guy in our department that talks EXTREMELY LOUDLY and has no concept of spoilers. He has ruined countless TV episodes and movies for me because he talks so loudly on the phone you can't avoid hearing him. It's so bad I literally thought about seeing if I could work from home Monday to avoid him.
Obviously the correct answer is to quit now and go stand in line for day one tickets.. Problem Solver = Me.

I am having a lot more fun with Supremacy mode.  Walker assault wasn't doing it for me.  Love the Fighter Squadron still too.  Needs more maps though, 4 maps is silly.  Wish there were more weapons and customization options too.  I think it's lame they locked the rebel alien species way down starting at level 40.  Hope it has legs and the expansions are good.  I fully expect it will tie into the new film.  I know the first free one deals with Jakku, but still 29 years before TFA.

I also am loving fighter squadron. I was doing ok in the ground modes, sucked at fighter squadron via keyboard/mouse, hooked up my logitech joystick and out of 7 matches, came in on top in 6 of them. still having fun!

A couple weapons I picked up had ammo with them. I wasn't aware that choosing to do so was the same as a life or death choice.  To many of us, that's more akin to asking a child if they'd like to wear a red shirt or a blue shirt for the day.
You should never let a child wear a Red Shirt, especially on away missions.

Absolutely loved this last Sunday's episode.  So tightly plotted and action oriented, and yet they were able to include some backstory moments and plot movement for Enid.  And OMG Carol.  Carol.  Carol.  Wow, just wow.  So many great moments throughout the episode, I wouldn't even know where to start.  The only irritant for me is Morgan.  They are working too hard to have him counter Rick's philosophy.  The concept is good, but seriously when psychopaths are literally chopping up your friends with an axe, THEY NEED TO DIE.  There's no grey area there and they desperately are trying to create it.

Also, if you saw the Talking Dead afterwards it was absolutely hilarious.  Kevin Smith compares the episode to getting a blow job and then having someone keep continuing after you orgasm lol.  I also agreed with him that this was probably one of the top 4 episodes of the entire series (he also says top 20 episodes of all TV all time, which I also agree with).
My wife and I feel the same way about Morgan... Like him, but afraid he is going to go all holier than thou... Sometimes, in this environment you have to kill.. He just gave those people an opening to come back...and a gun...

I picked Gabriel.  He's a crazy loose cannon and let's face it, with the addition of Heath and Morgan, they are over their African American male quotient.  Not saying the producers are racists, but there does seem to be a glass ceiling.

I'm guessing a lot more than just one will die.  Probably Aaron's boyfriend (forgot his name), that annoying Nicholas guy, some more townspeople, maybe Notcop Fistbump chick.  Of the core cast, I'd guess the only "safe" characters are Rick, Carl, Michonne, Daryl and maybe Carol and Maggie.  Everyone else is high likelihood, since you know they'll want to take out at least one "main" character at some point to kick fans in the nuts without actually causing a massive backlash.

I predict that we will lose one of those safe characters this season.

Seems likely. How many dramas go >7 seasons? Won't surprise me if TWD only has one or two more seasons ahead, especially now that FTWD is waiting to inherit.

I voted for Gabriel, who has seemed expendable from the moment they introduced him. Plus, black male.
I don't know.. They still have a lot of source material to choose from and plenty of room to make up their own stories.

And then another grave comes into play afterwards but we knew that one was coming for the new show.

I'm still hooked.  I'm really enjoying Oliver and Felicity together, I didn't think I'd care but I really like them together.  I also like that Speedy finally gets to do some fighting and her red outfit is pretty sweet.  The actress needs some work with the bow though lol, the way she holds it looks terribly awkward.  But who cares, it's all in good fun!

Spoiler for Hiden:
They definitely set that flashforward up to imply it's Felicity, but I highly doubt this show would kill her based on her popularity and the energy she brings to the show.  I'd say a higher chance is for Speedy to die for real this time, given her psycho tendencies.  Plus her death would have similar impact on Oliver as Felicity's, if not even more.

Spoiler for Hiden:
My vote for the grave is Greg from Accounting.

Ok, I found some clarification on the whole "zombie" thing via the Walking Dead Wiki.

Apparently the word zombie, as it relates to a person rising from the dead via voodoo, is a known term. It's apparently used once in the comics and in the Telltale game. However, Romero's zombie films *do not* exist - so essentially the popular concept of zombies we have today is unknown.

Ahhhh that's pretty interesting.  I wonder if they could work that into a script somehow to clarify it for the TV series.  I also wonder what percentage of the TWD audience are/were not zombie show/movie fans and maybe just have some vague awareness of the word/concept.  Seems like something that could/should be addressed, even if it were just in passing.
how could that work?
"Hey guys, you ever hear about someone named George Romero?"
"Nope, never heard of him."

Maybe they're going for real reactions but - the guy who wanted his knife back at the school?  He's a guy that's definitely shouting "zombie"!   And those with bites being treated with injuries, sure, but if I see the cops shoot a guy 10 times and he just keeps shuffling forward, the word 'zombie' is the only thing I'm thinking.  And screaming.
As mentioned above it looks like zombies never existed at all in the universe, so that could explain it.. but even in our universe, it is not necessarily an instant reaction... The girl at one point says it's fake for the video on the interwebs... plus many people may assume body armor is being used or some weird advertising thing... I think that by the time it is confirmed as a zombie outbreak it would be too late.
I mentioned the bath salt guy from a few years ago and a few people jokingly mentioned zombies, but even having someone confirmed as eating another person in a zombie like manner didn't get the public in general to think zombie.

I recall reading or hearing that the creators of this universe wanted it set in a world where people didn't know what zombies were. Which is why they're never called zombies in the comics or the show.
