I'm sure I can do it, but I don't want any aliens showing up at my door to go off and fight the Kodan armada. Yeah, that's it.
I am pretty sure Death Blossom has nothing to do with code breaking..... In fact it was only a single button.... you didn't even have to pull off a combo!

I thought we resolved the spoiler issue pages ago when I complained about them. It was decided that you shouldn't come into the thread unless you've seen that week's episode. All spoiler tags would be used for the comics because they could diverge from the TV show.
If you would like to discuss the comic series, then create a seperate thread since it's not the same as the TV series. I don't think it's unreasonable to think that the spoilers are regarding the TV show since the thread title directly refers to that. I guess I can kind of see your point although, this thread has delved into the comic comparison... and that is probably inevitable.... I guess I can try to remember to label my spoilers comic or show... I don't think we need a different thread though.... The spoiler I posted was directly related to a comparison to the 2.

It's absolutely fucking ATROCIOUS that ANY website be compatible only on a single platform like windows (or anything else, for that matter). The one to blame is the fucking "web designer". By the fact that you cite IE on a Mac not working tells me this was several years ago (IE 5.5 on Mac was possibly the worst version of IE, including IE6 which has a special place in hell reserved for it) Frankly, the compatibility issues just don't exist anymore. Flash is a pile of shit on Mac, sure, but it works as long as you don't mind hearing the fans on your laptop kick in.
Nope.. Not several... Last year right around September I believe.... New MAC's. Tried loading fresh copies of IE to see if it worked that way and no go... I also wouldn't blame the wbe designer in this case.. The website had very specific requirements and it is possible that they needed to use code and/or plugins that just wouldn't work on a MAC... and, since they didnt support MAC, and told their clients this, I don't see any reason for them to go out of their way to look into extra development for a platform they don't support... Sure, some general website would need to test MAC compatibility, but not all of them... Just curious... Does GT and the GT forums completly support MAC? Android? Blackberry? HP WebOS? I know I've had issues accessing the forums on a BlackBerry and my old Android phone.... I don't think you understand. If you are developing for the WEB, and what you build isn't compatible in standards-compliant browsers YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG. This has nothing to do with Mac or PC, it has everything to do with shitty code and dependance on proprietary plugins which have been deprecated for YEARS. This isn't software, it's a fucking website. You shouldn't HAVE to test specifically on a Mac. Websites and web apps should be optimized to standards compliant browsers and THEN any exceptions for the various IE fuckeries should be accounted for. GT was designed and developed on a Mac. Should work fine on an Android (I believe Ron has confirmed this). As for Blackberry, that platform is garbage and splintered to hell, and much like WebOS the amount of traffic we get from it doesn't warrant dedicating any resources to it.Well, my understanding is that this was their answer as well... All of their clients that need to access the website and it's related databases were PC based and using IE, so it didn't warrant them dedicating any resources to it.

I disagree... It said spoiler... spoiler could mean anything that spoilers anything related to the discussion... Do we need to make spoilers about spoilers? I think we need a ruling on this...
No you don't need to make spoilers about spoilers. You need a little common courtesy and thoughtfulness, just a little... enough to say, "spoiler from the comic about what's coming up." Instead you put a spoiler in there that multiple people did not want to see and you gave no idea about what the spoiler would entail. Well to be accurate... (Note. Comic spoiler)

That spoiler is the Walking Dead equivalent of saying that Darth Vader is Luke's father, I thought everyone knew that by now.
Why would I know when I've not read the comics at all? Oh that's right, from people on forums spoiling it and for some reason being incapable of hinting what their spoiler is about . +1 I disagree... The title says it all, I think I'm in love. Downloading torchlight as we speak and team Fortress two. Any other gamers here that use their Mac for that purpose?
Yep - as I mentioned in the Hardware thread I use my iMac about 99% for Windows 7 gaming (in Bootcamp). Hoping one day Parallels or Fusion will be robust enough so that I don't have to boot into Win 7. Right now it's mostly for League of Legends and Skyrim. Occasionally I'll get some quirks and have to play games in "full-screen windowed" but other than that I haven't had any issues. Pretty much every game I've thrown at it runs fine. um.. why get a Mac then? You just have a very expensive Windows PC..... And RE: the title... not if we add flash to the site, you won't! Flash runs fine on Macs, you're thinking of iPad/iPhone. Well, I know the MACs don't work with all websites... Thought it was a Flash issue with them as well as the Ipads/phones Are you still designing sites using Frontpage? Hey! I liked Front Page! and anyway... I am refferring to issues I have had with multiple customers and their MACs... One customer had a small school he ran.. the owners son worked for Apple, left Apple and came to work for his dad. Made his dad get rid of all thier PC's and buy MACs... everything went fine for about 4 months or so, then one of the websites they needed to go to for the board of ed had a slight redesign and bam.. wouldn't work.. Tried on multiple MACs and even with MAC fversions of other browsers like IE, firefox, etc... no go... Windows PC worked fine... They called the board of ed web designer and they confirmed that some sort of script or something they had wasn't MAC compatible and in fact they never supported MAC with thier webiste. (It just happened to work)... They had to go buy all new PCs... This was the most extreme case, but I have had other customers complain to me.. Many wouldn't believe it was a MAC issue until I went to the same website on my laptop...(they were usually blaming the router and/or Internet provider)...

I don't want to be cynical or skeptical or jaded, but all my previous attempts to get some sort of GT guild going in other mmorpgs have led nowhere. We haven't played together, we've barely said a word in guild chat, etc. At best, maybe we had some "guild stash" we could throw crap loot into. I like the idea of it, and I keep trying to get the ball rolling, but I think basically everyone's very busy, everyone plays lots of games not just one MMO, we all live in different time zones, have different work skeds etc., and maybe it's unrealistic for me to think we're gonna have some big happy SWTOR guild that regularly runs Flashpoints and crafts stuff for each other and sings Kumbayee around a fire when we're not cavorting with members of all the great big guilds we've allied with. So, realistically, I wanna try to get this little Heroes guild into early access but I harbor no illusions it'll go anywhere. Maybe we'll dissolve it once the game launches, for all I know. Maybe the members will stage a palace coup and call SWTOR Tech Support to have me "erased" as guild leader. That's fine. Lets just get one or two or however many guilds into the early access and see where it goes. Maybe they'll go nowhere. Maybe they'll snowball into something awesome. Lets just give ourselves the chance/chances to see. Well, I have joined forum guilds specifically for some of these reasons... I need a casual guild as my schedule doesn't allow me to be very active.. (Plus I have gaming ADD...) So a casual, no pressure, guild is for me!

I am up for this, but don't know how active I'll be.... I wonder if we can join 2 guilds?

Customized and DLC vehicles and mission reward vehicles will simply infinitely respawn in your garage...a vehicle you just picked off the street and didn't upgrade any at a mechanic...that won't respawn.
What about if I just drop a car at a hideout garage? If I want to use it again do I need to at least paint it or something? If you do the "save to garage" thing, it should stay..

so there's a big glaring aspect of Daryl's recent event that seems to have evaded notice. You're assuming that he used that specific bolt to kill a zombie, that he didn't wipe it down, and the bolt was still contagious a couple of days later. That's a lot to assume. Plus I don't think they are going to kill Daryl off, he's too popular. Not true... Coming Soon: the Adventures of Daryl the Zombie!

Just as an FYI.. With a lot of the Steam games, you can just click cancel when those extra things come up... I do this about 95% of the time with no issues... If there is an issue, I will usually use a direct MS download of whatever it's trying to run and then try the cancel thing again...

I watched it a second time and backed off my 'pure evil'. Leaning more towards neutral evil at this point. I still think he was leaving because of what he lost when Rick came back. He seems to me to have been a dick to Rick since he came back. He contradicts his opinions and orders at almost every turn. How long exactly was Shane running around with Rick's wife? A few weeks? (can't quite remember). Hell even it was 2 months I highly doubt they have been having some hot steamy sex the entire time. I would think she would have been in mourning for sometime over the loss of her husband. Is that really enough time to have some kind of steamy history? I mean if you watch that episode they had to sneak off to even have that one fling so how many times have they really had a chance to build this steamy relationship? Nobody else was aware of it if you recall. Also last I checked being drunk wasn't really an excuse to get physical with a woman who is clearly not interested in you, irregardless of a few steamy hookups in the past. He's definitely conflicted and seems to still exhibit remorse at times but he is losing his humanity more than the the rest. looks like Merle will be coming back (nice scenes for nextweek assholes) so he will take a backseat on badness for a bit I would guess. I still think a Rick vs Shane showdown will be coming at some point.

I still do not agree with you that Shane is being groomed as the villain of the series. He's done some bad things...but most of the characters on that show have/will have done some bad things.
Agree with Hep on this, though I may just be blinded by imagining him in his loincloth Interestingly in the comic...

Ok, they read my posts here and felt sorry for me...I got the invite today. But any link I click on says everything is down for maintenance. Now that I have the invite Im seriously considering waiting for the full launch. I know with Skyrim out Friday I'll be playing alot of that...so for two days of beta play, I might be better off seeing everything new when it goes live. I feel just like my kids when they were younger, moan and moan for something and when they got it, they couldn't have cared less............ Here's hoping they read my post and feel sorry for me! I'm actually gonna hold off on Skyrim I "think".. I had also planned on skipping Saints Row, but caved for that over the weekend...

Not like anyone is going to see this as Skyrim is coming out the same day. What's Skyrim? - Ash It's a new basketball game coming out where the players have wings.. It's an EPIC RPG set in a world where things that are magical are happening. Sounds boring.... I like basketball with wings better...and I don't play sports games...

You can still find a lot of holes in the show if you go searching, but this isn't one of them I feel like this needs a "The More You Know" logo. Its a great PSA My only problem with ibdoomed's initial comments were that he thought the show was unwatchable due to what he considered incredibly bad plot holes that were laughable...then he listed only one real plot hole (Rick's extended hospital stay) and about a dozen, easily explained "problems" that were mostly just people not reacting the way he wanted them to in the context of a zombie apocalypse. I readily admit the show's got plot holes, but none of them so far has been so bad as to cause me to start laughing and quit watching. The plot holes we've seen have been the normal kind of inconsistencies seen in most television shows that are based on sci fi/horror/fantasy. The show itself is still great fun and has some wonderful acting, dialogue and action. You mean like the glaring plot hole of the dead coming back to life? I just couldn't get past that huge plot hole. No thank you. That's not a plot hole.. It's just something that hasn't happened to us yet!... If you told someone 100 years ago that we'd be on the moon, they would think you were crazy.... 100 years from now, people will reflect on your naive comments while surrounded by the walking dead...

I finally got it! It crapped out again at 50% but I have a work around. Pause it and make progressive backups of the battlefield folder. If it fails, shut down Origin, rename the backup folder to the original and restart Origin to resume download.
Fuck you Origin/EA for almost capping out my monthly download limit of 200gigs!
