The new Ford Focus is pretty sweet. I almost grabbed it when I was shopping for a car, but the deal I got on a Accord was too good to pass up. I'm totally regretting it as the Accord with 5K miles has tranny issues. I'm sure they will fix it for free, but WTF.

I disagree. Brady looked pretty good in the 4th quarter, but his receivers dropped some crucial passes. Welker and Hernandez lost them the game.
As a Giants fan, I am thrilled we won, but I felt really bad for Robert Kraft at the end of the game. It must have been heartbreaking to come up short.
On a side note, I think that XLII was still a better game. The last drive where the Pats let us score felt anticlimatic.
them cutting to Kraft right before the coverage ended was one of the most shamefull things i've ever seen... Costas pretty much said "Hey lets cut the a picutre of a broken man.. enjoy!!" god I f'n hate him... Great game by Eli... He's now officially in my book the beat Giants QB ever.

I still don't get why they don't change ot to have one simple rule. Each team gets the ball once.. It's simple and could be really fun... Shrug... Hell of a effort from Ben, but it was pretty obious he shouldn't have been playing.

We have deer all over the freaking place around here. I have like 4-5 in my yard almost every day. So far since I was 17 I've hit 2 and been hit by 1. Oddly enough the 1 that hit me did the most damage. Ran right into my driver side door and rolled down the entire side of the car. Car only had like 250 miles on it at the time. I think the bill was like 3K. I only paid 500 bucks, but I hated the car after that.

There was zero dlc in the first one so I'm not really sure how likely that is. I'm loving that people are digging this game as the first one is easily my fav. Game ever..

Beat the Taurus demon tonight after about 4 or 5 tries. Remembered a clue from the 1st demon and used it twice then promptly lost all 3206 souls on the dragon I've lost several thousand souls on that stretch, learning what not to do, and what works. The trick you mentioned works really well against the Taurus demon. I learned/remembered the hard way that holding the O button on the ps3 = sprint, which helps during the mad dash to escape the dragon. I'd like to take down the dark knight down the bottom of some stairs on the way to the tower and bridge with the taurus demon, but he keeps kicking my ass. If you don't mind being cheesy he's really easy to beat... Hint he can't climb...

Well, it's ridiculous. However, it may be a 100% pefect thing to do with my daughter for her birthday.
The closest one seems to be an hour and a half away, though, so I'm wondering if it's worth the schlep. Anyone been to East Hanover, NJ?
We got coupons to go to the one in East Hanover and will be going in two weeks. For a 5 year old it's probably really cool. Just a FYI East Hanover is like the Las Vegas of retail. There's like a billion stores crammed onto 10 so the traffic sucks ass on the weekends... Well any day when I really think about it. I tend to avoid the area most of the time.

I'm considering picking this up for the pc. The show is great but I have limited time on the tv... Pete i would highly recommend my strat to get through a season. I only play one game a series, rotating through the pitchers. Keeps things fresh, makes the stats more realistic, and I actually finish a season that way.

Weekend sales, and their Christmas sales are really where you can get a good bang for your money, so to speak - Christmas especially is insane... 1 and 2 euro offers for many many games and lots of 25/50/75 percent off games or even packs of games.
The Christmas sale made me want to curl into a ball. There was so much goodness at such a good price. I'm thinking of blocking steam until the holidays are over.

I grabbed it for the PC because it's 30 bucks cheaper. Looks freaking amazing and with the emulator I have I'm playing with my PS3 controller and it works perfectly. Sure it shows the 360 controller settings but those pretty much match the ps3 controller layout anyway. Tried to play on All-star and was getting my ass handed to me by the Nets while I was playing with the Celtics. Think I might drop it down to pro.
Ok I have been trying to get my ps3 controller working for two days. I have tried a couple of different 'drivers'. I finally got the game to recognize it when i go to the controller settings but can't move anything or press buttons. Can you shed any light on how you got yours working? Don't get me wrong it took me two days to figure out how to get it working too. I'm using motionjoy and it works like a charm. If it's already showing your controller when you connect then getting motionjoy working shouldn't be too bad. Download the drivers from here http://www.motioninjoy.com/Instructions on installing here... http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/installThis what I did off the top of my head. 1. install motionjoy 2. With the controller plugged in install the drivers on the page that the instructions tell you. 3. Select the option that says Xbox360 Controller Emulator and click on enable. That's it but it was bitch getting it working. Once you do it's very simple to turn it on every time.

2nd attempt corrupted again. Guess I'll try it without using the downloader. I'm sure it's something on my end as it's not the first time I've had issues with downloads.

I picked it up on Steam. I couldn't justify paying more just to sit on my couch while playing.
First impressions: the menu system is awful 2nd impressions: jeez, I suck.
First bball game I've played in years. I love the in-game feedback (good box out, bad shot, etc). Shooting is tricky, but I think it is because my guy's skills suck. Anything that isn't wide open just doesn't fall.
I started my guy as a point guard, but restarted as a defensive center and am doing much better.
It takes a while to play through a game (maybe 30-40 min at default settings), but it doesn't feel like it drags on at all. It's just plain fun.
It's also making me feel like I need to get a hoop for the driveway. That was kind of unexpected.
I believe the menus on the PC are last years menus FWIW. Correct they didn't have time to update the PC menus. Bummer but with everything else they did and 30 bucks less I can't complain too much.

I'd say if you have any interest in sports game yes. It's such a polished masterpiece that any sports fan would enjoy. Dropped the game down to Pro and it's MUCH better balanced then all-star. I kicked the snot out of the Nets with the Celtics but it never felt too easy. I love love love the presentation in this game. I spent 10 minutes after the game just looking at the pictures and the highlight films. Unlocked a pair of Jordans too. LOVE IT!!!!

I think you guys missed the part about no M-rated games...
yeah, that rules out Demon Souls, Heavy Rain and God of War. Infamous is rated T for Teen though It's such a cool game that I had to mention it anyway.

2005 Corolla In the city the best I've ever gotten was 28mpg. I average around 26-27. I've never tracked it on the highway but it's easily over 30. When I'm on a road trip I feel like I can just drive forever in that thing. My job is just 5 minutes from my house so the pittance I pay for gas each month would make many people cry with envy. You suck! My commute is 60 miles round trip so I use a tank a week. Good thing I drive a crappy little Elantra or it would really suck.

Anybody know how to turn the speed limiter off? God I need to get some money so I can play this game. I loved the first one! Maybe I'll just rent it for the 360 since the game isn't very long...

Their problem is that they have no clue how to price things so that they make money and people don't feel screwed. 5 dollars to rent a movie is just too damn much and I don't need a f'n week to watch it. Make it 2 bucks and make the person return it faster and you have a win win situation. People that are too lazy to return on time will end up paying more and the people who pay less will end up renting more AND not feel ripped off.

I'd also like to nominate 2012. Watched it the other day and was shocked at how bad the movie was. Russia should nuke us for how bad their accents were butchered in the movie. I just loved how the ladies husband gets chewed up in a gear and only a hour later she's all snuggling up with her former husband like it's their honeymoon.

Two issues that I already see with this system. First is that you can't use it for in store game rentals which blows. If you read the fine print it mentions that you can get in store game rentals for a discounted price. Second issue is that they are allowing you to take more then one game at a time. There's no f'n way they will have enough stock to maintain that. Gamefly can barely do it so Blockbuster will be a total mess I'm sure. I've found with that company that there's always something that they do or add later that will totally piss me off so I'm not going to touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Sweet... Does it do the quick snap of the kick like Madden does? I'm betting it does but it would be cool if they changed that.
Nope. It's been fixed. Nice it's a minor thing but it just drove me nuts. It's like if I play a baseball game and the pitcher doesn't pause between pitches. It just doesn't feel right. And the locomotion stuff that Madden added last year is great. You really get the feel for the different types of running backs. I'm soooooo glad to hear that the initial reactions are very positive.

Just remembered it's my Bday in two weeks. Sweet I can wait until then.. I'll probably skip Madden this year and just get this one instead. College sports are so much more fun to me but this series was a mess until this year from the sounds of it.
How's the kicking game? As far back as I can remember the field goals were almost automatic for the CPU if they were inside the 20 which was annoying as hell. Since it's pretty much using the Madden engine I guess it's probably better...
