So how does the game compare to original Blops on the MP front?
exactly the same,IMO -only they have made the menus and customisation a tad more confusing and gimped some of the perks I find they imported the MW3 net code almost entirely. While I had 4 bars nearly every game in black ops and was often picked as host, I'm now regularly on a 2 bar. Also, you will die many times due to the lag compensation system. My copy is on its way to Amazon for $28. I'm pretty disappointed Treyarch put this in their game. edit: spelling

I know where I'm at. It's still frustrating to see things degrade so far.
And honestly, the smug elitist response you take really doesn't make it a place of reasonable discussion. It makes things turn bad, quickly.
My point was maybe we should just lock this thread, step back and chill out a second. Still, thanks for the troll call out. I've been an asshole so often on this forum, its clear I have bad intentions.
Should atb have made this thread? No, of course not. But how far things have gone ( people leaving the forum over this ) ... Is ridiculous.

This is great for forum participation guys, I'm sure we are just dragging new people in with this shit talking on both sides. Seriously with this stuff?
I keep having to remind myself I'm at gamingtrend and not some political site. For someone who visits to talk about games all this fighting about politics is crappy to see. I guess I keep forgetting how great the internet is at turning decent guys into flaming trolls. :-[
Edit: On both sides of the fence, not just repubs or dems.

PLAY FLOOD MODE.
That is all. Just wanted to pass that along. Flood is a fantastic game type and a riot to play as a group.
I'll be playing halo tonight til 1030 or so, or whenever my copy of black ops 2 arrives tonight. ;D

Even in Michigan we have high wind advisories this week and they have said waves on Lakes Huron and Michigan could reach 30 feet. :o
If that's what's happening this far from the storm, holy shit watch out east coast friends.

I bought a beast of a laptop about three years ago for $2200 or so. While it has been fine, the performance level is drastically lower than the dell desktop I'm running now that I picked up for 800. What about concealing the desktop in a nice desk that doesn't wreak havoc on her wooden paradise? Throw a fan or two on the inside of the desk and you'll still have airflow to the machine and you won't screw up the look of the house.
Dunno, imo desktop just offers so much more power for much lower cost.
Edit: missed that she doesn't want a desk. How can she not want a desk? ???

If you read the Silmarillion you'll understand why the dwarves are the way they are.
From their creation to their dealings with elves during the time of melkor, much of their existence has been a struggle. They're a tough people because of it.

I just can't believe a company can make a game with the options in skill trees like this and a game in dev for 10 years like D3 can't come close in terms of customization. I am blown away at how many ways I can spec my character AT LEVEL 15. So far nothing but praise for this game from me. I've been doing everything on veteran so far, too. Normal feels like steamrolling.

Drop rates seem to be way up. Really hoping to find something I can use for a change! Found an amulet I hope will go around 40m or so for a dps monk. Got through 1.75 paragon levels... So far so good. Though they nerfed wicked wind I don't seem to be dying much using that build still. Act 2 was a relative breeze.

While I don't think this is Paternos fault entirely, from the information presented it does sound like he could have done more. Being a father, anything less than making sure that what was reported to him never happened again is not doing enough for me.
Paterno should not be a scapegoat. You're right in that his superiors need to be held accountable as well. They, having been informed of what happened, are no more or less responsible for this happening repeatedly.
I feel for the students and the athletes there who are suffering for crimes that they had no part in, but I believe without putting incredibly harsh sanctions on the school (im fine with a 5-10 year "death" penalty) the administration won't take this seriously enough.

Found a great set piece last night that should sell for at least a million gold. Also sold a 1h weapons for 300k and a couple inferno crafting pieces for 200k each. Pretty good night of loot for me!
Game is definitely more fun when playing with a group, I just can't do the solo farming. It bores me to tears.

Yes, negative. I did a personal training program through work and didn't enjoy it at all. I found I felt like I worked out harder on my own than with them. If you need someone to push you it might be a good idea but I feel like if you're mildly knowledgeable you can get it done yourself.
