ah, I see...I haven't played LotRO in quite some time.

well...they did add something a little different to "death"...I forget exactly what it is called (soul walk or something like that). It has an hour cooldown, but you can "rez" nearly immediately. Unless that is something only for the beta?

anyone know if there is a come back and try us trial?

Ok...so....

I was just, literally, JUST looking through movies on netflix. I turned off the PS3 like normal....

I go back about 45 minutes later, turn it on, and the power light goes green, then briefly yellow, then flashing red.

Anyone else ever have this issue?

so what is the progression of the Rifts? When does a rear become a rift, and a rift become an invasion or foothold or whatever?

I see on the map different invasions and footholds...what is more dangerous? What is, if there are any, the priorities in taking care of these things?

Hopefully, those questions made sense....

I went to the local Gamestop. I asked about Rift...the guy looked at me kinda...doumbfounded. He asked me what it was...I told him again, "Rift...it is an MMO that is coming out next month. Supposedly, you guys have beta keys if I pre-order."

His reply? "Oh...uh....ok....let me look and see...."

He looks it up on his computer screen...and says there is nothing by that name. But, he does say some pokimon game is there. I say, "It is called Rift...maybe Rifts....but you should have it available for preorder."

His reply? "Oh...uh...ok...well....there is nothing by that name...so...yeah...uh...."

I roll my eyes, and say, "Ok, thanks."

so, I bought it through Trion's site....

this game is irritating me a bit.

I am trying (or, was) to do the previous adveture pack or whatever, Serpent's Lantern. I have to defeat some guy named Viper-X. Only...I cannot do it. I die, and die and die and die. Any tips?

I am still in the process of trying to "get into" this game. Those of you who do like it....what sets it apart from other MMO's?

The game is good...pretty fun. My wife and I played a game one night (sorry CeeKay, no random nudity that night). It is interesting...I had read a few months ago that there was going to be an expansion, but haven't followed through with checking.

Is there a GT clan or something? I am returning to the game, for a month, at the very least.....

I thought Serpent's Lantern was the first Adventure Pack? They have a second one coming around the end of September called The Demonflame.

Aren't they supposed to be "free"?

my Aion account has been banned. I guess someone hacked my account or something. I don't know. The customer service guy said it happened back in December. I never got an email or anything about it. Just know that I cannot do anything with Aion until they decide what they are going to do with my account.

I talked to the guy today (Tuesday), so how long should I wait to call them again? I was thinking about Friday. But would that be too soon for their "investigation"?

I am really enjoying this....I am now lvl 19 Robotics. I suck at the PvP, but it is still enjoyable.

I am wanting to get into an Agency that is really good and is into the AvA. Right now, I am in one called BlackBlades, but...it just seems to be lacking.

I am downloading the trial right now. I am looking for an MMO that I can jump back and forth (Age of Conan is my other MMO). I want something different from the typical MMO, though.

Is this game decent? It is only 26 bucks right now via steam....

I am one 5 minute car drive from getting this (my oldest son LOVES transformers...). But, not sure it will run on my pc very good. I see that the requirements are 1.8 duel core processor. Mine is a 1.6. Will that matter much?

it is usually Lyntarra or Kelnn I play the most. Lyntarra is my main, but since I just got her to 50, I will probably play my Bear Shaman a bit now.

I know, that so far, when I have needed help with different quests, someone from the guild would help me out. Plus, a lvl 80 took several of us who were in our 30's through Sanctum several times to get the gear and all from there.

I am really happy with this guild, to be honest...

a buddy of mine is trying to get the game updated (he has the trial). I gave him my discs, installed fine (4 times, actually). Problem occurs when he tries to update. The update starts to download, then Windows reboots. Although, now, he seems to get it to start to download, but now his video drivers crash, then the updater crashes. I am not sure why the video drivers would crash while updating, though.

He said he was able to update EQ2, WoW, LotrO with no issues. He is using an ATI card, and is on a laptop.

Any ideas as to why this would be happening?

ok....exactly how do I unlock the "Duster" outfit? I read that you need "Peacemaker" honor level, but if I am reading it right, that is only a level 2 or 3 honor rank....am I correct? Does it just automatically unlock?

I am still playing this and really enjoying it. Although, I have been getting booted from the server quite a bit, and last night, it crashed & closed, forcing a reboot of my pc with it. People are saying that sony released a small patch the other night, and that is causing problems. I have been playing for about 3 weeks now, with really no lag or any crashes. Now? lots of lag, and I had 4 kicks from the server in less than an hour....

just made lvl 22...and only been playing this character since late Wednesday night. I seem to be doing pretty good...and that 40% xp bonus sure doesn't hurt...

I made a new account...went into the 14 day trial....got hooked...and then bought the Sentinel's Fate CE. Really enjoying the game again...been quite some time since I really got into it, though.

I am on the Bayle server....made a Dwarf Berserker, who is now very close to lvl 16 already.

I am really liking this game....but some things have happened that I cannot figure out.

Ok, I found a special construction project (a large mothership and a bunch of smaller ships, all disabled). I send a few of my construction ships in to start fixing them. I get them fixed...but then, instead of the ships becoming mine, they become some other empires new ships. Why? My ships are the ones that fixed them...shouldn't my empire have them?

Trying to control fleets. I get attacked by a pirate...but I cannot figure out an easy way to select a ship/fleet and send them to defend the place that is being attacked.

Ship Designs. I go to that screen, and it all looks like Greek to me. I know that it will just take some time to get used to it...but wow...lots to learn.

Overall, though, I am really liking the game....
