Dont even bother with the quad core processors at this point... HardOCP.com did some benchmarking on a Intel Core Quad processor and the Core Duo processor beat it in every game they tested due to games not being heavily threaded to take advantage of it and the Quad core processor isn't clocked as fast.

Not sure... Didn't try other widescreen resolutions.

Buyer beware.... If you have a nice 20.1" widescreen lcd you will not be able to run the game in 1680x1050, the game crashes to desktop if  you try and use it... So I havent played the game since I got it in August. Last time I checked there was no eta for the next patch which suppoedly fixes the bug.

Unless I missed it has noone mentioned Gears of War, it's my number one anticipated title and is supposed to be out on Nov 12th.

I got it over the weekend... My impressions, I have none. Game crashes on startup if I set the video rez to my monitors native rez which is 1680x1050. They have acknowledged the problem and said it will be addressed in the next patch.

Someone's bound to be looking for an upgrade make me an offer...

Just upgraded to an X1900XT and need some cash... Looking to get $225/obo shipped for it.

Why not just save yourself a couple grand and get a triple-core Xbox 360 that never needs upgrading?  :wink:

I have one.  For some reason, it doesn't know what to do when I put my WoW disk into it.  For that reason, it is not sufficient

QFT... And if you mainly play WoW like me, dont even bother with the 7950GX2 as its SLI in a single slot and WoW doesen't support SLI and you will see zero benifit from it.

I picked this up yesterday as well. I traded GRAW in on it as I just couldn't get into it... However I didn't get to play it as an addiction to a certain MMO game kept me from it lol.

Loved the first, now cant wait for the second... Now I'll just have to decide wether to get a PS3 when they come out or another PS2 since mine broke a while back....

Just picked me up a 360 and had a few questions about racing games. I have Burnout Revenge & NFS:MW for xbox although I haven't played NFS (its my sons & I just never felt like playing it). That said is it worth getting either of those for the 360? What about PGR3?

Just got back from Gamestop myself with one. Ended up picking up a core system + accessories since no premium were to be found anywhere locally.

I enjoyed the demo, and I am getting it from Gamefly. It shipped yesterday so tomorrow or Friday I will be playing it. I didnt even really consider buying with a playtime of 6 hours and little replay value, but still, I am looking forwardt to just straight run and gun and blow shit up.

I just made 250g over the weekend selling a Transmute Essence of Undeath to Essense of Water recipie!! I'd just hit 50 an went into the WPL and it dropped on about the 5th mob I killed... Now I'm more than half way to my epic mount WHEEEE....

I read a post from a MS rep somewhere that said Barbie Horse Adv is on the compat list because they didn't have to do anything to get it to work with the base emulator.

I dont give a shit if another player is gay, lesbian or whatever.... Its a fantasy game and RL sexual orientation has NO place in the game. Blizz FTW...

They need more quests, especially stuff you can solo or 5 man, and especially from level 40 on up to post 60.  Beyond that though...I dont see a need for 'casual' content.  Old content becomes casual content as the playerbase gets better.  And if there really is a 'casual' player out there who maybe plays 2-3 hours a week, well that guy is never gonna run out of stuff to do anyway.

They need more post 60 content, badly.

Thats what I use and they are pretty good, even better now that they have "Fast Retun" (they ship the next game as soon as the PO scans the one you put in the mail).
