Played through a couple of the tutorials in the demo. I love the maps, but, I really don't understand wtf is going on..
Looks to be allot of topics in the tutorial though. Not sure I have the will to figure it all out.

I remember something like..
hero: I have no beef with you.
Sorcerer: CROMWELLS MINE!
Now we have a problem...
(When talon (or whatever his name was) fought the sorcerer over who gets to kill the evil king)
I know, cheese shit, but my buddies and I watched it over and over it seems.. The three bladed sword and random tit shots made it a hit I guess back then, lol.
I want to see the damn thing. Netflix needs to step up to the plate or I swear I am going to pay time warner $80 bucks a month and buy cable again.

$60 bucks for a game like skyrim, mw3, or civ 5 is one thing, because I can throw a embarrassing amount of hours into them. Hundreds of hours.
No way will I trade them in, until the next one comes out anyways. Because I will get the itch a few months later and buy them again, heh.
$60 bucks for a 10-15 hour game, with no trade in, well.. I am not doing it, unless it is something like God of War / little big planet quality.
Whatever they pan out I will adapt, so I do not stress it.
The Trusty PC gets half my game time as it is now.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2012/03/29/the-coming-war-on-used-games/I respect the fact that developers are upset at Gamestop for reselling products and cutting them out of the loop entirely. But the industry really needs to learn from the Steam model, rather than simply eliminate consumer choice without giving them anything in return. If they would at least match the Gamestop of prices of used games, they would still be making money, while lowering the bar of entry for consumers who want to play their favorite games on a budget. I see this upcoming war on used games as a significant moment in the industry, and one that’s going to be either very good or very bad for consumers. But in either scenario the winners are the developers while the loser is Gamestop. If these rumors prove true, their luck may have finally run out.

is still not on netflix. I have not seen it in 20 years or more.
Where is the outcry? It is bullshit.
A whole generation will not see the sorcerer rip the heart out of the witches chest. No wonder the worlds going to shit.

I do not really care about backwards compatibility. Never remembered wanting that. I guess if I did, I could just plug in the PS3. Regardless of what really happens with the next gen, I will be pre-ordering a PS4 first chance I get along with a nice shiny copy of the latest god of war. That said, I am in no rush for the new consoles. Gaming is good right now, honestly, last couple years have been some of the best I ever remember. And, for near future, it looks good too. We got a civ 5 expansion, legend of grimlock, new revamped witcher 2, diablo 3.. Hell, I am about ready to prestige again in mw3 and I am rolling along in icewind dale 2 and heroes 6 to boot. Sprinkled with some twisted metal and kingdom of amalur. I even got a slight itch to play some more skyrim. hahah Frankly, I never feel like I do not have a good game to play when I get the free time. Gaming is good right now.

Found this: The expansion includes 27 new units, 13 new buildings and nine new Wonders. There's also nine new civilizations, including Carthage, the Netherlands and the Celts. Along with two new types of city-states: mercantile and religious. Scenarios include the medieval period, the fall of the Rome and the (very cool sounding) Empires of the Smoky Skies, "a Victorian science-fiction scenario."Oooh! Most importantly, however, is the return of religion and the salvation or subjugation of the populace through its means. As players enter the Renaissance, spies can be unlocked to change the course of history through surveillance, theft and the always good fun of a coup. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/16/civilization-5-gods-and-kings-expansion-announced-available-lat/I am really looking forward to this one, but I still have not found a solid date.

Asher is as wicked as ever. Call me dominus, lol..
I would feel sorry for her, except for I know how evil she is too.
Remember when she was disgusted that her personal slave was going to go to him?

I loved the game, but, started getting bored. My could just blow anything to bits it seemed, usually never even having to cast a 2nd spell.
So, I do not want to intentionally make my guy weak by not buying skills. I respec to warrior tree, and geesh.. he was as mean as the mage.
So I started getting bored.
I am only a little over halfway through the map, I perhaps have 3 points or so in the top tier, not sure what level that is.
I am hoping they tweak the difficulty or something. It started out light and fun, but as I leveled I just seemed to become WAY overpowered.

MW3, heroes of might and magic 6, maybe some kingdom of amalur..
But, I don't know, for some reason I am getting a bad itch for some civ 5... I might just break that shit out and play the hell out of it this weekend, see if I can get a giant death robot or something heh.. But probably get crushed by alexander and a diplomatic victory or something..
Anyways, I would say definatley heroes 6, mw3, and civ 5..

keeping on with my Mass Effect 2 renegade playthrough interspersed with Alan Wake, both on the PC. AssCreedRev may get fired up on the 360, long with maybe some Eternal Darkness on the Wii.
When are you going to start replying to these threads with?: I am playing the witcher 2 this weekend, and I am not buying another game until I finish it or decide I do not like it.

Well, I am not very far in the single player, but I did find the "quich match" thing under the multiplayer.
This game is a absolute blast. I go between this and MW3.. Whenever I can tear myself away from amalur reckoning anyways.

looks like religion and espionage are getting a boost with the God & Kings expansion.
Looks like I am going to be playing the shit out of this game when the changes happen. I sort of missed the religion aspect myself. I have taken a good long break from it. I am looking forward to throwing down another 200+ hours soon.

This game has got a few patches.
My 11 year old daughter and I play it together quite a bit.
(Yea, I have to play with kids now that my friends from the old days are all old and married, hah.)
I love the game. The graphics, the RPG aspects, everything. I like it better then any game in the series.
I am going to try and get some hotseat going this weekend.

That review in this thread describes it as having RPG features, but I didn't get that impression from anything else I read? Can anyone here that has it confirm whether or not it does?
It doesn't have RPG features in the traditional sense. What it has are events that can change your character's traits. For example, you might get an event that pops up asking if you'd like to lead a hunt for a giant boar. Depending on your choice of whether or not to go on the hunt and whether or not you are successful on the hunt, your character could earn the trait Brave, or Coward, or Timid, or ... The traits that your character earns effect your realm, but they aren't traditional level-ups or abilities that you choose deliberately. They come through the course of the game. I've got the game and can't wait to spend time with it. I loved the original. In the few minutes I've had to jump in and look around, it looks and feels great. Let us know how it goes. I love games like Civ, nabanBLAHs ambition, etc. I am sort of in game overload at the moment however.
