PC game forum, hardware help forum, (multiplayer forum for both pc and console? or make a pc one?)  Not sure about road to gold on that either, heh.

But that about covers me, unless someone can get all the data from Andys gold guide and pick up the flag, but I think that would be a hard wish.  :lol:

Zax, I pad 53 bucks or soemthing foor doom 3 and probably played about 8 hours of it.

I got around 30 hours just of the Kohan 2 free demo, heh.

Shrug, this place is fine by me.  It gives console gold a good chance to pick up some heavy traffic if they strike while the irons hot, while it lets us old GGrs get a new sight that actually has updates.

I just wish things like the gold guide and good hardware posts could be recovered.  GG was a sight where you could learn alot, about games, upcoming games, console games, hardware, and politics.

I also wish they would let us know if its dead or not, so that console gold can get the go ahead to whip this place into shape for all the traffic theyre getting.   It has been down all most a week and no hard information from anyone?   Kinda lame, if they do bring it back up I think I am going to stay here anyways.

I wouldnt trade kohan 2 for doom 3, total war and a bag of chips.

Here is a good film for peeps to watch that want to see 4 players, with different builds, go at it hard for a hour and a half
(you can increase the speed by hitting shift + while watching it.)

I am zobog in this game, and I lost.   But prolly get some good ideas here to help with multiplayer games, as well as some good shadow/drauga  builds, etc.

They posted the game I was in last night in the KOW war room.  Its a very good game, You should download it and watch it.   Kohan films are stored in my documents.  I was Zobog in the game.   Could really help newer players with strats and stuff by watching the players in this game.

Ewwwm well, I got in a mean game last night.   It went over a hour and a half, vicious battles.  It also got very huge, teched out calvery, the worst pieces shadow can field, etc.....

All 4 players were very good players.   IS it possible to take screenshots during films?  I can go through it and take some if you like, or I could send you the film and let you pick them?   Leviathons, teched out beast riders, elders, and Paladins..  Bound to be some good screenshots in this one, heh.   I lost BTW  

But, it was so late I just wanted it to be over, heh.

Tell me what button to hit for screenshots and I will go through it if you want, I need to watch it again to work on my strats anyways.  I wish I could post the gilm here somehow, so my fellow GGers could watch it.   I think they could learn alot from it, by watching what the players do on it.

Yea Zax..  Well FFA can be better if ya got a even number of players, but their  is still a good chance you will get screwed.  3 players definatley isnt good, heh.  Someone always gets stuck in a 2 vs 1 situation.   After you guys logged, I went into Kohan Multiplayer, and ended up playing games till 3 am...

Help me, I am addicted....  I log into Kohan and I cant log out, heh..

This is what I do.  I got to multiplayer>lan>direct connect>type in the IP address.  I tried it with the default port number and port 7060.

No place I seen for password.  So, errmmm, where am I going wrong?  Got wrong port#?  what port# you using?

I am straight up on roadrunner, no firewalls or anything.

yea, i like it here.  If GG is truly down, they can accomadate us.  All they need is a P&R forum, hardware help and a pc game forum.  Of course thats the same as us staying over at their place and sleeping in their bed, its all good.

Besides, most of us play console and PC games for the most part I think.  Its all about the people.  I wouldnt be ready to decalre GG dead just yet however, wait till we here something official.

Hrmm, I am not sure if you have to have a gamespy id or not.  I think it just does it through the Kohan interface.  IT doesnt add gamespy arcade or anything like that.  When ya get the time check it out.  Ip ok, but makes it harder to get other people in the games, alot easier to meet up in a chatroom before ya play.  Can just make a game with a gonegold password or something to keep others out, until we are ready to team up and bust em down, heh.

Is the rebooting just happening in the game with Kohan2?  Or other games as well?   Maybe browse around timegates tech support and try and figure out the problem or something?  Be nothing worse then loosing connection 1 hour into a game, cause if the game lasted that long, odds are its a damn good fight, heh

I got a couple buddies that are regulars online now with the regular way to hook up multiplayer..      We could start going there and making out games, could even password protect them with gonegold or something till everyone feels more comfortable playing in the open games.  Red and I need some help!  Competition is getting fierce, heh.

Hey guys, I would love to hook up and play some with my Gonegold amigoes.  About 9 eastern or so?  (I got to hit a wedding at 5:30 tonight, but skimming out of the reception early I hope, and hopefully be home with the kids settled down by 9 easter)  You all still doing the direct ip thing instead of the normal way?  If so let me know.  I got some other friends that play that hook up with me in the gamepspy chat however, so we could go their and form one up too, could even protect it with a gonegold password or something if we want a private game.

Red and me are at the point where we are holding our own with the big dogs of Kohan 1, heh.  We still got alot to learn and go, but their is no shame in our game, heh.  I think we will be very dangerous in another week or so.

Nothing like a good 3 vs 3 when the teams are pretty much even.  The war is just great, the multiplayer is great.   Geesh, I am dying to fire it up right now.  My wife would kill me though if I started playing this morning after my long night last night of ignoring her, heh.    So, Ill just sit here and pretend I am reading up on last nights debate, LOL.

Come on Red, dont tell me that little defeat we suffered last night is going to turn you to the dark side??  
Rome and DOW sold more copies, and are much more well known.
Hype, marketing, distribution etc. are definatley not one of Kohans strong points, but the game sure is, heh.
