I played a few Intellivision games for nostalgia, but after 3-4 minutes I was sick of each.  There is no way I'm spending points for these things.  Even worse would be the Atari 2600 games.

I used to eat the Healthy Choice meals but stopped because I was suspicious of the amount of sodium in them. I switched to a more low carb lunch routine. I oven bake a week's worth of chicken breasts and salmon fillets on Sundays and then during the work week, I take one chicken breast, one salmon fillet and a cup of broccoli each day. To compensate for smaller portions at lunch, I eat a snack of some almonds and some kind of fruit during mid-afternoon.

A chicken breast, a salmon fillet and a cup of broccoli is a "smaller portion"?   eek

Personally I'm a turkey sandwich and 1-2 pieces of fruit kind of guy for lunch.

Yeah, ho hum. 16GB isn't all that useful. I don't really want a stack of thumb drives next to my 360 holding my games.

Since I'm still on a 20GB HD, I'd welcome the chance to add another 16.

Me too.  I've never filled the 20, but I figure it will happen some day.

Well I just traded in AssCreed 2 to get this (I finished the game and have no further use for it). The trade in value is $40.00 but if you buy MLB 2k10 at Gamestop they bump up all trades by 50%. So they ended up owing me a penny to buy this game.

Can't wait to go home and play this. The demo was fantastic.

The trade in value for Assassin's Creed 2 at Gamestop is $15.00.  How on Earth did you manage to get $40(actually $60)?  Heck, they're selling it used for less than that.

I'll chip in my two cents on the demo, I didn't like it.  But I've yet to find a console baseball game I can get crazy about.

The Gamestop here in Toronto is selling AC2 for $64.99 used.

some might not.  after awhile it started feeling like a chore to me, and I did end the game with quite a bit of ADAM left over, something like 400+ not used.  it felt like ADAM wasn't as rare in this one as it was in the first BS.

Started to be a chore to me too.  I kept doing it even though I didn't feel I needed the ADAM because I wanted the achievment.

What about the Foundation Trilogy? Who was the author? Asimov? There was another sequel I believe but it wasn't as good.

Yep, Asimov wrote the Foundation series, there are 7 books total.  He wrote the trilogy in the 40's and 50's and then the last four in the 80's.  The order is screwy- the first five books he wrote are actually books 3-7 in the overall series, and are much closer linked plotwise.  The last two, as prequels are a little different.

All in all a great series though.  In fact, I think I'm going to start reading them again, probably in the order of publication.

I would love to get some GBS in there, but a lot of the older stuff doesn't necessarily translate over to RB because of odd instrumentation.  As a bass singer, I'd also love to get some Crash Test Dummies in because I can actually sing those in my comfortable range.

I got to submit a bug about when we had the original album artwork for Nothing's Shocking.

Isn't Rush Canadian?

They are.  So is Bryan Adams and I think he has a song in Lego Rock Band.
Yeah, Summer of '69.  Another Canadien export I would like to see is Gordon Lightfoot.  icon_wink

Wow, everybody relax.  I find it irritating that rr mentions his "gay-ness" so much.  (Specifically I was thinking of his AI posts last year as he almost never failed to make a comment about the guys on the show.)  I guess I find it so irritating because I don't see the need to mention my "hetero-ness" all the time.  Since that's a large part of who I am, I guess I'll try to make sure to mention it as often as possible.

I find it odd how ATB always gets shouted down for expressing Christian views even though that's who he is.  But rr needs to be furiously defended for being gay.  That's quite the double standard.

Anyhow, I thought it would be OK to express my dissatisfaction.  I don't realize everyone would freak out and start calling me a homophobe and stuff.  I didn't bash rr for being gay- that's his business.  I just said that it sure seems like I hear about it an awful lot.  I'm still not clear what's wrong with that.

I'm sure you're just as irritated when people express their "hetero-ness" all the time and that you never fail to express that irritation when guys here drool all over women. Hrm, can't seem to find anything like that in your immediate posting history. I don't really think "homophobe" is the correct term for you, I think "hypocrite" is probably more accurate.

Wow, that's pretty harsh.  But if that makes me a hypocrite I guess you're right.

This has me concerned. I got a Wii for Christmas based on the fact that I could get Wii Fit for it. In fact, my sister's original idea was to get me Wii Fit while my brother got me the Wii, but Wii Fit was sold out everywhere, even Wii Fit Plus. Still to this day, I look up Wii Fit Plus online and everywhere is sold out. So, I hope they're not stopping production of Wii Fit as a whole.

That's so weird.  I had no problem getting one from Amazon right before Christmas and recall seeing tons of them at Walmart, Target, etc.  Maybe a regional shortage?
