Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP)

I figured I would have something fun to play on the PSP, as I sinked countless hours into the PS2 version.
This game promised for you to be able to carry over a partial save via the link cable from the PS2 version into the PSP version. Got scrapped.
It promised a slew of new weapons, armors, missions, features, ect. Half of which got scrapped.
Lastly it promised for you to carry the character FROM the PSP version into the upcoming MH2 PS2 version. MH2 north American release got scrapped.
 
I got a whole $8 for it as a trade in towards Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth.

You can suck out a certain amount of points spent into a power.
Press X I believe to pull it out of the current power. It should say the button options on the bottom of the screen.
You earn one point per every even level I think. (might be wrong on this one)

Costumes offer you new passive abilities. Some are better than others if you are leveling up a hero for a specific task. (tank, damage, ranged) New costumes are unlocked by using that hero yourself. If the hero is in your team tagging along, he will not be unlocking costumes until you take control of them and use them in combat. I'm not sure what exactly it is that gets you the new costumes, but I believe it is something like kill 20-30 enemies with a hero to get the second costume, then about 100-120 for the third. The last costume can only be unlocked by doing that hero's simulator disc mission.

You use the credits you earn on upgrading the costume abilities, and you can use them to purchase points for your regular abilities as well, but they seem stupid overpriced. You are better off using the credits on upgrading your hero's costume.

On a side note, playing Arcade mode Coop nets you massive credits at the end of each level.
If you come out on top that is.

I am all up for having some cannon fodder on my team, but when it comes down to the nearest teamate having a score of 2/12, in a tied 30 point game, it gets downright depressing.
A simple "Hey, I got shot in the face over there, watch out" would make all the difference in the world.
Instead, one after another they keep walking into the same ambush.

Please please pretty please, can we start up a Vegas GT crew?
If there is one currently running, could you point me in their direction?

I dont care HOW many shields you got slapped on, you're scrapped.

I still have the game.
I am not on every single night like I used to be (RS:Vegas, PSU), but if there are enough people on to get at least like a 4 man squad running at all times, I would be sold again.

Anybody have any links to further details on this game?
As it stands, there is nothing about what your role will be in Marvel Universe Online.
Will you be playing the well known characters, or just a Joe Blow hero you create in the Marvel Universe?

1) The turrent/bridge level is actually easy when you find the "trick".

2) I gave up on the final mission. The difficulty is WAY out of proportion with the rest of the game. I ended up downloading someone elses save game to see the final movies.

i WAS doing that, the problem was I hadn't played multiplayer at all so I was unfamiliar with the launchpad or the upgrades... and they don't TELL YOU about it or anything. I was using the basic VTOL, and didn't know I could heal the turret.

As to the last boss, He's crazystupidhard for NO reason. Why couldn't I call that B*tch to drop a nuke on his head instead? I mean, REALLY.

KD, as to multiplay, I'm up for that tonight.
