Founder's packs going away soon. Open beta has been running until early access. Lots of fixes since the last time I jumped in. Client is also available on Steam now, but you will not be able to run it until launch so if you have early access you will need to re-download and re-patch the entire damn thing to play.

Lv 46 sword and board. Surviving with my healbot companion and enjoying instant que into skirmishes and dungeons.
I just don't know.. the game has everything I wanted out of the last batch of MMO's yet still something's off. Dungeons feel like they go on forever to the point that I haven't bothered with the last two it told me to go into. In game gold feels useless. The in game diamond currency buys so many things but is nowhere nearly as obtainable unless you are dedicated to daily questing. Could just be that everything you would want to upgrade costs real money when some of those things just shouldn't. Bank space? Inventory bags? Followers that can go past lv15? Anything a tiny more unique than a basic brown horse? SKILL RE-SPEC?!?
Gonna hit 60 just to say I did and check back from time to time to see where the game is going.

I had a fun game of ARAM but I'm still hung up over learning new heros and inventory system in a new MOBA when I've already put in the time in another. That's pretty much how I felt about DOTA 2 as well.
That is half the fun in my opinion. Learning what the items do and who they can benefit the most. Discovering combinations others have not thought of. The only downside is the game lacks the casual "jump in and play a round" feel GoME had. Feels like the people you are paired up with are all ready to rage and vote surrender at a moment's notice. We'll see how it goes after a few hundred more matches

Hi ho. hi ho, into Hell we go, .. . . . . . with not a single legendary drop to date on 75hours of combined class playtime.
It's rough when a basic zombie smacks you for 1/4th of your health.. with nearly 50% damage reduction in total.......
About 50k of AH upgrades later, I'm back to toe to toe with molten elites. From what my friend tells me, at the lv50 and up range, item upgrades are needed almost every level as the difference in stats is massive.

Lv 44 and still no epic item for me. Terrabad luck.
I've tossed ALOT of my pure STR gear in favor of triple mixed stats gear. Health is up to 8k and resistances are up to 29.
Sword and board feels seriously weak, but between revenge, war cry, and frenzy all funneling health back to me in one way or another, I'm at least slowly moving forward on. Had to toss the damage and crit passives in favor of armor % increase and ranged/spell damage reduction.

Lv42 Barb Act II Nightmare. Anybody else playing this class? I've dumped my two hander crit cleave spec for a sword and board stun spec aaaaaannnnd still dying in about 2-3 hits. The D3 forums are exploding with complaints about this class becoming flat out unplayable on Inferno difficulty.
My main is now used to farm gear for my demon hunter alt....

No Reckoning armor? Is there a certain point in single player when the acquisition is announced or something? Currently on Mars station and still no armor or chakram launcher.

Completely cleared the game last week Like Hark stated, this game could benefit SO much from two simple things. -Removing dialogue cut scenes once you've cleared the map. -Adding a survival mode to the existing maps. If they added additional ranks and more powerful weapons on top of that, this game would keep living on a nightly basis.

For the love of crap there is an entire crafting/customizing section to the game now! Hundreds of mobile suit designs to find as well as partners and operators. Co-op ONLINE play, something the DW series needed for a looooooooong time. I'm loving this. Loads of improvements.
If by "the same" they mean the core mechanics of the game, then yeah, you are correct. Guess they want the next Madden to "change it up" by adding some fighting game elements to it, huh?

So fun! Had a blast last night playing this 4 player. I must say, it does a good job of having a new player join a group. You can still contribute by spending your scrap on upgrading teammates higher quality emplacements. (Or by just acting as the scrap collector)
As said last night, the random loot drop system is great, and would be even greater if the game permitted trading. Would be nice to have some kind of an indicator on the ship that recaps the party's load out. Ended up with some very un-prepared rounds. Bit of a connection issue as well. Out of 4 of us we ended up calling it a night as 2.
Cant wait to go back at it tonight.

On a side note, I'm noticing a whole lot of people running invisible scout backstab specs. Ended up in a match yesterday where only ONE person played as Leader with the rest of the team as sniping/backstabbing scouts.
Gonna dust off the ol whirlwind spec to see if this culls the scout population a bit.

I was thinking of rebuying this game too.
The MP is SO awesome.
Having any issues filling rooms?
Only when I didn't have the DLC. I would end up in rooms with nobody. There is still the occasional time the game launches and you end up with 1vs 4 but it fills up in less than a minute usually. I did notice that nobody plays the "everybody capture the one node" mode anymore. Tried launching that one 4 times now and I just end up alone in a lobby. TDM and Conquest work just fine.

The immense summer gaming lag has me looking into getting this once more as well... oiy. I need some FPS and by all accounts I've seen Duke Nukem will not cut it for me.
Guess I'll order my copy today.
I still wanna give Duke a rent. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that votes to skip the first map pack maps. Again, loving the new maps.

Yeeerrrppp. Old post pop pop.
No Transformers Dark of the Moon topic to complain in about all of it's horrifically short single player/ridiculously lobotomized multiplayer, but playing THAT game got me to purchase War for Cybertron again. Having a blast with all the new maps and characters and no lock-up's so far so good.

Transformers threw me off, first game not on a Tues I've seen in a long, long time. Went to the store and they didn't have them. (didn't stop that bastard Kato from getting his though.)
The Transformers game rocks!!! High Moon Studios does it again. Poor Harkonis Oh they've done SOMETHING alright. I cant in good consciousness recommend this game for purchase. The campaign is 3 and a half hours.. that's probably how long it took to get everything there is to get in online multiplayer as well. So many bugs, issues, crashes. It's going back tomorow, and I'm picking up a copy of War for Cybertron.

Lovely game. Lovely! Clocked at just under 10 hours on normal, I am very happy to say this was quite the fun ride. Level designs kept me amazed at every turn. Combat was easy to get into. I was genuinely excited to see which character would pop up next in this journey. Story was fantastic to me. It ties up the two games together nicely. The gore! Oh the gore! I'm not talking headshots blood spewing, I'm talking genuine creep me the eff out gore that still has that sence of morbid humor to it. It cant all be good however. Camera goes wonky as all crap sometimes while platforming and while evading during combat. Getting stuck on random things, getting stuck on things when shrinking, falling off of ledges when shrinking, FRUSTRATING AS ALL HELL timed jumping puzzles. Ahh, no biggie. I got through the game even with all that. Hundreds of collectibles keep you checking every nook and cranny. The story didn't need to tie into the collectibles so much, but now there is reason to replay the chapters. Rented this one, so no original Alice for me to comment on. All I have is memory from the PC version. I highly recommend this game for purchase to any fans of the original.

That poor star wars kid has become a pop culture reference so well known that developers can invoke his name with widespread public understanding. Poor guy. With that out of the way, I'm glad the developers are thinking about how not to make us look goofy while playing the game. They counter balanced it by making you yell "Lightsaber on" before a fight.

If only MW3 would have the Ghost Recon: FW gunsmith feature...sans Kinect that is.
The dude playing the gunsmith feature looked hardcore with his bobbing and weaving during loading. I don't know what to think of MW3 so far. Maybe when they release more MP info. Right now BF3 is winning my heart over with it's tank battles. The quick little MP video was ever so lovely.

Ai yai yai... The concept of a co-op rpg hack-n-slash sounded great. 5 hours into it and I can't take anymore. Find a fire, light an arrow, shoot to start a fire. Move on. Find a fire, light an arrow, shoot to start a fire. Move on. Find a fire, light an arrow, shoot to start a fire. Move on. Find a fire, light an arrow, shoot to start a fire. Move on. Push a wall. Getting stuck on objects, swinging through enemies with melee, sluggish ranged weapon aiming, losing your weapon because you need a torch to see where the eff you are going, finding a fire to light an arrow to start a fire... which the npc SHOOTS INTO THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD INSTEAD OF THE TARGET... Co-op abilities to wipe out groups of enemies, fun.. the first few times.. not enjoyable. Some of the corpse puzzles ARE FUN however since all you get is a cryptic hint and are forced to comb the area for clues. Can't really recommend this as a purchase.
