I can't wait to see this movie again. If you get HDNET the movie will be on later this month. I think it's the 23rd but it may be the Wednesday after. I don't know if I can wait a few weeks to see it again, may have to order it on itunes this weekend.

I don't see it on their online schedule.  Maybe next month or different network?

I'm pretty sure the "dentist" that Jack went to see knows what's up with NCL (no crash land).
Even as stupid as ncl-Jack is I think he's finally getting a clue that something's not quite right in NCL.

The whole plane/attack the sub stuff didn't feel right. Uber-paranoid Widmore had only two guards at the plane? The sub was unguarded? Didn't make any sense to me. Maybe smokey did more damage than was shown when he freed the prisoners? Piss poor writing? 

I'm still holding out hope that smokey is not the bad guy simply because the idea of Widmore being the good guy is repugnant.

Yeah...  I see Widmore as a third party to this whole conflict, not with Smokey or Jacob.  I think he wants everything to stay as it is (don't let Smokey leave) so that the island continues to exist and he can setup Dharma-esque projects for financial (or whatever) personal gains.

from what I've read, unless you're doing some high end stuff, most things will be fine with a standard MicroSD card.

Thanks!  I don't think I'll be pushing it too hard...  I'm mostly interested in DoomDS and playing MP3's so I doubt that will put a real big strain on it.

I've got an order in for a Supercard Lite and Passcard as well (should arrive on Friday), so I'm interested in any "user experiences" info...  The "homebrew" issue was one of the major factors in choosing a DS over a PSP. 

Above it is recommended to assure that you get a "fast" MicroSD card.  I'm having trouble decerning what is fast or not.  Is there a ratings site with this info or maybe just a rule of thumb?

Thanks for the advice, everyone!  It is really making me feel much more comfortable about switching from my 20th century operating system   .

Shortly I'll have a new system, and of course it's will be coming with WinXP.  I'm also going to be upgrading my current system to WinXP so that the wife can load a pgm that she has that requires WinXP.  However prior to all this I've been a Win98 holdout, it's been going just fine up until now...  Do to my "holdout" status I generally ignore any hints/tips that I se regarding WinXP, and now I'm wishing I had paid more attention.

So I'm looking for some general recommendations/tips for the new WinXP user.  Maybe a "walkthrough" site?

I'm curious about things like;

Should I go NTFS or FAT32, are older programs less liekly to work with NTFS than FAT32 under WinXP?

What kinds of utilities should I get?  I've always used Norton Utilities, but it seems that over they years their utilities have become less valuable than they were in the early days of Windows?

I suspect that I should turn off the "firewall" that WinXP wants to run.  Should I also disable autoupdate?  I hate it when my games get interupted by a automated download (or automated anything really)
