Oh man, when Ebert won't even give you one star, it's time to bail. I was going to see this because I came across what must have been the ONLY good review of the movie, but after reading Ebert's take, I think I'll wait for it on netflix.
Yeah, Ebert's usually pretty fair to these kinds of movies. He understands they aren't trying to be Citizen Kane and judges them accordingly. Young men: If you attend this crap with friends who admire it, tactfully inform them they are idiots. Young women: If your date likes this movie, tell him you've been thinking it over, and you think you should consider spending some time apart. I think I'll talk my wife out of going.

Thanks for the welcome, rittchard! I plan on scanning in my membership card and using it as my avatar all over the internet.
I now have an "Apple" folder for my browser bookmarks. I find myself wondering how much the price on an iPad 1 will fall now that the 2 is out. And I'm wondering if WOW will run on a Mac.
Life in the Garden is peaceful.
Oh, and the battery life on the iPhone 4 is awesome (compared to the Droid X).

according to Macrumors, iOS 4.3 is out now.
"With a bevy of new features, bugfixes and sweet, sweet Safari speed improvements, you pretty much can’t lose…unless you have a VZ iPhone or iPhone 3G that is." Does this mean that this update is not for the Verizon iPhone 4? Did a little research and it seems to be true. Guess I can quit hitting the 'check for updates' button now.

I hosed my Droid X and got a iPhone 4 yesterday. I have to say that being trapped in the Walled Garden ain't all that bad. Damn thing works every time I do something with it. While I certainly miss some Android stuff, I'm getting used to the iPhone really quickly. I have been assimilated.

We tried to watch it last night. I thought it was pretty good. The wife feel asleep so we didn't finish it.
Castle is awesome. By far our favorite show on TV. I'm not sure what Kate's so damned scared of in their relationship. I'm expecting a great season ender.

I even use it as my "My Documents" folder for work. And I have stuff in there (contact, network info) that I use for work so I can easily get to it on my Droid X.
Love it and it's become indispensable for me and my wife.

There is zero chance that he 'gets off' with an insanity defense and if he somehow did, no, it wouldn't be OK with me. Here's Dupnik's original statement. Please point out the words "conservative" and "tea party"... "When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government. The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous," said the sheriff. "And unfortunately, Arizona I think has become sort of the capital. We have become the mecca for prejudice and bigotry."
When asked by a reporter if Giffords being shot could have been motivated by "prejudice and bigotry," Dupnik responded, "All I can tell you is that there's reason to believe that this individual may have a mental issue. And I think that people who are unbalanced are especially susceptible to vitriol."
While speaking, the sheriff said that himself it included, "it's not unusual for all public officials to get threats." However, he said the sentiment doesn't come without consequences.
"And that's the sad thing of what's going on in America," he explained. "Pretty soon, we're not going to be able to find reasonable, decent people who are willing to subject themselves to serve in public office." And he's not a liberal. He's just not fucking insane. Seriously, listen to more than Limbaugh and Fox "News".

I don't know...Vick threw for 292, 1 TD and 1 int and rushed for 33 and a TD. Pretty dang decent game against a really good defense.
Can not wait to see the Steelers/Ravens game...gonna be brutal.

5 years 5 million. Way to go niners! Didn't budge on what they were willing to pay.
5m per year you mean, right? Now the Dolphins are offering Sparano a one year extension.

Yeah, I'm not really sure about all this Harbaugh love. Maybe he'll be the next Jimmy Johnson. Who knows? Lots of money for him. Josh McDaniels to the Niners? Sheesh. I wish you guys would get better so I can start hating them again. Looks like that this afternoon Garrett is going to be named head coach of the Cowboys. Works for me. From everything I've read I think he's a good choice. And it seems like this past season's disaster has been a real eye-opener for Jones. We'll see.

Vick is banged up and Philly has already secured a 3rd seed in the playoffs, so Kolb will be starting and once again we'll be finishing the season with a throwaway game. If we win, great, if not, it doesn't really matter. Just as long as everyone stays healthy before our quick exit from the playoffs in the first round. As a Cowboys fan beating the Eagles scout team would generally be a source of great pleasure, but after this lost season, I just didn't care. 2011 has to be better, doesn't it?
