I would like BK a lot more if they didn't nuke everything.

so the smoke coming from the top of the building is radiation?  damn, i thought they cooked their hamburgers.

My best friend in HS worked in a BK, and if you are ever in one, you can seem them do it. They flame broil a bunch of burgers then put them a steamer to keep them warm. When you order it, they put it together and nuke it so the cheese melts and the bun is warm. This is why so often the buns are pretty soft and spongy. Never been to a BK that didn't nuke their burgers (and since they are always on AF bases I have been to BKs all over the world). This is why BK advertises to make it your way, because they don't have to cook a patty to make a burger like McDs does. McDs has too cook the meat, that is why they are always slower on special orders.

Do a search and a few places mention it.

It must have been hard for you to not create a new thread just to say that. Well done Daehawk.

Yes, you can.  Ask Jordan or Syria.

Same here, I am getting the CE without a doubt. I am just hoping the manual is just as good as the original one. I am the process of re-reading Fallout 1's manual and it's very well done. I miss the days of great manuals like that.

The best way to unlock pay tables is just complete all the free table's goals, sometimes easier said than done of course. Each time you complete a tables goals you can unlock one of the pay tables to make it free.

Isn't the wheel just a plastic thingy to hold the remote? It doesn't actually improve the controls of the game besides making it easier to hold on to right?

Pretty neat game. The controls are very responsive and it feels almost natural shaking the remote to push the table. Only compliant is that some of the more complicated tables like Whirlwind look like crap.

Technically I think you would say "third person shooter" from most of the shots smile  We did a whole dev diary on the interface here.  Also, we don't do any cut scenes.

Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to the game, but the screen shots don't do it justice. I want to see what the game looks like the way I will play it, interface and with camera angles that you would actually use to play the game, not to make it look pretty.

But on the other hand," Heston continued. "I find my blood pressure rising when Clinton's cultural shock troops participate in homosexual-rights fund-raisers but boycott gun-rights fund-raisers... and then claim it's time to place homosexual men in tents with Boy Scouts, and suggest that sperm donor babies born into lesbian relationships are somehow better served and more loved.

I doubt you would have the same view if it was your business at risk.

Of course I wouldn't, but I am not arguing for the manager, I couldn't care less if he got busted, he deserved it if he did. I just don't care enough about such minor issues as to call the cops if I did see it. If the manager wants to risk his job for it than more power to him, I am not going to interfere unless something really criminal was going on or someone was hurt. It's not my business nor is it something that is important to me.

If I was going to get upset and call the cops over every minor infraction/morally wrong action I saw I wouldn't leave the house.

The restaurant was committing an illegal, reckless, and potentially dangerous act.  The issue is the restaurant's irresponsibility in not enforcing the law.

Let's not be over dramatic. A 20 year old drinking is reckless and potentially dangerous? How so more than a 21 year old? Without making assumptions this time. The OP doesn't state he called the cops because he was scared they were going to drive.
2398  Non-Gaming / Off-Topic / Re: Was I a jerk? on: April 06, 2008, 07:18:27 AM
Excellent post Semaj, especially your 6 points. We really need to know a lot more than we do, but from some of the posts here I get the idea a lot of people are non-drinkers and think alcohol is the root of all evil so there is no excuse ever.

One correction, underage drinking is a huge no-no in the military. From what I hear while it does happen in the dorms sometimes, most of them are smart enough not to do on base or any where someone who would know them would see them (I would be legally bound to report them if I saw for instance). The ironic thing is that at a lot of overseas locations they can drink at 18, but when they come home to the States the law is 21 again. Just shows how silly the law is.
